Comfortable atmosphere, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, but most of all, the food was so good! I will be coming here again the next time I'm in town.

Just like the Cass Lupe on Bernardo in Sunnyvale, this one loves up to the name. Miguel branched off on his own and it's just as good as the original. What I like about this location is that it has an outdoor front patio area to eat and there are a few different things, most notably is the salsa. Still have the red, but now they have green which is pretty good. Service is also just as good as Sunnyvale location. Always attentive. Def check this one out if you are in the area. I believe the hours are the same as well

Wonderful food! Light and fresh tasting. Lovely presentation and excellent service. The margaritas were tasty, too. Will go again!

Awesome food! So delicious! Ordered the Carne asada plate Chicken Mole plate Shrimp tacos plate Chili Relleno Ala carte All to go. The food was just as delicious as the other Casa Lupe located in Campbell! Please see pictures below and let your eyes do some feasting. The people were super friendly as usual for Casa Lupe and the surroundings were warm and comfortable. Inside there are big screen tvs to watch games on. There are 8 tables outside that look very comfortable to sit at while enjoying food and drink. Great place to visit, enjoy delicious food and drink at. Glad to see we will not have to travel to Campbell now, just down the road from home! Awesome place!!

So happy that Casa Lupe is closer to home in Saratoga. Always love the food and amazing service!

Average Mexican food. Chile verde dinner was ok. Pork was hard and overcooked and super dry. Chicken enchiladas were overcooked and dry. Tortillas were good and the service was great.

With so many places leaning toward fast-casual, it was such a treat to find a true sit-down Mexican restaurant. The staff was friendly, fast, and attentive, and the dining area felt cozy, warm, and welcoming. The aroma from the kitchen immediately set the tone for a great meal. My wife ordered the chile Colorado--tender and full of flavor--while I went with a create-your-own combo of chicken tacos, enchiladas, and tamales. Each bite was delicious and well-seasoned. The only reason we didn't give a full five stars was the chips and salsa. The chips were served warm but tasted a bit stale and lacked the crunch we expected. Overall, a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Fast food is overpriced and unhealthy. So what are your options? Look no further, because Los Pericos (The Parakeets) has one of the best family meal deals in the Bay Area! It's extremely affordable and delicious. The family meals include tacos with your choice of meat, beans (refried or whole), Mexican rice, salsa, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. They offer four sizes: 1 lb, 2 lb, 3 lb, and 4 lb of meat. They also have fresh carrot and orange juice, which I always enjoy while waiting for my order. The burritos come with a bag of chips, which are home made and well-salted, so don't skip out on the tomato salsa. As a bonus, the staff were all friendly and the tables were clean. This is a must-go when I'm in Campbell and in mood for Mexican food

We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

The enchiladas trio was also well executed. Tried the TJ Caesar Salad, the tamales and the chips and guac. The guac was another star, but the tamales were probably my next favorite bite. With over 900 reviews, I had high hopes--and I'm glad to say my meal delivered. Food (4.5 stars) + The two-taco combo (about $13) was a win for me. I chose carnitas and adobada (that saucy red mole-like one!). The adobada was rich, flavorful, and unique, while the carnitas, although a bit dry, had a nice smokiness. The sweet bite of the onions really balanced the tacos--maybe a touch more cilantro and onions next time. + Kat's carnitas burrito was bright red and juicy (I found it perfect, even if she thought it was a tad dry). I think they put some similar yummy sauce as the adobada. Generous portion, meaty, and delicious. + Will's carne asada quesadillas were cheesy and tender. He found them bland, but I thought they were fine. Plus, the generous guac portion (even if it needed a squeeze of lime) was a nice touch. + The salsa bar deserves a shout-out. Mixing the spicy corn-bean blend with hot salsa and pico de gallo? That's a flavor bomb right there. - Carne asada nachos, while generous, fell flat. There was also quite a generous portion of guacamole along with sour cream. My only complaint is the meat lacked that smokiness or char of most asadas. It felt bland--almost taste boiled. I took the meat home to doctor it up! Service/Ambiance (4 stars) + I put this under service because I'm a fan of the unexpected and getting chips with our meal was a nice touch. Bonus Star! ~ You order at the counter, grab your own drinks. Staff were minimal but efficient enough for what it was. It's casual--not full service, but they get the job done. ~ Ambiance is simple--nothing fancy. You've got a salsa bar, a drink station, and it's very much a "grab a table" kind of place. Overall, for a quick, affordable sit-down Mexican spot, it hit the spot for me. My friends rated it 3.5 stars, but I loved it. I'd come back for the carnitas burrito and salsa bar alone!

We grabbed three burritos to go, two with adobo chicken and one with the Del Mar fish. Each one was packed generously and full of flavor. The chicken had a nice depth of seasoning, and the fish option felt fresh and well balanced. Portions were more than satisfying. I made a small customization request to shift the cheese from one burrito into mine, and they handled it without hesitation. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food came out quickly. For the quality and size, the pricing felt reasonable. The setting lands comfortably between casual and slightly elevated. It is a step up from a typical taco shop, but still laid back and easygoing. There is seating both inside and outside, which is a nice option, though the patio sits near a somewhat busy street. Parking can require a bit of patience since it shares a strip mall lot with other businesses. Aside from that minor inconvenience, it is a dependable choice for a satisfying burrito, and I would happily come back again. Did I mention the staff have great stories?

It was relatively empty, with only one other party seated at the time. Service was friendly and quick, and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. It's got a quaint hole in the wall kind of vibe, but was still clean - though not very air conditioned. We missed it, but there was a salsa bar in the corner near the entrance. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. When we ordered, they asked us if we would want more tortillas since it comes with only 3 - we didn't even finish the 3 it came with. The sauce was tasty, tomatoey and spicy, and it was chock full of mussels, squid, sooo many shrimp, a whole filet of fried fish, and other goodies - unfortunately most of the seafood was pretty dry/overcooked. It came out to about $60 for the two of us. Overall, the mocajete was fun to try, but I think next time I'd try some tacos or a burrito if I were to come back.
