My husband and I ordered the small size with 4 topping and we were so impressed. The pizza was thin and perfectly crispy. Not overly sauced or cheesy. Came here for our first time being in Syracuse as this was near by other than the Watertown location where we normally go, When we walked in do dine in they were open for another 2 hours and the location was very dead no one in there and no music at all just silence and hearing the workers conversation we ordered the Valentines Special a medium pizza and wings tasted super crunchy not fresh. The Sweet & Tangy Chicken Bacon was delicious with a bacon-ey taste that I can't forget, and the Cam's White Veggie has the right combination of flavors -it's light and I think I could eat a whole pie. I wish I could give this pizzeria zero stars. Upon entrance the immediate thought was "pizza hut," the decor was tacky, the seats were a nice shade of boring, and the walls were empty. Walking up to the counter, we noticed that individual slices of pizza not full pies were on the menu board. The girl who took our order was not only inattentive, but rude as well. I asked her if I should order our chicken tenders at a cash register or there at the counter and she laughed at me and gave me the answer to a different question. We waited and watched several other workers twiddling their thumbs as she rang out a takeout customer. My jaw nearly knocked my socks off when I heard her say that 2 (two) pieces of pizza, a single order of chicken tenders, and 1 (one) 20 oz bottle of coke was just cents under TWENTY FREAKING DOLLARS! After paying she just walked away. We were not told anything about sitting down or standing to wait for food. Another employee handed us our pizza and walked away leaving us standing like lost puppies next to a busy road waiting for our tenders. We decided to sit down and wait and by the time we got our tenders we had finished our slices and were waiting. There was one other party and they already had all of their food before we entered the restaurant. The tenders tasted like they came fresh out of the microwave after being frozen to the point of a slight cardboard taste. The barbecue sauce was excellent, though. All in all, Do Not Come Here. The pizza and calzones from here are really good (although pricey), especially the crust, which is thin and reminds me of NJ style pizza. The wings? Not so good. The last 2 times I have ordered they screwed up. For my online order, which was promised by a certain time, the wings had the correct sauce, but they were woefully under-cooked! I had to finish cooking them under the broiler, since I'm not a fan of food poisoning in general. I'm guessing the pizza was finished baking well before the wings and they chopped some frying time off so that the order would be ready when I arrived. The second order was over the phone. Got home to find the wrong sauce on the wings other than what I requested, but at least this time they were cooked. Cam's is my favorite pizza in the greater Syracuse area. You would think that a city with so many Italian-Americans would have a great pizza joint on every corner, but it's so hit-or-miss to find good pizza around here. The whole store is always nice and clean, and the pizza is great. The only problem I consistently see is that they have two counters and two registers and no one knows where to stand or if there is even a line. Every time I have gone to pick up a pizza the staff helps two or three people that walked in after me. They don't say "who's next", they point to someone and say "can I help you". So I wait patiently and watch my pizza get cold on the shelf. I love this pizza but what happened to the pricing. A 16 inch pizza with onions and peppers is 25 almost 26 dollars. That's 8 slices and they are about half the size as a single slice at the pizza place. The onions and peppers were scarce and cut thick instead of thin.
