Everything about this place is a dream! Food is always delicious and the BEST cup of coffee every time! We are frequent flyers for a reason! Service is always stellar and food is always fresh. What's not to love?

Nice place to have breakfast. We ordered omlette and sweet potato pancake. Everything was delicious and fresh! Free parking nearby.Clean. Friendly staff.

Sausage sandwich okay potatoes were okay

Came to breakfast here for the first time. The coffee was very good. I had the churro waffles were good as well. The sausage sandwich was just okay. The grits were good. Not liking opening up 3 small packages of butter to put on the grits. Avocado toast was good. The kids waffle my grandson ate it all. The bathroom was only one for men and one for women. I had to wait for 10 minutes to use the men's. The person that came out worked there and went back in the kitchen. I don't understand how you have a restaurant for 50 people and have 1 bathroom. The place was clean and our server Kohl was very good. Bill was $85 with tip for 3 people and 3 year old grandson. Not much food on the plate in my opinion.

Sara is the sweetest server! She is always going above and beyond to make my daughter smile at breakfast. They give kids a dry erase maker with eraser to draw on their menu, which is fun. Food is always good and fast. One of our favorite breakfast places for sure.

Generally I don't do this, a 2nd review of same restaurant, an amazing entree I tried was the Churro Waffle oh my "DELICIOUS". Try em' you'll be happy you did!! Again, many thanks to the Manager Kayla, my favorite servers Christy, Joni, and Kristina.

The food was so good! I had flash-fried churro waffles, and it was so filling and delicious, I also got a side of the pecan-smoked bacon, which was salty and crunchy. The service was amazing, our server, Joni, was so amazing and kind, always checked on us and had the biggest smile. And the ambiance was great too, the whole restaurant and its staff gave off tight-knitted neighborhood breakfast nook vibes. I'll leave some pictures too.

Canopy Road Café after thoughts: post-AM-appointment Go-2 spot, both in convenience in location & plenty in selections in the menu (meat-free alternative options - PLUS). Deco's & ambiance are all wonderful, open spacing with barstool counter seatings are available. Selected: Breakfast quesadilla with meatless sausage added + Canopy Road Special + Breakfast Burrito with meatless sausage (top sauce on the side) + side of pancake + side of home fries. All items ordered have all tasted very good, pancake moist & fluffy, & home fries could have been fried in less time. Mom enjoyed their Java & service has been courteous & attentive! Recommendation: avoid high peak time, like Sunday's after 10am. Must Try & Repeat. .5 of 5 (3.5 of 5)

Canopy is always busy, so I definitely recommend getting their early / expecting to wait. After a wait of about 20 minutes, we were seated at the bar. Our service was GREAT & very attentive, as always. The food was delicious and the menu had an array of options, as usual - we will be back!

My friends and I have started a "Breakfast Club", where we meet bimonthly for breakfast and conversation. Each time, we try to visit a new spot, and this last Thursday, we went to Canopy Road. The menu is overwhelmingly full of delicious things from light/healthy to straight up decadent. There was a whole section dedicated to Signature Pancakes, which sounded more like desserts, and while I couldn't commit to ordering one for myself, I suggested we order one to share as a "breakfast appetizer." This idea was met with enthusiasm and I highly recommend. We got the Blueberry Cobbler Pancake, which was light and fluffy, and full of blueberries, topped with a perfectly balanced compote and a side of whipped cream. From there, we all got the Italian Avocado Toast. This was thick slices of multigrain bread, toasted with smashed avocado, everything but the bagel seasoning, tomato, goat cheese and balsamic glaze. It's served with a fresh fruit salad and the whole thing was divine! Next time, I'll be trying a more traditional egg breakfast, but we will be back!

I ordered their cinnamon roll, and it was so yummy (and I'm a stickler for a good cinnamon roll)! I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Texas toast with hash-browns. The sandwich was great, but will I say the hashbrowns were just OK -- I'll probably go with the country potatoes next time. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience I would definitely come back. *I didn't get a pic of the cinnamon roll, but, trust me, it was good!

The overall vibes were casual in a nice way -- nothing too aggressively themed, just a good and bright breakfast spot. Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.

She was efficient, and very attentive. I ordered the corned beef hash with home fried potatoes and everything was cooked just as I requested. My cranberry mimosa was excellent as well. Coffee was good and stayed full and hot. My husband had the ham steak with eggs and toast. The orange juice tasted like it was fresh-squeeze, full of delicious pulp. Both dishes were massive portions and we will be having Grumpy's again tomorrow! Excellent choice for breakfast. Lunch at other tables looked great, too.

A customer that came in after me got served his food before ours. Then when I got mine, the potatoes were bland and cold/warm as was the sausage. Not a good experience for either one of us. There was no problem with the waitress, and she brought me another order of potatoes that were actually hot, but those potatoes are not as good as they used to be years ago. And those were the smallest eggs I've ever eaten. $45 for two small eggs, plain potatoes, warm sausage links and whatever the hell my son got? No thanks.

I ordered a lemon drop martini. My drink was made well and was cold. When we were seated, we looked over the menu. There menu hasn't really changed too much. We opted to start with fried pickles and split a wedge salad. My sister and her husband each had a salad. My sister had the burata and her husband had the ranch. Our apps/salads came out quickly. The wedge salad was cool and crisp. I wish it had more pieces of bacon, the bacon looked a bit sparse. The fried pickles were great. I loved the light crisp batter on them and the ranch dip had a bit of a kick to it. For dinner I got the braised short ribs, my husband and brother in law both got the chimichurri steak, and my sister got the pork schnitzel. I've been looking forward to the braised short ribs all week. I was a bit disappointed that when I bit in, it appeared to be pretty bland. Normally when I get this meal it's bursting with flavor. My husband and BIL enjoyed their steaks. My sister enjoyed her schnitzel, but said the pork could have been a bit thinner. We ended the meal with their skillet cookie. Typically the cookie comes out piping hot, but on this occassion, while the skillet was hot, the cookie wasn't. We'll give them another shot, but I was a bit disappointed this time around.
