As per the Canton Phoenix/Red Room KARAOKE lounge. Full menu until close which is 12 midnight Sun-Thurs and 2:30A.M. Fri&Sat. I have returned several times to this place after I discovered it. I would say that the food is also very very fresh and excellent produce is selected and used. Everything is always fresh and hot. Hot and sour soup is always my fav and I could eat it everyday!! Service remains excellent. Bartenders know how to pour a properly balanced mixed drink. If one checks with web often they may come across a great coupon deal. Still a great night for a one stop shop for your whole night out. Eat great Asian food, sing karaoke in a huge room with a large stage, great sound system, lights, and a dance floor! They have a pool table. They have added some lottery machines now. Still the best place in the Portland metro area to sing the night way. KJ David A, an ULTRA talented vocalist himself is the best KJ in the Portland Metro Area. Friendly and very professional and knows how to run a great night. KJ David A knows how to balance sound correctly and how to manage a crowd. He knows how to effectively deal with unruly patrons that step up to the mic and knows how to rotate singers so they get several chances at the mic a night. We ordered delivery, based on the reviews here plus a coupon from Yelp. We got TONS of food for what ended up costing $25, Free delivery. The food was awesome. All fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The woman who took my order (and delivered it) was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll have leftovers for a while. I will never eat at this restaurant again. My family and I have ordered take out from there several times. Tonight they brought us soggy food that was not fresh and was soaked with an excess amount of breading. The food did not taste fresh. After eating a small amount my children, my wife and I felt disgusted, bloated and dissatisfied. I called explained the situation to the manager and he agreed to refund are money. Instead the driver brings back half. When we called he again he refused to make it right. They have lost a customer. Authentic Chinese food like ones' found in Chinatown. Not like mainstream Chinese/American food. If you like the real thing try this restaurant. This is the best and authentic chinese food in all of Portland!!! My hubby and I came from California, which like New York, is the mecca of world cuisine, so believe us when we say this place is excellent chinese food. had a groupon coupon and I ordered pan fried dumplings. They were tasteless,. No seasoning garlic or ginger inside the wontons. Server seem annoyed that I wouldn't give hear the whole order at once.I did not even use all of the credit I had with the groupon. Canton Phoenix in Tigard was suggested to me by a friend who lives near it who said there was no other good Chinese restaurants in that area. OK then, even though I live quite a bit aways in SE Portland, I wanted to check the place out. When we got inside, there was a big handwritten sign board at the front of the dining room that had all their "specials" listed in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese. I am Chinese-American so I knew many of these items were indeed "authentic" (my family made things like these at home when I was growing up). However, I was still able find plenty of things I liked in their HUGE "regular" menu. We ordered Sizzling Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, Curry Chicken with Potato, Dry Sautéed Stringbeans, and Normy Gai. The sizzling chicken item came out sizzling in its metal serving tray (although it was a quiet sizzle) and had the wonderful Asian black bean sauce flavor that I really like. I really enjoyed the curry chicken dish because I like its Chinese-style yellow curry better than the Thai-style yellow curries at Thai restaurants. I prefer the Chinese-style curry's mellower flavor and thicker gravy-like consistency. The stringbeans were cooked just right, with the perfect amount of crispness. My friend and I were so full from eating those first three items, we didn't get around to having any of the Normy Gai (which is sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and steamed. . .similar to a tamale). I took the two intact Normy Gai "tamales" home, and they'll be a great treat for the next day. The whole meal was enjoyable, and the flavors were what I was hoping for. Also, customers over age 65 get a 10% discount, and I happen to be in that age category. . .so that was an extra bonus. Really, if Canton Phoenix wasn't so far from where I live, I would probably go there regularly. read more

I used to live near this restaurant. We loved the karoake in the bar, and the great fast delivery from usually two younger guys for several years. They have the best american chinese food cantonese and dim sum in the pdx metro suburbs. Last week i called at 830 for delivery. I had moved, but the lady assured me i was still in their delivery area. Said it would be an hour. No problem, it was a saturday. An hour and 45 min later, and 3 phone calls from a lady that couldnt understand me (language barrier) saying she was having trouble finding my apt. I then had to meet her in the parking lot as she called me at the apt entrance, and i had to guide her through the complex. She then told me "too late, too far" "i am from portland, dont know out here", then asks me if she turn out the next driveway, which i proceeded to then give her directions after being pretty fed up. I gave her a $2.00 tip on my bill to which she just said "uh huh", no thank you when i said thank you. My food was now lukewarm. Fried shrimp cold, bbq pork got rubbery. Thats the issue- theyre food is still great- but not cold. Not after being treated like its your fault she doesnt know how to use a gps in an unfamiliar area thats still within 10 min of the restaurant. Because i used to go here all the time, and get takeout and delivery, this woman used to only be in their dining room as a hostess and server. Im assuming she is part of the owning family. She delivered once to my old address in last year before i moved. She is not friendly. Dont use grandma as your driver, especially if she doesnt know the area. I will no longer order food from here after 7 years. Its a shame. But service speaks volumes. read more

Pleasant surprise! Dim sum was quite good, even for dinner. Highlights were the beef tripe, bbq pork bun and taro balls. As for entrees, oysters tasted very fresh and were well done steamed. Salt and pepper shrimp wasn't bad. Pan-friend house noodles were good as well. read more

If you like porridge, this place has big bowls of them for a decent price! The fried rice is pretty good too. The dim sum can be improved, but I didn't get a chance to try all of them, so I can't say for sure. The food that I did have was excellent! We went here because of the Yelp deal. SO YUMMY! Everything we ordered was great! My extremely picky 7 year old couldn't get enough of there Chicken Lo Mein. The majority of the staff wasn't friendly. Just one of the women servers was nice. Ordered pot stickers as an appetizer and they were room temp to cold. Big portions are served. The combination meals are the best value. We were confused by the combination meals on the menu but you actually get all of the items listed. The fried shrimp and other fried battered items that we got were bland. Hot tea is served immediately, which is very nice. Receipt was written only in Chinese so we had no idea what we were charged for, by our calculation it was close to what we expected to pay. Regular meals do not come with soup or an egg roll or anything extra. This is something we are used to getting at other Chinese restaurants, so that was disappointing.
