They are like my uncles and cousin cuz they treat you with politeness and care. I had gone out before 6:39 a.m. to buy some sliders to help with the move in of our wrapped and stored bigger furniture. They listened very carefully to my requests of putting the "no rush to open" boxes in one area of the room. Hubs broken record of don't buy anymore furniture(how bossy)...so...the men moved the lighter colored furniture to the extension where I watch my Kdrama and the brown pieces to hiis tv room aka tinier wannabe man cave. They removed all trash with them and are professional in everything they do. Nimblest, strongest, gentle employees, all 3 of them. How such svelte men could lift, push, bend to get the furniture to their old stomping ground is beyond me. Whoever does the hiring of personnel is excellent. Thanks to Servpro and Perfection Flooring about 3 pm a plumbing coordinator came to our front door. She said I've been to many houses, this is a nice house as she entered. First Onsite failed that test spectacularly. They tore a big piece out of our wall, did tests that determined there actually was no mold or water damage issues after all, and then promptly disappeared. Over a month later, we still have a hole in our bathroom wall, all our toiletries in a wagon and everything formerly on the wall still cluttering up our bedroom. First Onsite has not only disappeared, they've refused to give us a copy of the test results saying there is no damage or to even give us an estimate to fix the wall. It's been over a month of ghosting us, not returning calls, repeatedly not giving us anything we've asked for and never giving us a straight answer once we do manage to get someone on the phone. Read some of the highlights of an email I finally sent after both my wife and I got fed up. Then decide if this is who you want for your next job. EMAIL HIGHLIGHTS: Dealing with First Onsite has been easily one of the most unprofessional experiences we've ever had. You are also the most unresponsive company we've dealt with as well. - JUNE 8th Carlton has told me a few days before that the team will be coming in, but presented this to me as a visit for them to figure out what they would do and where. That's it. The men show up and tell me, No, we're tearing out the wall today. News to me. - A few days later the testing team comes in and gives me good news. There's no mold issues or water damage. All that's needed now is to put drywall back up. I tell them that I would like a copy of the test results saying that it's all good. I'm assuming, wrongly, that I will be hearing from First Onsite soon about doing restoring the wall and getting us the test results. That was a month ago and neither has happened and both my wife & I have experienced nothing but evasion and outright ghosting. - I left Carlton a VM asking him for an estimate and a copy of the test results at least 3 weeks ago, after not getting anything I requested the week before. He never called me back. I had to follow up with Carlton again after a week of waiting for him to get back to me. When I did get Carlton on the phone, he wouldn't give me a straight answer on the results or the estimate and said he would get back to me. That never happened. - WEEK OF JUNE 30th Carlton went on vacation, leaving no instructions to his team about our bathroom. My wife made repeated calls to him, only finding out by accident that he was 'out of the country'. She couldn't get response from the First Onsite office so she finally called the Mainland corporate number and was given several names to try. She then was told to text to Bryan photos and measurements of the wall opening. An estimate was promised to be delivered to her Friday. Nothing ever came. - WEEK OF JULY 6th Finally, I got an email from 'Scott' on Monday, July 6th saying he could do the drywall possibly on Tuesday. I called Scott and told him, again, no work until I got the estimate and the test results and that I wanted both today. Scott said he would tell Carlton. Carlton finally sent an email around 2PM, but not because of my request. He replied to our building manager who contacted him. He never acknowledged anything in his email that I told Scott, just saying he was 'working on the estimate'. After a month has gone by. And not a word about the test results. When someone refuses to give you an estimate on some drywall work or let you have a copy of test results, that raises a lot of red flags. - Your initial $12,000+ estimate raised our insurance by $100/Month, despite the fact that there is nothing to clean up. Even with that cost of living raise you created, we've had to notify our insurance company that we're returning the check due to the initial tests being wrong. So all we've gotten out of dealing with First Onsite was a bigger bill every month from now on.

Maybe everyone's best-kept-secret?? One of my friends is a monthly customer (carried over from the original owners) & said they were really good, so I actually bought one-time cleaning service for a few close friends that year, as extra special Christmas presents. Since then, everyone has had only good things to say...they're very easy to work with; hardworking, efficient & detail-oriented; overall great cleaning service. One friend even marveled that, not only did SNJ clean all around and under her husband's shoe rack, but they also arranged his shoes nicely on the rack (bc they were mostly scattered around the floor before that), lol! So when I needed to clean out a large room in our house on short notice--for my uncle to move in--we called SNJ for a "deep cleaning" service. When compared to about 4 other companies, their price was very reasonable ($350 for deep cleaning everything floor to ceiling, including the attached full-bath & kitchenette, plus $50 for carpet shampooing), and most importantly, Davlynn was able to schedule me for that very same weekend! (Really impressed that they work weekends too!) I'm not sure how they're doing estimates now--with COVID restrictions--but when I worked with them in early March 2020, Davlynn & Eddie also did on-site visits to provide free price quotes. On the day of service, Davlynn & her friend/assistant arrived about 15 minutes late, but they texted me ahead of time, to let me know they were running late. Davlynn did a quick walk around the room with me, as I pointed out some areas of concern, and noted that the carpet had some deeply stained areas that might need heavy duty cleaning. From start to finish, they spent about 4 hours cleaning everything in great detail, and Eddie also joined them to do the carpet cleaning. Everything was spic and span by the time they left, and we were very happy with the result. The only concern was that the carpet was still damp--because Eddie had gone over it a couple extra times, to try to get out those horrible stains--but they advised us to leave the windows open overnight to help everything dry out. Unfortunately, I think we should've used mor than just a ceiling fan to air out the place, because the carpet developed a really bad smell over the next few days. Didn't help that it rained that entire weekend too!! Eddie & Davlynn offered to come back the following weekend, to re-do the carpet, but ultimately we just decided to replace the carpet entirely. While it's unfortunate that the carpet ended up being a problem, they did offer to rectify it, and I don't really hold it against them. For regular cleaning needs, I would definitely call SNJ again.

I did a google search & Yelp review and found a few places. I compared estimates and even looked into renting a machine. I ended up going with M &M Upholstrey due to reasonable price and quick response time. Jennifer requested I text her a picture of the couch and got back to me with a quote within 10 minutes. It made me feel better it wasn't just a flat rate. They got me in within the same week and were very accommodating in terms of my time availability. The day of Scott called me to let know they would be running late with plenty of notice which I appreciated. They were only about 30-40 minutes later than the original promised time and easily spent 3 hours cleaning the couch I didn't consider to be that dirty. I don't have a before and after of the couch but I promise you it was nice before now it looks BRAND new. They were so thorough I went from feeling like a couch cleaning was expensive (but worth it) to bad I didn't have more cash on me to tip them. As they were carrying their equipment out Scott handed me their card and I asked if they also did cars for a different day. Because of recent heavy rain we had a leak in my car. They added in my car to make sure all the moisture was out as they were walking out the door. They were just as thorough on my car which as a new mom I greatly appreciated due to the mold potential. I do have a before and after picture however keep in mind "after" is still moist due to no fault of M & M the leak is still continuing to add moisture which we are waiting to have addressed. The volume was so great it leaked to the kitchen below. My daughter and I hauled every bucket we could find and placed them wherever water was dropping. My son who is a construction contractor in Seattle saw our videos and said, "Mom, get a sharp object and start poking holes in the ceiling of the kitchen ceiling to relieve the pressure or whole thing could drop down on you." We did it and unbelievable amounts of water fell into those buckets. After two hours I went online and looked up "Water Intrusion". Rescue One popped up along with others but we chose to call them. Their answering service took our call and gave us an arrival time for their employees. Approx. a four hour wait. We carried on until Paul and his assistant showed up we looked like two wet rats from a Halloween Party. They stepped in and started arresting the source which meant going on the roof. They were in and out for three days. They brought in some kind of 'sucking machines' which pulled the latent water between floors into containers which dumped that water outside. Kudos to Paul, his assistants and Rescue One Restoration. They are the real deal guys! Eventually repairs were completed which involved electrical outages with dishwasher, stove and light fixtures.
