Great little Chinese food take-out. Very quick service, large portions and perfectly cook food. I recommend egg foo young. Very unique. They steam a whole pie pan of eggs with filling and serve it with a mild, traditional gravy with little bit of carrots and peas. Big, fluffy, and delicious. Enough for a couple of people. read more

This restaurant serves really good food with huge portions. I don't know how they can even profit because their prices are so reasonable and each portion is big enough to feed two very hungry people. Love this little hidden pink gem located on Park Row in South Salinas near the Bagel Corner. They have great weekly lunch specials two people can share a plate as they serve Large servings. My favorite lunch combo is the noodles with kung pao shrimp. They are also one of the few restaurants open late in the area. Go give it a try!!! read more

Been going here for 14 years off and on. Since Golden Star was sold this has been our choice. The food is really good and the portions are large. Very consistent. Great chow mein. Beef is tender. Hot and sour soup is tasty and hearty. My only complaint, which is not a show stopper, is that the spicy items are not that spicy. Simply add chilly paste fixes that. Service is excellent. This little hole in the wall is a perfect 40 year old gem. The cooks are a husband and wide duo and owners very hard working couple and take pride in their food it definitely shows! The orange chicken was amazing also the prices were great I had the egg flour soup on the lunch special board for 2 dollars, very flavorful!
