The name brings luggage -- a drawback to using an existing business's trademarks. This location has got it right though. Don't let the name dissuade. Welcome Back, Cannoli Kitchen! Cannoli Kitchen has been serving the South Florida community since 1996, offering a blend of traditional Italian recipes and fast, easy take-out. Whether you're craving pasta or a slice of pizza, it usually hits the spot. The original Cannoli Kitchen on Powerline was owned by Arturo Gismondi (of Arturo's Restaurant fame). The brand eventually began franchising, and that original location was sold about a year ago. Now, there's a new franchised location on SW 18th Street--taking over the old Cillufos spot. Locals know two things: those pizza ovens can produce incredible pies, and with a return to the original Cannoli Kitchen recipes, this spot has serious potential. It could not only fill the pizza void in the area, but become the go-to for quality take-out. They've only been open a few weeks, and I gave it a shot with a Large Cheese Pizza and a Chicken Parm Sub. I'm sharing this with the hope it's taken as constructive criticism--because I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the pizza just wasn't cooked through. The bottom wasn't crisp or crunchy--almost doughy. Same with the Chicken Parm sub. That said, the flavors on both were on point. Once I tossed the pizza in the air fryer for a few minutes, it made all the difference. The sub benefited from the same heat-up. The foundation is there--great recipes, nostalgic potential, and a location built for high demand. They just need to tighten up the kitchen execution, especially when it comes to cook times. If they do, this spot could become a real neighborhood staple. read more

I had a chance to stop by this recently opened location and had a really great experience. It was a quick stop, so just grabbed a chicken parm slice and a couple cannolis to go. While I waited for the food I had a chance to talk to the owner. He was very welcoming and such a nice guy to talk to. All the pies looked really good, but wound up going with the chicken parm slice. It was very fresh, great ingredients and tasted great. I ordered two cannolis, which are all made to order. They were huge, and generously filled with cannoli cream and were delicious. The restaurant was so clean, bright and just a really nice spot to sit down and have a meal. Really excited to see them open up in the neighborhood. Will definitely be back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for some good pizza and more. read more

Although this was not our regular location, we ordered two large specialty pies and 32 wings. We had a small issue with the delivery. I called and spoke with the owner and or issue was quickly resolved. This is a newer location, welcome to the neighborhood. Highly recommended for eat-in, take out or deliver. This was absolutely the worst pizza I've had. Florida pizza is usually not good but this was awful. No cause. Barely any cheese or toppings. Who chops peppers. The original Csnnoli Kitchen was wonderful. Good amount of cheese and toppings. It so skimpy it doesn't even fill you up. This must be a franchise the original Cannoli Kitchen should be ashamed of I guess they are out for the franchise fee. Authentic New York Italian style pizza with a good selection of Italian classics. If you are looking for some yummy pizza, this is one of the better places to take out. Make sure you finish it up with a delicious cannoli. You can't go there without trying the namesake dessert. It's an "order at the counter" type of restaurant so don't expect a fancy sit down restaurant. The people that work there are very friendly. read more

The selection of menu options was broader than I expected for a small, take out Italian joint. We dined in. We ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner, the spaghetti bolognese, and 2 vodka penne dinners. Garlic rolls and salads were very good and the meals were hot and delicious. The portions were large and we had 3 take home boxes for later. We sampled the Cannoli's (had to based on the name of the place) and we all gave them a thumbs up: no cannoli leftovers to take home! Most importantly, the staff were so friendly and attentive. We dined outside but there is also inside seating available which looked very comfortable. My daughter and her friends (students at FAU close by) will be visiting again with other friends for sure. read more

6063 SW 18th St Boca Raton This is the best pizza in the Boca area and I am originally from NY. I have lived in Boca for over eleven years. They are so friendly, so fair in price and so clean that I am now a regular. Every time I walk in I smile. Mike and staff greet you and will go above and beyond to make you happy. I had a really great experience at this location tonight. The wings were done just right - I got medium heat, sauce was perfect. Generous portion of blue cheese on the side. It started off really good because the staff is friendly and kind, I was so excited that they opened up near my house.I couldn't wait to place my first order. I ordered eggplant parmesan sub. It was so convert and the bread was so soggy, and the eggplant was so mushy, I gave it to my dog, could not eat it, that was the first time. So I thought it was a one off because they were new and waited a few weeks. I just came back from ordering eggplant, parmesan dinner. And it's the same thing, the eggplant is mushy, and taste burned, and I could not eat it. I am so disappointed! read more

I remember the OG Cannoli Kitchen on Powerline. Always swamped, food always on point. This mini version of that just isn't as good unfortunately. First problem: Ordered online, was told my order would be ready at 7pm. Got there and was told multiple times it would be "10 more minutes." If you order online, either call them first to see when an order will be really ready by, or show up 10 minutes late to save yourself the irritation of your order not being ready. Why is this the case? That's the second problem: This shop has the smallest pizza oven I've ever seen, so if they have 8+ pizzas in the queue they're not going to bake them all at the same time. Here's the third problem: The pizza just isn't as good as it once was from prior CK iterations. I will say the wings were both LARGE and tasty, so at least they've got their wing game on point. That was worth a star. And the employees seemed to be working hard. But as for timely pickups and delicious pizza, I can't say I would recommend this location. read more

Picked up food Friday soon after they opened. Ordered pepperoni pizza and chicken parm. The pizza was god awful the sauce was bad the cheese was gross and the dough was so doughy and had so much semolina on it. The chicken cutlet for the parm was straight up frozen and reheated in the frier. The pasta that came with it had two splashes of sauce. Awful and would never ever order here again or recommend to anyone. read more
