After being referred by Frank's Auto in Placentia, I made an appointment on a Monday to get my alignment done. To my surprise, they charged a very competitive price of $85 for my Volkswagen! They took my car that same morning and it was done within an hour or so. While that might have just been a slow day, I really liked the attention to detail the place had. The gal working at the front desk was very nice. Most of all, they didn't do any shady upselling like many of the other tire places do. Another added bonus is their clean waiting area. They have a TV, couch and magazines. I don't know why many other repair shops don't realize this is really important to a customer's experience. I'll definitely be back and recommend this shop to my friends! They have plenty of places to eat nearby which are within a mile walk. I was driving on the freeway and noticed a loud noise coming from my front passenger side tire. I pulled off the freeway and googled a tire shop. I pulled in and right away Candido came over and asked what I needed. I told him what I heard and he checked it right away. He said the bearings were bad. It was close to closing time and he said he could do it i first thing in the morning. I couldn't leave it there and I was going to get it towed home. I went to Candido's Garage after I hit a curb and damaged the arm of my right front tire. Met with Candido himself and he looked at it and told me exactly what I needed. He did not try to sell me on anything that I didn't need. Instead, he quoted me on the cost and repaired it. However, after the repair I noticed that it was making a screeching noise when I would make left turns. I came back to Candido's and he looked at it and fixed the issue. A friend of mine recently sold his autoshop located in Brea and left a void in terms of having a reliable place to take my cars for service and repairs. When I blew out a relatively expensive tire on my Mustang GT, I decided to just replace both of the rear tires to avoid having mismatching wear patterns. I texted my (now useless) friend as to where I should go to accomplish this; he recommended Candido's shop. And so that's where I went. And it turned out great. I was able to get two relatively high end tires for the Mustang at a reasonable price; scheduling was easy with the very nice girl/lady at the front desk and I was in and out in under an hour once I brought the car in. So I suppose this is just where I go from now on for car related needs. One other note - it also seems to be a family owned/run business and you can see there is that extra effort coming through in terms of valuing the customer.
