It has all the personality and authenticity of a neighborhood favorite; Attention to detail, world-class hospitality, talented mixologists. If you're considering a private event, celebration, or simply looking for an amazing place to enjoy a great cocktail, do yourself a favor and visit The Bank. We recently hosted a private event at The Bank, and without a doubt, it exceeded every expectation we had. This isn't a venue that simply takes your reservation and shows up on the day of the event. The team genuinely puts their heart and soul into making sure every detail is perfect and that your guests have an incredible experience. The host is one of the most gracious and sincere people you'll ever meet. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they care about creating an unforgettable experience. Their kindness, attention, and genuine desire to make you feel special set the tone for the entire event. We can't wait to come back. this is the best high end dive bar you can visit

Their outdoor seating seemed popular so looking forward to trying that. In terms of drinks, they're a wine bar so mostly wine obviously, but they also do have a few cocktail options too -- though these are batched/pre-made. Deviled eggs are delicious and their pepper poppers are also good!

The beer and wine selections are fantastic!! This was my second visit and again...I wasn't disappointed!!! The staff JD,Jayton and Talia, are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and knowledgeable about the different wines and dishes being served. On my first visit, I ordered the Toscano charcuterie board.Although what was offered was quite delicious,it was a bit pricey. On this most recent visit,I ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich and an order of truffle chips....and let me tell you...OMG...those truffle chips served with a perfect complimentary dip put me in taste bud Heaven!!! The sandwich was so incredibly yummy and full of fresh flavour as well. The accompanying salad was delightfully light and delicious!!! I'm so looking forward to my next visit!!! Rootstock gets !!!!

How have I never heard of this lovely winery? I had the pleasure of attending their Summer Music…read moreseries, but was immediately struck with the gorgeous views of the property. Stunning views of the bay, rolling mountainside with grape vines, and then the lush green of the redwood forest carved out this magical micro climate in the Saratoga Hills. There was a red-forward tasting menu, and I fell in love with the heavy, and complex pour on the Bourrée and the refreshing fresh sangria. But there wasn't one wine that I was upset about drinking, and I sipped each new sample with delight. I can't tell you what I loved more: the wines, or the lovely and attentive customer service of Lisa. Thank you for making me feel instantly at home in a new space. The entire grounds was a photoshoot waiting to happen, and I heard there are some lovely hiking trails right through this winery. It's hidden gems like this that make me fall in love with my hood a little more with every discovery.

Besides the absurdity (you could take one or more of their plastic water glasses and refill them as many times as you want), I wonder why someone who has chosen to be in the hospitality business also chose to display such an inhospitable (rude, even) message. Perhaps their intention was something like "If you refill your own water bottle (thanks for bringing it!), please ensure that the bottle does not touch the spigot." Or perhaps "Please help conserve water." Instead, it basically said "If you absolutely must have some water, we begrudgingly allow you to have a little bit of ours." Come on.

Well, hope springs eternal as the saying goes. Upon entering the brewery felt like it was something else. The space was open with many tables to play board games and lounge chairs to have brew and chat. It seemed like a very laid back joint. I had the Pretty Purple Porter and it was so good I had a second pint. The temperature was warm that afternoon and an ice-cold pint was just what I wanted. Anyway, it feels like the place is still growing into its own, but getting there. I'd definitely go back. And now, the pics.

The owner gave me a taste of the Imperial Chocolate Stout, which was outstanding - sweet, strong and chocolatey. So as not to spoil my dinner, I ordered a 5oz glass. Very few Brewpubs offer small quantities, so I was very impressed with that. Our fellow drinkers at the bar were very interesting to talk to, having just separately bought a Growler Werks pressurized growler. One of them was a travel photographer like me. Altogether a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend the Imperial Chocolate Stout - very reminiscent of Prairie Artisan Ales' Prairie BOMB!, but local to the South Bay Area.
