Ordered instead a double bourbon and charged $21 for not even half of that. Waitress was very kind, but didn't check on us very much. Waited far too long for our food only for it to come out lukewarm on two dishes. Crab soup was a little cold and too salty. Overall okay taste. Turkey burger was bland and dry, fries were cold. Charged far too much for a replacement of fries instead of chips. Brisket plate was also dry and lukewarm. Corn on the cob was burnt and cold. Ribs were slathered in too much sauce that was overly sweet and sticky. Queso mac and cheese side was a strange flavor with watered down cheese. Three meals plus a lousy appetizer and drinks was over $130 -- too much for a casual place Overall a mediocre experience and food, wouldn't recommend or go there again. read more

The sauce was awesome. The brisket was ok. Best part about this place WAS THE FRIES. So delicious! What we thought could be improved was that we waited a while for a server to initially come to our table. The AC was blasting, too cold for us. We ordered the charcuterie board appetizer which consisted of some white and yellow hastily cut up cheese, a couple pieces of pickle pieces cut up with a squeeze of mustard and a dollop of apple butter with some crackers dumped on the plate for $15.99. Wow that was disappointing for the price. I mean I could have done that at home and better for that price. There is one good thing about this place: the outdoor seating area. The rest is subpar at best. We were there on a Friday night and sat out on the deck. The music, which was all country music, was blaring so we couldn't really talk and enjoy the view. We ordered the boneless wings, which was 6 pieces of chicken with so much breading and the presentation was a few celery sticks and carrots. I ordered the chicken Cesar for my entree, which is pretty hard to mess up. The chicken was dry and you could tell it was cooked earlier that morning, ice berg lettuce, and a few shavings of Parmesan. My husband got the spinach strawberry salad, which had a lime two strawberries on it. He ate it but again it was all just okay. Went here based on Yelp. Friendly greeting as you walk in......Nice Clean place. Decor was very pleasing. Greeted the minute we walked in.....she asked if we had a preference as to wear we sit...tables were comfortable....Menu's and drinks came out fast. It wasn't too busy so the noise level was ok. It looks like it could be an upper end Grille, but food is more like a short order diner. The prices were on point for what you get. We ordered, A large Pretzel for an appetizer....cheese was warm, not hot. No big deal....the Pretzel wasn't as soft as I had hoped, but I am beginning to think, that's just the style for this area. It tasted more like a rye bread than a pretzel. Now the food....the presentation was nice but it didn't have that 'WOW' factor.....but it wasn't horrible either. It was just ok. Hubby ordered a burger and he liked it....IMO, it was way too pink for well done. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Gouda Sandwich.......the cheese could have more 'melty'......and the bread was a bit too greasy. Bacon was tasty. Was visiting Berkeley Springs for the weekend and spotted this gem as I was driving. This hands down is now one of the best places I've ever ate. The restaurant, both on the inside and outside, is very nice, modern, and clean. They give you the option of sitting on the deck or inside, and even went as far as asking if I wanted a booth or table. Service was very fast even during lunch hours. My server Virginia was very friendly and attentive. I got the steak sub with the homemade chips, and it easily was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Super affordable too! We have been driving past ever since they opened, finally had time to stop today. My bloody Mary was exactly what I want, spicy, peppery and 4 olives. We ordered the crab dip, highly recommend. Lots of crab, creamy, good portion and the naan bread served with it is perfect. The initial service was a little slow but that is too be expected after being closed for months. Had dinner here on recent stay in Berkeley Springs. The setting for the restaurant is nice, sitting on the side of a hill and is a beautiful place. Started with the fried green beans appetizer. Oh my, they were so darn delicious!! I had the turkey on sourdough and it was so good. My friend had the chicken fried steak and said it was also good. Their onion rings rocked! Both of us got a piece of carrot cake to go. It was wonderful to enjoy later at the hotel with a cup of coffee. The service was exceptional, everyone was so friendly. The food was hot, and tasted great. The atmosphere was pleasant, and very clean. The only reason this was not 5 stars: Paper Straws (I know they're great for the environment, but once they dissolve, not so great with drinks), My sweet potato fries were *way* overcooked, and we showed up on trivia night (not the restaurant's fault, it was clearly marked, we just missed the signs). Fabulous!! This place is amazing and a very welcome addition to the little town of Berkeley Springs. Perched on a hillside, the ambiance is lovely and the food is terrific! We say on the large outdoor deck (instead of in the large, well-lit interior) and ate our way through the biggest plate of nachos we have ever had! The two of us couldn't finish it all for dinner! Glad we stopped here while traveling on way home from western PA. Saw it up on the hill on return trip. I quick looked up reviews and we circled back to it. Good choice. We had the pork nachos to start. They were tasty and pork on them was really good. I had the grouper entree. Grouper is my favorite and not something you see on menus up this way. I loved it. Came with 2 sides. Filling meal. My husband got the burger and enjoyed that. Came with house made chips which were really good as well. Good service too. If you are hungry and driving through stop here before you get to 70, turnpike, etc. If you are driving out or is not long after the Sheetz on 522 set up high on the hill. If you are coming from Sheetz you don't know it is there or we probably would have stopped on trip out but we only saw it on the return. read more

Three sliders provided a nice sampling of cheeseburger, chicken tender, and pulled pork. Pulled pork was definitely the winner. None of us were big fans of the fries, but that may have been because they were not hot when they were served. Surprised we were brought our check before being asked if we wanted dessert. Traveling through town, came across this restaurant. Appeared by far the newest place in town. We were immediately and seated. Everything was super clean. Burgers were better than we expected. Best vegan options in town. They have a veggie burger that I'm pretty sure is the beyond burger. Never had any problems with this place except for waiting forever for the food to come out but that's it. Just an fyi the vegan burgers are cooked on the same grill as the animal based ones but they told me that they clean the grill every time they make the vegan burgers. Good food, but not very good service. We visited during our family vacation and made a reservation in advance. They had to split up our party due to COVID, which is fine- the law is the law right? I just wish they had let us know when I made the reservation. The hostess was also very defensive when I asked how spread apart we'd have to be. I try to be more graceful with people in restaurants during COVID, I know it's hard. But I do think you can still be polite and empathetic with your customers. All the food was very good, but we all got very simple meals (wings, chicken tenders, a couple sandwiches) and it still took an HOUR to get our food. By the time we got it, they were going to close in 25 minutes so we had to eat fast. No apologies for how long it took either. Overall it wasn't a bad place; it has a beautiful exterior and interior and good food. They just really need to work on their customer service, regardless of COVID. read more

This was by far the worst experience i have ever had, and for the first time in my life i actually left ZERO tip. Our server was terrible, she never checked on us, i had to stop the host and ask for a refill and our check, she said she would have our server bring it to us, never happened. My wife and I have worked in the restaurant for years and what we observed was a joke and clearly a lack of experience. It was barely pacled and from what we could see, there was more than enough staff. The only time we saw our server was at the time of order. I will.add that we have never been in thos place before and have never had contact with anyone in this establishment but yet we were treated like skum for some reason, we had rude treatment by our server and come to find out, she was the manager. the experience was absolutely disgusting as well as disappointing because we saw good reviews... which now i believe were fake or paid for. Again, i say i have NEVER left zero tip in my life and really i am against it but this time, i almost didnt even want to pay for the meal, thats how bad our service was and by the MANAGER...wow, she definitely needs some training in so many way...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE unless its under NEW MANAGEMENT.
