I saw this product on Instagram as it is highly advertised by black chyna. I looked at the videos & decided to try it. I I applied the product and left it on for 15 minutes as directed. It did not work so I applied it again for 20 minutes. I got a slight tint but nothing drastic like they show in their videos. It lasted 2 days. I then commented on their Instagram page and my comment was deleted and I was blocked. I find it very unprofessional that they do not allow people to give their honest opinion. Their reviews will never be accurate because they choose what people get to see. That is shady & dishonest & clearly all that matters to them is to make money & not to help people feel better about themselves. read more

Brows- threaded & tinted First, I'd like to say how friendly the rep was when I called to inquire about the location. As, It was my first visit to the salon, and that mall. Upon, arrival I noticed the sign at the front desk indicating that it was cash only. Unfortunately , I was not advised of that prior to driving almost an hour to the location. When I stated I did not carry cash I was directed to a ATM machine nearby. Bummer! She did offer me $5 off for the inconvenience. Had my eyebrows threaded. Pleasant experience. However, they were mix-matched, but the technician quickly made the repair. Next, was the tint by another tech. Since it was my first visit, and she said she'd been doing it over a year, I trusted the process. Upon completion the eyebrow shape was not consistent and the tint was very dark almost black. With my skin tone and hair color I looked like Eddie Munster, from the Addams Family. Uuuggh I asked her if they had any additional colors she stated that they did, but it was never offered as an option. If I could offer a suggest, I would suggest that the staff be a little more customer-oriented and provide options prior to Services. I started coming here when Candy had a kiosk in North Dekalb mall so I'm a faithful client and I will travel 30 min every time I need them done! Lol I love it here and the new spot is so nice and big! I've had all services done from here: brow wax, tint and threading and I was pleased with all 3! I like how they take their time to make sure your eyebrows are perfect before you leave. I even brought one of my friends awhile back and now she comes here too! I was surprised to see a lot of negative reviews but I feel it may be because this business is based on "walk-ins only" and many may not understand what goes along with that. I was VERY satisfied with the brow wax and tint service I received here. I've gone around 4 times now and am continuously pleased. I learned that Fridays are SUPER busy so the wait time is longer. Candy Brow Bar has NEVER disappointed me! I first went to them over 2 years ago (when they were still located in North Dekalb Mall). I ordered a brow kit on 0ctober 3rd never received it. So I tried emailing l, texting, calling & dm on Instagram NO RESPONSE!! So I contacted Paypal today they said there was no tracking info so seller never sent my package. Then I got an email from Paypal saying package was sent today a whole month later!!! I love the tint but I find this to be very unprofessional. I needed it last month not this month who does that??? & they still haven't contacted me to apologize or anything so I probably will have to find a new tint supplier. My friend and I came to get our eyebrows tinted and we made an appointment with Candy. She was amazing! She was very sweet and very honest! She told my friend that it would be pointless to get her eyebrows tinted because they wouldn't look any different then they do now and she told me that I didn't need to get them shaped. Decided to give this product a try after seeing on Instagram and following the page for some time. I normally go to a threading salon & get my brows tinted and decided I wanted to have some for home because I LOVED how it looks. (they don't sell their tint otherwise I would've purchased from them) So one of the kits was on sale & would not be restocked so I quickly got this one as it had everything (brush, mixing bowl, etc.) The problems started shortly after. 1. shipping took FOREVER. I checked the tracking after a few days & it stated it was still in pre-shipment. a friend of mine ordered the same kit a few days after me & had gotten hers already so I was a bit upset. I emailed Candy & she was willing to offer a refund but only because she stated it didn't ship out when I paid & there were no more in stock. Don't know what happened but I ended up getting my kit 2-3 days later. 2. THIS. TINT. DOES. NOT. STAY. ON. I tried both shades and NEITHER was dark enough or stayed on longer than 2 days. for $50 it should have stayed AT LEAST a week. & like I said, I regularly get tint so I know how it is supposed to look and last. I also have a lot of eyebrow hair so there was really no excuse. My friend had the same issue. Overall, I would say to save your money on this product. The owner was apologetic about the mishap but this product needs some tweaking. read more

Ok, i have been a customer since Candy was at a booth in North Dekalb mall. She is absolutely fabulous; she is so consistent half the time I swear she is a robot. Candy had a child not too long and has since pretty much retired from the chair here in Atlanta (good for her). Toya is my new tech and she is great as well. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first because I was one of Candy's original clients and I used to wait on her for 2+ hours because she was just that good but, Toya has proved to be very impressive. I've been following Candy on IG for a few months now and I'm very interesting in paying her a visit in order to dazzle up my brows; but I'm a bit apprehensive as every one of the clients seem to have the exact same brow shape!!! I went here to get my eyebrows done and it was my first time getting a tint. The women were extremely nice - as soon as I entered, I felt the positive vibes. The woman that threaded my eyebrows (Fatima) was very sweet and she did an AMAZING job shaping my brows. Then Toya tinted them for me. Before she began she introduced herself and gave me an amazing educational lesson on how to clean and care for the brows after they're tinted. I went here 3 times and they were great. 4th time I checked the website to make sure of their hours (It was Wednesday around 4, their site says they're open until 6 and they only take walk-ins. Ugh.), and when I show up they have a piece of paper on the door saying they're closed Mon-wed. I took a screenshot of their website and their page on google and sent it to them via DM on instagram letting them know they need to change it and that I drove 2 hours out of my way to come just for them to be closed. They ignored my message and continued to post photos of products and such. No apology, no nothing. Piss poor customer service. read more

I have worked as an eyebrow sculptor for about 3 years and with in the last year was introduced to Candy Brow Bar tint from one of my clients. She is darker skinned and has black hairs. The tint I was previously using for her was leaving a greenish color stain on her skin and just wouldn't darken the hairs. She brought in Candy Brow Bar for me to try and I loved it ! The dark brown was great for her. We leave it on the full 20 min, to get dark rich results. I've just received my first order for my own kit to use with all of my tinting clients. I placed an order for the brow tool kit on 11/25/17 and have not received any information regarding my order, no order confirmation, tracking, shipping... NOTHING and it's 12/30/17. I purchased this tint after learning about it via Instagram. I bought the $30 kit. It arrived earlier than I expected so I was pleased with that. I found the tint easy to mix and apply. I left it on for 20 mins (the max amount of time) the first time but it was a lil light so I did a second application and they came out perfect. However, the next morning when I woke up I noticed that all the tint had wiped off. It had been less than 24 hours. So, I decided to do another application. I applied a thicker amount of tint and left it on for 20 mins. Wiped it off and my brows were perfect. But the next morning I had the same problem, the tint had come off. It looked like I hadn't done anything to my brows. Again, it had been less than 24 hours. I attempted to contact Candy Brow Bar for help and info. I thought maybe they could tell me a way to make the tint last longer, since they advertise that it lasts up to 2 weeks. I DM'd them on Instagram and got no response. I posted my question as a comment under one of the pictures on their profile and they deleted my comment. I sent them an email and never got a response. I am very disappointed with this product and with the lack of customer service received from Candy Brow Bar. I don't expect the owners or employees of Candy Brow Bar to read this review or even reply. But I want to post my review so that other people are aware that the product is not as advertised and you will not get any response from the business. I think it's ashamed that they are comfortable taking people's money and selling an inferior product. Obviously they know the tint doesn't work as advertised because they have an "all sales final" policy, and it is my belief, that if they stood by their product the way honest businesses do, I would have gotten a reply the first time I attempted to contact them. I only gave five stars so this would show up at the top. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I bought a tint package from them through their online website and I chose a 5-7 day shipping method and they charged me for it but then gave me 2 weeks shipping and refused to make any changes or refund me any money. I had proof from my PayPal account and my bank account stating that they charged me more than they should have but they wouldn't own up to their mistake. This is an immoral company who refuses to take responsibility for their actions. Do not trust them in the slightest. Then as this so called company claims that the tint will normally last 2 weeks on your brows, it did not for me so I went on their Instagram and politely asked on a post what i could do different so it would last longer. That comment gor erased so then i commented again and askrd why my question got deleted, they proceeded to block me. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely terrible. read more

I am a brow artist in Buffalo, NY and I currently use products from @candybrowbar for all my eyebrow tinting services. I currently use dark brown and black on my clients but wanted to try out the light brown tint. I also wanted to try her new brow powders in order to add on to my brow shaping services. In the past, I've never had an issue ordering from this company. However, my last purchase will probably be my last. My first complaint is the lack of communication between the company and their customers. I understand that due to the holiday season and there being a huge discount on the website would cause delays in shipping, however, an email blast to customers would be better than nothing. On the company's Instagram, there was a post stating that there was a delay in shipping and everything would be shipped by a certain day but my order was shipped several days after and no notice was given. I received my order close to a month after I put my order in. But none the less I was extremely excited to get my order until I opened up my package and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I received my tint (which I wanted), but also got a pair of tweezers and a brow pencil (which I did not want). In the box a piece of paper stated that they ran out of my product and to enjoy free products. These products were not free. They are "replacing" the products that I really wanted to try out. I honestly would have waited for the brow powders to come back in stock or would of preferred brow tints rather than to receive these unnecessary items. This past order has been stressful, I've read numerous customers going through similar situations as me and I highly doubt I will be purchasing products from this company. read more

I purchased tint and developer online. After finally receiving the product, I followed their instructions on "equal parts" which their videos DO NOT show equal parts, and no results. So then I did it like their videos and still no results what so ever. I even left it on longer and nothing, not a trace of color. I DM'd them on Instagram asking if there was something wrong as I've used brow tint from other companies and have never had this problem. After 3 weeks of no response, I left a comment on a picture on IG of theirs that This product did not work for me. I came back to my IG to write another message to them and I am now BLOCKED! It's pretty petty I can't get an email back and when I ask a question I get blocked. Don't waste your time with their product. It won't work. read more

This place has terrible business practices. I was the first person on the list when the doors opened at 10:00. Ten minutes later, I was still sitting in a chair waiting for someone to wax my brows. The only employee who was actually there when the doors opened was the receptionist. The ladies doing the waxing should be there before the doors open. That is just common sense. When you are open for business at 10:00, you need to be ready to serve your customers immediately. My time is too valuable to waste waiting for tardy employees to show up to work. read more

I came here for a wax and tint and was somewhat disappointed. The girl who did my brows was such a sweetheart & she told me the tint would last 2-4 weeks. They lasted only 2 days! Found this brow bar via Instagram. I saw the photos and said 'I need brows like this in my life'! I totally didn't get my brow artists name, like I should have. She may be of Indian descent. She is located on the left in the last chair. She was professional, gentle & a perfectionist. My brow shape is beautiful. The tint is way too dark. I will go back to see her again & simply request the tint be lighter. That is the ONLY reason I will return. I give her 4 stars. The NOT so inviting & unfriendly front desk/hostess; Phaedra was incredibly rude & treated me as if I were a bother as I was giving her my money. She's not the best representative for customer service or customer service at a brow bar being that her brows were a HOT like fire MESS! The other 3 women working were incredibly unfriendly to other customers and to one another. The ambiance, customer service & attitude in this establishment get ZERO stars. read more

Found the tint via Instagram. I was so excited for the package to arrive. It took a bit of time to receive. The product seemed so cool I had hoped it would work just as well for me as it did others. I tested it first on my finger, then applied to my brows. It's definitely not for a brow beginner. It came out lighter than expected the first time. So I whipped up some more and did a second application for less time. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the product. My brows are now red and very itchy. I've been applying ice to relieve. Hoping to hear back from the company on what to do for a reaction like this! If it wasn't for the bad reaction I would have given it 4 stars. Thank GOD for this brow tint! I bought it on instagram and received it super fast too. I did a patch test as the directions recommend, also because I have sensitive skin, but i didnt have a reaction. I did my brows as directed from the instagram videos and followed all steps perfectly. My brows came out AMAZING. And it saves soo much time while getting ready in the morning because i no longer have to fill them in. I have already received several compliments as well. I highly recommend this product!! They are scamming people out of their money! I place an order over a month ago, and have yet to revive a tracking number. The product has supposedly been on back order until Nov. 20 th. It's way past that date. I noticed that the comments on there IG business page have been turned off. After I googled this place, I noticed all the bad reviews where people are complaining about the same thing. Why take people's money if you don't have the product in stock??? And after months you should have It in stock by now, which makes It seem like you have not intent to send out our orders! And they are continuously promoting sales on their Instagram for product that you don't "have in stock"!!! This is ridiculous! It's bad customer service and you should not be able to run a business this way! I will definitely be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. The WORST!! Went there to get a brow wax and the sanitary practices were horrible. The tech went out to the store in the plaza, came back, and started on my brows without washing her hands. The customer service wasn't much better. The tech seemed like she was having a bad day and when she finished she put a loyalty card in my face and that was it. I didnt receive any instructions on how to care for my brows post tint. After that experience, I chose to skip the salon and order the tint from them online. Big mistake. The developer came in a plain unmarked bottle and they sent the wrong color tint. Instead of simply replacing it, the owner went back and forth with me about what I ordered. Keep in mind, I saw others online who were complaining about the same thing. I guess everybody ordered the wrong tint color by mistake?! Yea right. This really was about the customer service because at the end of the day, things happen but the course of action is what matters. I felt deliberately conned. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ONLINE ORDERS! SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK IF ORDERING ONLINE FROM THEM!!!!! Purchased the tint and developer from them during the sale on September 23, 2017. They were on back order due to the sale and wouldn't ship until late October. Ok cool. The ship date for October that they'd appointed had came and gone and still no package. Then I received another email saying that they wouldn't ship until late November. That date passed as well and still nothing. During the months of both November & December I tried contacting them via phone, email, & instagram & nothing. I called so many times I lost count. Because I wanted the product so bad, that was the only reason I didn't cancel my order. Only once did the receptionist answer and then told me that she couldn't help me. Absolutely unacceptable. They post on ig so often but can't respond to emails. Smh. In January I received my package. Finally I received a tracking number and it had supposedly been delivered popes at the post office at that point but I don't believe that was true. They sent what I ordered and a free tint for the trouble in the wrong shade. If I ordered a dark brown tint why would you send me a light brown tint as a freebie that I can't even use. After using the dark brown tint I actually do like the product. Good product but no, they'll never get anymore of my money. & no I still haven't received an email with an apology or anything from the manager or owner.
