Came here thinking it would offer a full dim sum menu like I had when I was in Hong Kong for a month. Sadly it didn't, just a limited off the menu ordering. I was craving authentic congee that day, so I thought I'd ask the server just in case if the chef had any prepared just in case but she seemed not to understand me at all almost as if she was only trained to take orders off the menu and that was it. She was a lovely young Asian girl so I quickly decided not to put her through any more pain and just ordered off the menu. I ordered the candy walnut shrimp (similar to what you get at PF changs) but a much larger portion than theirs. It was very good. We also got the sesame seed balls which surprisingly had red bean paste inside, which is fine. I've had both, I'm just more used to the sweeter lotus flower paste. The menu doesn't tell you the filling so just took me by surprise. The were generous with the portions though. I believe I got 6 ?? I normally only get 3 back home on the east coast so that was pleasant. The most fun part of the experience was visiting the ladies restroom. They have a bathroom stall with a teeny tiny toilet I'm assuming for a child?? It was the cutest thing ever!! Waited until no one was in the restroom to take this pic of it. So unique! Worth seeing! Full size stall with tiniest toilet! Ha! Would try this place again if back in the area. The food is great! However, we went for lunch today and witnessed the waitress clearing a table near us do something very nasty. She dumped water from the previous customers glass onto the table and wiped the table off with the previous customers used napkin. Then when done , placed new glasses and napkins on the table. So basically she smeared the previous customers germs all over the table to clean it! No cleaning spray, no clean rags. That's totally against code and unacceptable. It makes me wonder what goes on in their kitchen. If they could manage proper cleaning, the place would be 5 stars. read more

It's been a while since we have ordered in but I was not up to cooking and my husband doesn't cook, both of us are in difficult health. We decided to order in and decided on Kenton Palace. Our food was extremely disappointing! We ordered sweet-and-sour shrimp and there was four times as much crust as there was shrimp Plus it was cold! We didn't expect it to be piping hot, since it was delivered, But we didn't expect it to be cold! The rice was dry and the eggroll was tasteless. $52+ down the drain! we live on a limited income So this was a big splurge and I think I would feel better if I had thrown $52 out the window! Ordered teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice from here. Received sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. We have someone completely allergic to shellfish. When I called to complain I got hung up on and after calling back finally talked to a manager. I did not care about anything in return but wanted an apology. My cousin is allergic to all shellfish and had a bite of rice thinking it was chicken. They did not even seem to care at all. I would not recommend them at all. read more

I ordered sea bass and a small wonton soup and salad. I asked for a side of vegetables and rice. The prices online were substantially less online than what I was charged. I picked up the order and went to my 89 year friend's house and discovered they forgot my soup. I called about it and Owner laughed at the mistake. He offered to give me a gift certificate or come back and get my soup. The fish was 27.99 and it was horrible and I did return it. There was no bed of green beans for the fish and I paid 4.95 for the extra vegetables. The Owner gave me 32.00 back, not even enough for the entire food with tax . I will never go back there and I told them to update their pricing online. read more

This was our first meal at a restaurant since the COVID outbreak more than a year ago. We couldn't have picked a better place. Our meals were excellent and the staff was extremely polite and COVID careful. The ambiance was very nice. The Scallops A La Sichuan were seared and seasoned perfectly. We ordered the Vietnamese egg roll over noodles with pork, and it was also quite delicious. The pork pieces were delicately fried. I am so disappointed for my hometown. You have no good Chinese restaurants. But, according to Yelp ratings, you do have a couple, this being one of them. So we tried it. Disappointing. Ambiance 5 stars This is a nice facility. There are two restaurants in one, the east side being for their hibachi style menu and the other for their Chinese menu. There is a bar in between. The Chinese side is separated into areas separated with tall, dark-stained wood walls. Classy looking. Each area has about 8 or 9 tables. We were their in the evening and the lighting was sufficient, not too dark but light enough to enjoy one's company and food. The tables are new with a fancy top. Service 4.5 stars The greeter was pleasant. Our waitress was cheerful and polite. She was helpful, but also just a tad spacey. She forgot some things on four separate occasions, none of which was a big deal. But we liked her very much in spite of that. Food 2 stars I place a lot of weight in this category and it makes up a good 60% of my consideration. The food here, while not bad, was spectaculary void of flavor. Our pork lo mein was a good example of flavorless. The pork was breaded and fried. That was a first for me. I've never had breaded, fried pork in lo mein before. Even adding soy sauce and hot mustard to the mix did not help very much. The lemon chicken was just the breaded lemon chicken they use for their sweet and sour chicken. That's just a guess, but that's exactly what it looked like. They provide a sauce that you ladle onto the chicken. This is not like the customary breaded, fried, and sliced chicken breast with the sauce already on it, served with lemon slices as a garnish. The sweet and sour style breading does not lend to soaking up the lemon sauce like a true lemon chicken would. The chicken was also ever so slightly over-cooked. The moo goo gai pan was the best of the three entrees. The chicken was cooked fine, thought not the most tender I've ever eaten, but it was fine. The sauce was pretty good, if not just a hair too salty. Good variety of water chestnuts, zucchini, some carrot, a little bit of cabbage, some oh, I found it mushrooms (I think there were three pieces), and about five shrimps. Not bad, not great, but not bad. The egg rolls had no meat and were just cabbage egg rolls. Big and fat. They were OK, not great, but OK. My hot and sour soup was a little heavy on the soy sauce in the broth. But it was OK. Since I am finding as I go through life, that every area has its own tastes for what is "good." So if you are a Lovelander, I would recommend you try this out and see if you like it. Judging by the Yelp reviews, you'll probably like it. I don't. read more

By far the best Asian food in the Fort Collins and Loveland area. This includes the Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese choices they offer on their menu. Like the other reviewer said, the building is split into two sections - to the left is Chinese and to the right is Japanese style hibachi cooking. When you first walk in, you notice the bar to the right, the host station right in front of you while you're surrounded by a gorgeous dark cherry wood atmosphere throughout the restaurant. So onto the food... Portions are generous and every bite is robustly full of flavor! I love the Lemon pepper prawns and Crispy Flank Steak. Definitely go there - It's amazing! read more

At this location I had two entrees. One was in the restaurant and one I had to go. The one I had in the restaurant was the sweet and sour combo. It contained chicken, shrimp and pork. but since all the meats were breaded and deep fried, it all tasted the same, the vegetables in the dish were only a few pieces of green bell pepper, onion and pineapple. the pineapple tasted very odd, as if it was left out all day and spoiled. The other was triple delight a la sichuan, this one was alot better with good balance of meat to vegetable ratio. Really great Chinese place in town. I have eaten here for many years now and the food has never let me down so far even with the minor changes made to the recipes. The staff is easily able to modify any meals where I might not want one of the ingredients like bamboo or peppers. They also can make things way more spicy than it is normally, but as most places go, tend to come up shorter than expected you ask for the hottest you can make it. The portions are incredibly large and can easily make 3 or 4 meals out of them If you wanted to stretch it. I always plan on making multiple meals, but the food is so good that I usually just end up eating everything and regretting it later, which I think is a good indication of tasty food. The owner Toby, in the few times I have talked with, has been really friendly and interested in how the meal was looking for feedback which is also a good sign of someone who cares. The staff can be hit or miss in its quality of service and certainly during peak dinner time don't expect stellar service. It takes time to cook things and there are only a handful of staff to serve. It is however worth the wait, so just have patience. There is also a Hibachi attached to the other side of the place that I have never tried before but in talking with those who have tried it, they were very pleased and thought it was better than the big chain Hibachi like Benihana. The restaurant to me has also been kept clean and free of stray food and bugs. I can't recall ever really seeing a mess on anything. Occasionally during the slow times, a table can be left dirty for a bit, but during the rush and peak times they are always very quick in clearing and cleaning off tables. Overall, to me this is a pretty good place for your standard Americanized Chinese with a good menu, pricing and portions. read more

Ok first of all, ignore the negative reviews. I'm pretty sure they ordered from somewhere else by mistake. We have lived here for 7 years, and Canton has been our go-to Chinese/Asian food place the entire time. The main reason I know that the bad reviewers are legally insane is the consistency Canton Palace provides. Every singly time they have wonderful food. Dining in? Wonderful food. Take out? Wonderful food. Delivery? Guess what, wonderful food. Flavorful. Perfectly seasoned. And if you try anything breaded and deep fried??? Very crunchy Sesame chicken with sweet and spicy sauce. Can recommend highly and is the best for late night cravings.

We went in for lunch today, and I was pleasantly surprised. It is much nicer on the inside then what I was expecting from the outside. I got the sesame chicken lunch plate - and it was much bigger then I was expecting for lunch! It ended up turning into my lunch and dinner. It was really good and they give you a lot of rice with it also. My only complaint is the wonton's in the wonton soup I got with it were a little chewy. read more

This is a go to restaurant for my husband and I. Friday night, we just didn't feel like cooking and made out way two blocks to the south to dine at one of our favorite restaurants in Loveland. For starters, the owners are so, so nice and really want you to have a good experience which we have always had. The service is always really punctual and attentive. I ordered the salt and pepper tofu which is what I almost always order and once again, ate pretty much the entire plate. I asked for steamed veggies on the side and got perfectly steamed broccoli. The tofu is lightly crisp and the breading is not too spicy, not too salty. The tofu itself is creamy and delicious and not at all your typical tofu fare. YUM!! My husband is a sucker for sweet and sour and got the combo plate. He showed a little more restraint that I did and only ate about half his dish. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant as the best Chinese food in Loveland and maybe even Fort Collins. Well worth the trip every time. read more

The food is great here and we've been many times. Sitting at the hibachi table with other parties is always fun to watch the show put on by the chef. I'm getting better at catching shrimp in my mouth instead of it bouncing off my forehead. :) But, the last time the three of us were there we were shocked by the bill. I added a generous 20% tip, plus gave some cash to the hibachi chef, as we usually do. Then, I noticed in small print several lines above the giant font for "Tip" that the owner had already included a 19% tip. Now, I've heard of an automatic gratuity being added for large groups, but three of us? So, it got worse when I pointed out to the owner what had been done. He asked me if I had wanted to add more tip, as if he didn't understand. Then, he berated me in Chinese to his assistants. Finally, I was able to get him to create a new bill after much arguing on my part and grumbling on his part. Still, I tipped 15% only because it wasn't the fault of the servers. We may go back, but I will definitely closely check the bill. You should do the same. read more

The cook was friendly and showed off his skills which were impressive and our table had nothing but smiles and cheers. My steak was cooked perfectly. Kids teriyaki chicken was good. And the salmon and shrimp was good too according to family. As I do not eat sea food. Place was big and very open, also seemed clean. They were out of paper towels in men's restroom but I'm sure they got to it. Overall prices are tad high but you get a lot of food and the cooking show. Been going here for some time, always enjoyed the food. Today I was a little disappointed. The prices have gone up considerably, but who's hasn't? The portions about the same, but noticed the egg rolls half the size as I am used to. The server was pleasant and polite. one of our orders was late getting to the table and server apologized for that. We ordered hot tea, but we never received it. What was most disappointing was how grungy the plates and bowls were. There was a build up of dull grime like you get around a greasy stove after a year or so If you don't clean, yuck. I really didn't want to eat from my dishes so asked for a to go container to eat from and received a to go for soup, not too helpful. I was trying not to show how disappointed I was. I could actually scrape off the grunge from the dishes with my fork. Wondering how clean the kitchen is, or maybe I shouldn't. Solution to grimy dishes, they need to scrub them and use a longer dishwasher setting. The dishes should come out sparkling clean before serving any customers. read more

Great food, service was horrendous. Seriously the worst service I've had in all of loveland. The waitress refused to walk around the table, leaned over me and hit me in the face and side of the head twice to hand out things throughout the meal. Then when it came time to pay we were overcharged. I went to check the menu price and noticed they had stickers that said the price we were charged in SOME of the menus but not all. When we brought it to their attention they pretty much said not our problem, deal with it. My family members are not willing to be treated so poorly again so we will not ever be returning for dine in and will be informing anyone who asks about the place about the awful service. read more

We walked in and we were greeted with smiles and they set us down and got us water right away. Our waiter was exceptionally nice and talk to us explaining the menu. We placed our order and we got our appetizer pretty quick and it was delicious we got crab puffs and I highly recommend those. My husband and I ordered orange chicken and it was probably some of the best orange chicken we have ever had with delicious orange pieces and cherries. The flavor was outstanding.
