    Yakisoba noodles

This is a chain of ichi teriyaki places in the area. However, this one seems to one of the lower priced ones around. The other one that I go to often in the brush prairie area is way more expensive than this place. Overall the freshness of the food was really good. I got the yakisoba noodles and it could have used a little more spices to it as it was pretty bland. But, still really good. I just added some of the teriyaki sauce they give you and it was not bad at all. Their were two older ladies working there. One at the register and the other in the back cooking. Bless their hearts as they should be retired by now. If I am in the area, I will be sure to come back again.

This teriyaki place is a local chain in a small strip mall near a Winco. The food is typical quick stir fry. Lots of choices and pretty tasty. I wish there had been more veggies though. I got take out and it came out quickly and hot. Serving sizes were good, although I wondered why they put a scoop of rice along with the Yakisoba noodles I ordered. I'll go back if I'm in the area and need a quick lunch

Restaurant was clean and small. Staff was friendly. Portions are decent for the price. Chicken was a little dry and over cooked but overall, the meat was tasty. Will probably return to try other things on the menu.

Love this family owned business! Great portion sizes, friendly staff, yummy food. Pre quarantine they had a free egg drop soup that was available in the dining room when you ate in. During quarantine was able to get food to go though. The staff knows your name and order if you're a regular. Shows how much they care. When mom is in the kitchen and the daughter takes orders, you know you're in good hands! The teriyaki chicken is so juicy and flavorful and they give you extra sauce if you want more. Love, love this place! Come inside to see the special board! You won't be disappointed. Some days they have Korean bibimbop!

a little more upscale than your average Panda Express type spot.

I should probably take off a star just for the name (no numbers please), but this place is such a friendly spot, with great food, great portions and fair prices that I have to give them five stars. This particular location of this chain restaurant is somewhat hidden, located in the parking lot of the local WinCo supermarket, but facing away from the main street, so you really don't know it's there till you enter the parking lot. I guessed that might take some of their business away and the girl behind the counter confirmed that. The physical plant is about the same as most mini mall restaurants with a few upgrades that make the environment a little more enjoyable to eat in. Someone spent a little more time making sure the dining area was more enticing than the average cafe. As for the food, think Panda Express with a much larger menu, or as the counter girl told me, "we have too many options." The food is all great tasting and always seems quite fresh. And the portions are substantial enough to make your order stretch into two meals (one now, and one later) for all but the most hungry eaters. It's worth a visit, especially if you've just finished a workout at the FCC a couple of blocks away on 136th. A hidden Asian food gem just down the street from the gym? I'm in.

Hands down my favorite Korean Chinese fusion spot in the greater Portland area!! Pan + Grill K…read moreFusion serves the best black bean noodles I've had around here - rich, savory, and full of that unmistakable wok hei flavor. The pork belly is high quality and they don't skimp on the veggies. Their tangsuyuk is another standout, perfectly crispy even when coated in sauce, which is no easy feat (if you know, you know). The wasabi shrimp has a unique, addictive flavor with just the right amount of crunch. And the kimchi burger? Thoughtfully crafted with a soft brioche bun, a juicy, flavorful patty, and kimchi that really pops. Beyond the food, the hospitality makes the experience even better. Sam and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They are happy to offer recommendations, check in throughout your meal, and always greet you with a smile. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time, especially to take advantage of their lunch specials. If you are in the area, this place is an absolute must try, especially since they are always updating the menu with new dishes to try!

I didn't give it a 5 star because I was a bit disappointed with how little protein they add to their ganjjajang. First time I ordered the pork and then I ordered the seafood on another visit. The taste was amazing and authentic but I was disappointed with the pork because they give you like 6 pieces of pork and there is tiny fried pieces as well but the size of a scab lol. I love the big pieces of veggies in it but it's sad they can't do the same with the protein. Now with the seafood version it was the exact same thing very little protein but mountain of veggies except this time the zucchini was so tiny while they gave me giant blocks of onions again I don't mind that but it's all disproportionate. Nothing to what I have had at different Korean spots in Arizona. Everything else is amazing like their fried rice or bulgogi burgers. Their tteokboki is alright it's a niche type of dish so it won't be for everyone. It was more sweet than I like but that's just a me thing. Service was great and the ambiance was chill, quiet and cozy. We will still be returning just maybe will stop ordering the jajamyeon unfortunately.

Enjoyed our dinner at Taste of China…read more We ordered won ton soup, Mongolian beef, brown rice, and garden vegetable mix. I'm allergic to shrimp, so the server gave us extra BBQ pork slices in our won ton soup. The soup was delicious. We appreciate that the soup base wasn't salty. The won tons were cooked perfectly. The soup had vegetables as well. The Mongolian beef was tasty, and went well with the brown rice we ordered. The garden vegetables were slightly overcooked, but plentiful. I loved the light sauce because it didn't overpower the crisp-tender vegetables. We also ordered hot green tea. We appreciated that they offer free refills. The quantity served was greater than expected. Enough for a second dinner at home tomorrow. This will be our go-to place locally for Chinese food. Service was excellent. Plus, they gave my husband a military discount (he's a U.S. Air Force veteran). The restaurant was busy. Not too loud. My husband and I were still able to carry on a conversation. I highly recommend Taste of China for those looking for reasonable prices, a nice selection of Chinese dishes, wonderful service, and good food. It's across the street from Costco, on the same side of the road as Home Depot. We will definitely be back.

The first two bad experiences were delivery. I did not receive the food that was ordered. I believe I received someone else'. When I tried to call them regarding the situation, they were closed. I called the next day and they said that they needed to hear from me the same day. The second delivery was accurate, the food was terrible. I went in yesterday to eat at the restaurant. I am so sad to say that it was absolutely terrible. I took two bites of every item ordered, their deluxe combo. My server saw that I was not eating it, she brought me a box and my check. She did not ask how the food was or if there was a problem. Because the portions are large and I had not eaten any of it, I had a lot of food. She brought me one small container. I asked for enough containers to take it all. I paid my bill and left. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this. They have lost their sense of customer service and their food quality/flavor. The photo that is attached shows a beautiful plate of food, however, there was no flavor in any of the options.

The flavors of the food across the board are so much stronger and complex than literally all other Chinese food restaurants I've ever patronized. Their operating model, though, is confusing. They have a lot of "ready now" entrees pre-made for immediate service (think "Panda Express"), and several others that are made-to-order. The "made to order" seems to be the better choice, as what's in the "ready to go" section may well have been sitting around long enough to get soggy. I know this from firsthand experience when some of my General Tso's chicken was the last of what was premade, and the rest was fresh. Not surprisingly, the fresh portion was hot and crispy (and DELICIOUS), and the portion from the premade batch was soggy and lukewarm. There are two chairs in the interior for patrons, so be prepared to stand while your order is filled. Parking is easy as Mar's is attached to a unique and charming Country store with its own parking lot.
