Dr Shah deserves all the 5s, by far the best doctor out there but his scheduler associate Terry needs better training with her customer service. She offered me no options, very transactional, impatient, and putting the blame on me because I couldn't afford my surgery. After getting frustrated with her on the phone, I just simply canceled my appoinment instead of dealing with her unapologetic attitude and her incompetence. Terrible service!! The fact the facility associate where my surgery would have taken place, had way better customer service than Terry, speak volumes. The facility associate called me be back after canceling my appointment to offer care options and any payment arrangements. Even though it was after the fact I had already canceled my appoinment. Also, Terry literally called me back to LVM, not to apologize but to defend herself rather. I'm not sure if this was prompted by her voluntarily or Dr Shahs office but completely unprofessional. I would recommend Dr Shah if you have no other options but if you can avoid dealing with Terry, I think any surgeries or any other procedures will go smoothly. read more

This is an excellent place to go for ear/nosr/throat problems. I needed my ears cleaned out because I was literally deaf in one of them and the doctor got them cleaned out and good as new in less then 5 minutes! So I went there to get much needed help. Weeks Before going to my appointment, i spoke with the office manager to make sure the ENT Doctor would be able to take my case and help me. She said she confirmed with him and staff that he would be able to help me with my care. When i arrived. I waited an hour past my appointment time to be seen. When i finally spoke with the doctor. He immediately just said my nasal issues are too complex for him to deal with, and to go see another doctor. I plead for help, as this is ruining my life, but he refused. I wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible front desk people and the worst doctor I have ever seen my entire life. Front desk would talk to you as if they are doing a favor to you. Every word they utter you would think why you had to come here. Wait time is so long it would make you think why there is an appointment. This is especially when there is literally no one in the office other than you. After such a long wait you see the doctor and you feel more depressed because the doctor absolutely has no empathy. He would just listen with a straight face and no expression. We went there with a swollen tonsils problem for our little one and we came out of the office more worried with absolutely no idea on how we make the poor little guy feel better. The billing is fraud. You would get few hundred dollars bill for nothing. I suspect if the doctor has real degree or if it's a fake one. ABC Arizona had a sting operation and caught a fake dentist recently. I hope they do something similar here and see if they find anything. Your little ones are too precious to go here. We've been seeing Dr. Shah for my daughter's sinus issues for about a year and a half now. From the beginning, he's been a wonderful doctor. Dr. Shah takes ample time with us during appointments, he's good with my teenager, and he solved some major issues she had. His office staff is great, too, and the office is new, clean, and safe. read more

Doctors use to make house calls. Today, most doctors feel that they are better then an average Joe. If you have a question, no one will return your call or even give you time of the day. I consider Canyon Sky ENT to be in the category who will not give you time of the day. After two visits, I have concluded that this place of business is not for me. You are considered a helpless patient and not a client. If you are looking for a long term relationship with a doctor, find another ENT. read more

Dr. Shah is ABSOLUTELY the BEST ENT around. He is very kind, patient and he truly cares for his patients. Dr. Shah is my hero! HE saved my life - literally! Another ENT damaged an artery in my sinus, causing an Arterial Bleed. I didn't know right away, I found out 24 hrs later when my nose began to bleed uncontrollably, from both nostrils and mouth. The Dr that caused the damage would not see me, his staff told me to go to an ER if I thought the nose bleed was serious. It was SERIOUS!!! I expected this Dr to help me, not pawn me off on someone else. Lucky for me, a co-worker knew Dr. Shah, contacted him and he saw me immediately. It took a while to stop the bleeding because he couldn't figure out right away where it was coming from, it was high in the sinus, not easy to get to. Dr Shah stayed calm, he assured me he would get it under control - he did, totally easing my fear. I was scheduled for surgery a few days later. In the mean-time, my face was packed to stop the bleeding. To be safe, Dr. Shah planned for a possible emergency surgery, should I start to bleed again. I was at ease, knowing I could contact him if any issues came up. Thank God & Dr. Shah! I made it to the surgery date, no issues in between and he was able to fix the artery that was causing everything. I am extremely grateful to him and his staff. I don't live anywhere near his office, but I would drive across the country if I needed to see him. He truly is an Angel in my eyes. Thank you Dr. Shah!! read more

Dr. of Audiology Kristina Garza provides false hearing tests to patients just to sell them hearing aids, she performed a hearing test on me and her results advised Dr. Shah that I needed hearing aids, I was advised by my Primary Doctor to receive a second opinion and after doing so I'm not a candidate at this time for hearing aids, very disappointing for us Seniors that have faith in professionals to act in our best interests and profit from them, I sure hope her grandparents don't get caught in her web!!! read more

Dr Shah helped remove a Salivary Gland stone that was causing significant pain and swelling in my jaw. Originally it was expected to require extensive surgery but he spent some extra time in his office examining me and was able to manipulate and extract it with an outpatient procedure, saving me much time, hundreds of $$, and surgery complication risks. I was having trouble finding an ENT and through researching, I found Dr. Shah. My tonsils were swelling badly, so I knew I'd have to get them removed, but then found out I was pregnant and with misunderstanding from my OBGYN, I thought I'd have to cancel my appointment, so I did. However, my tonsils again became super swollen and I had to reschedule and they got me in right away, instead of making me wait another month. When arriving, the staff were super nice! I got into the room before my actual appointment time and out quickly with all the information I needed. I definitely picked a great specialist and will recommend to anyone!! I went to this office for a bad case of tinnitus after getting MRI, audiology test. Don't go there expecting any help with this issue. Dr. Shaw showed no interest in my condition and when I gave him information which should have been helpful. He just told me there was nothing he could do for me. A complete waste of time. read more

While I found Dr. Shah to be personable and competent, I am not pleased with both the cost of my visit, nor his attempts to get even more money from me. I have insurance, but still do not like when I feel doctors charge more because I have insurance. Received my bill (my insurance has not had time to process it) and was shocked to see the Total of $737.05: 200.00-office visit, 417.00 to cauterize one nostril for a nosebleed, and 120.00 to remove ear wax from one ear. I understand he is a specialist, so prices are higher, but here is what really disturbs me: he wanted me to come back in a week to check my nose. As we were chatting, I asked if that visit would be necessary assuming the bleeding was under control? He said the additional visit was not a necessity. Then he said that since we had time (this was after the cauterization, so I suspect you need to wait a bit to make sure everything is okay) he had seen a buildup of ear wax in my left ear that he could remove. Mentioned he was planning to have me come back to have that done, but we had time now. Long story short, if I had scheduled an additional appointment, he would have received another $200 for the office visit, the ear wax cleaning, and whatever it costs to check my nose. I have just started with Medicare, which he apparently does not think much of because he referred to non-Medicare insurance as "real insurance." I decided to do this review because I chose him for his several 5 star reviews, and this is not my experience. Thank you for your time. read more
