Food was mid, I would only eat here if I'm dying of starvation. Which I was so I came here with a friend and was taken back by the ambiance of this place. It was very spacious. Floors were slippery, food was not kept warm but the good service made up for it.

This is the water they brought me

It alright but like not worth it. And the water came cloudy and there was something wrong with it

A plate of overcooked food with a rice taste hard like leftovers refried. The chicken was too dry.

The place fools you when you look at it as a Chinese restaurant but as you go in, you realize that the place is not updated quality of food is horrible. The rice is overcooked. The chicken is overcooked. The food is overcooked.. the cashier when you asked her about the situation show raise a voice loud. I can't believe this place is open. I never ever witness a Chinese restaurant that gave you soy sauce and rice with barely no pork in it. My suggestion this restaurant needs to get updated and it needs to serve food . Especially if you're trying to stay healthy.

Pretty good for a budget buffet! I went with a large group on Mother's Day, had to wait in line for a good 30 minutes but I suppose it's like that everywhere on a holiday. We were seated together and given drinks quickly, service is always just ok here which is fine. The variety of food is pretty decent-- 2 kinds of noodles; 2 kinds of friend rice; several seafood dishes including oysters (these go fast!!), deep fried shrimp, baked swai (fish), and mussels in black bean sauce; beef broccoli, general Tso chicken (very good!), honey battered deep fried chicken, Chinese bbq (aka char siu) egg rolls, soups, a few kinds of sushi, salad, and desserts! There is even an ice cream with mini cones that my kids love. We have been here several times, they are consistent with food quality which is nice and they keep the buffet line filled and looking good!

Reasonably priced and they keep it stocked. Yay! We went in mid-March but just getting around to the review. We have eaten here many times. It's reasonably priced and they have room for large groups of people, which is who we usually come with. This time it was just two of us. The service starts off great but if you are a soda-holic like me, you'll have to pace yourself. It took a while for them to refill my soda (twice). As for the food, it was busy, but they still did a good job keeping items stocked. What do I recommend. Steamed rice, of course, and the teriyaki chicken on the stick (vs stand alone). It really is a difference in flavor. Of course you'll want to try the other items including sushi, if you're a fan. I am not sure if it's a weekend thing, but tonight they had crab legs. They go really fast so you almost have to jump over tables, counters, shelves, to get there when it comes out. Okay, maybe a little sarcastic, or is it? Dessert: They have a few desserts including almond cookies and soft serve ice cream. They have this flaky pastry that looks like a heart. Get that, pour some soft serve on top of it. YUM! Overall, a good place for dinner or lunch. BTW, you can ask for chopsticks.

It is your basic American Chinese food selection. But its hard to beat AYCE at the price.

Ask the Community - Canton Chinese Buffet

Do they have the same chefs as of last April ? They were the best . If they don't , they will lose Business .

    Ya they do

Is there food there a picky 6yr old would like?

A great variety of dishes something there for any appetite whether picky or not?

Do they give you a free birthday meal?

Not that I've seen, but they are better at providing good selection consistently and I've never had over cooked food, always fresh. Perhaps that's why it's usually busy. Better value from other buffets in the area. The only other big selection…

Just friendly and remembers your names! Ambiance can be anywhere from perfectly quiet to crying baby. It's a family kinda place and sometimes there's kids! Today was a bit strange as someone was in a blanket and sat at a table on their phone with headphones on laughing out loud. Looked like someone who worked there son? Hope that situation is all good! They seemed on the spectrum so I understand if a mother or father had to bring them to work. Love this place! 10/10 food, very friendly servers and seriously, I have been to so many Asian eateries and this place is THE ONE you have to try!

I didn't try the regular menu, but I will definitely come back to try more of their Szechuan menu soon (there were two separate menus when we came in). The staff was friendly, and the setting was chill! The free tea is always a plus :) If you love mala/szechuan flavours, try it out!

Pan + Grill K…read moreFusion serves the best black bean noodles I've had around here - rich, savory, and full of that unmistakable wok hei flavor. The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, with steamed rice and an Eggroll. Also Hot and Sour soup. Soup was delivered quickly... and it was good. Nice egg flowers, black fungus and tofu... flavor was adequate. Not spicy though. They soon brought out my main course, and there was a HUGE portion of General Tso's Chicken. Very crispy crust, and tender chicken. Sauce was ok.. again, not spicy. Eggroll was really large, and tasty. Rice was nicely cooked and didn't taste like it had set in a steamer for hours. Great service... good food. Whats not to like? Far better than the last place I tried.

I'm allergic to shrimp, so the server gave us extra BBQ pork slices in our won ton soup. The soup was delicious. We appreciate that the soup base wasn't salty. The won tons were cooked perfectly. The soup had vegetables as well. The Mongolian beef was tasty, and went well with the brown rice we ordered. The garden vegetables were slightly overcooked, but plentiful. I loved the light sauce because it didn't overpower the crisp-tender vegetables. We also ordered hot green tea. We appreciated that they offer free refills. The quantity served was greater than expected. Enough for a second dinner at home tomorrow. This will be our go-to place locally for Chinese food. Service was excellent. Plus, they gave my husband a military discount (he's a U.S. Air Force veteran). The restaurant was busy. Not too loud. My husband and I were still able to carry on a conversation. I highly recommend Taste of China for those looking for reasonable prices, a nice selection of Chinese dishes, wonderful service, and good food. It's across the street from Costco, on the same side of the road as Home Depot. We will definitely be back.

The flavors of the food across the board are so much stronger and complex than literally all other Chinese food restaurants I've ever patronized. Their operating model, though, is confusing. They have a lot of "ready now" entrees pre-made for immediate service (think "Panda Express"), and several others that are made-to-order. The "made to order" seems to be the better choice, as what's in the "ready to go" section may well have been sitting around long enough to get soggy. I know this from firsthand experience when some of my General Tso's chicken was the last of what was premade, and the rest was fresh. Not surprisingly, the fresh portion was hot and crispy (and DELICIOUS), and the portion from the premade batch was soggy and lukewarm.
