Parking-Terrible, you must park in the hotel parking lot, no street parking and local businesses say "No Persy's Parking". If the weather is bad, park as close to one of two hotel entrances and walk through the hotel. Atmosphere- was obviously a "Bar and Grill" for the attached hotel. The bar is still there but is now the check-in counter with the rest used as haphazard storage, bit of an unpleasant eyesore when you walk in. No decor to speak of, cleanliness was ok. Overall it was just a boring room. Service- The restaurant was empty, only 1 booth with two people were there. Two signs at the counter, one said "Wait here to be seated", the other said "Please Seat Yourself". After a 12 minute wait (we were the only people waiting) the waitress tells us to sit anywhere as long as it was in 1 of 2 booths. Other than the wait to be seated the server was very nice and professional. Food- known for their Hash, I had one of their hash omelettes and it was good and I enjoyed it. Was it "being known for" delicious? No. But I'd certainly have it again! Breakfast potatoes were delicious!! Overall- Not what I expected, not a solid 3 star experience. I love this place. It doesn't matter the location! The food is served hot, the coffee is always delicious. Seems like they always need help for seating or cashing out. I have noticed that people leave because they are not acknowledged. However, the staff are always friendly and many know the history. The cornbread is a nice treat, if you have room for it! I stayed at the Inn at the Square and I had breakfast there the day before and it was really nice. Service was good. Food was good enough today was horrible. I walked in and the place was busy. There were several empty tables and the bus boy was standing talking to the cashier, not even an inkling of cleaning off the table !!! I went up to them and I said could you clean that table over there for me because I'd like to sit and have breakfast What an attitude!!! And I sat there for at least 10 or 15 minutes people passing by with coffee and water didn't even acknowledge my existence. Finally, one of the waitresses said I'll be with you in a minute. That was good..she came back and took my order, but they were all talking in a huddle like they were talking about me. I was very uncomfortable so I canceled my order, paid for my coffee and left. Somebody needs to take charge in there. You can't have people standing around with their thumbs up there you know where, while people are sitting there unattended to. I can't even tell you how many of the other waitresses passing by with coffee could've offered me some and didn't!. I had my cup turned up, which indicates that you wanna have coffee... just oblivious I'm only giving three stars because the service and the food was OK the day before but today was a horror! Sorry to even have to write this review but it hurt me so I'm sitting somewhere else now having breakfast and again they're very busy and the waitress didn't get to me as fast as I would wanted because they were busy. Staying in a place that has no kitchen facilities and doesn't offer breakfast, and i had some work to do so i thought i'd order in. There weren't many good "average" reviews so i picked this place because of the many food options! I especially liked the wet scramble option as many times eggs are just overcooked and dry. This scramble was cooked perfectly. The turkey bacon also was cooked right and there was a hash brown patty which was browned outside but a bit raw in the middle. Yet... it was all COLD when it arrived, even the coffee. It all looked amazing but to offer delivery and not to plan for it with some kind of insulating containers?? I was VERY UNIMPRESSED. My eggs benedict were really not very good. There was very little sauce, maybe 1.5 T for both sides (and charge extra if you want more) Also, I found a 2x4 in piece of plastic wrap in between the layers! I will say that the home fries were actually quite delicious. Everything else we had was "ok". I would not go back here unless I needed to bc of convenience factor. Scrambled eggs were ok, pancake & French toast not too bad, so maybe get that. Definitely don't get the eggs benedict though. read more

They had a huge array of choices for the hungry diner, and are conveniently located within the Inn on the Square, not far from the Shining Sea bike path and historic downtown Falmouth. Recently, they have started expanding their menu back to its original size. Before COVID, service was generally inattentive, and the dining room tended to be grimy. However, after COVID, the service is excellent. The dining room has been cleaned up. The fish cake Benedict was surprisingly good. They make a limited number of fish cakes for the day. They are baked, not fried. Their Hurricane omelet varies seasonally. It's a delicious blend of mushrooms, broccoli and red bell peppers, with a grilled tomato. The hash browns tend to be dry. Be sure to ask for ketchup and/or hot sauce. Persys is a reliable Cape Cod institution. They were founded all the way back in 1982. The dining room in Falmouth looks like it's from the 80s. I wish i could give this place a 2.5 stars. i want to say that our waitress was rude as ever! she made it seem like every thing we asked her for was a big deal. let's talk about her placing the bill on our table without knowing if we wanted to order more food or not. we did plan on ordering more but since she wanted to do that we went else where. i got the french toast platter. the bacon was perfectly crispy the eggs weren't bad and the french toast tasted bland. had to add more cinnamon for a little more taste. read more

My experience: Not overwhelming service, no refill on coffee though it's advertised bottomless. Pet peeve- don't make the customer ask for a refill. Not real busy when I was in at 8 am. When the bill came I asked for a second cup to go, and was charged extra for it . No big deal, but...Servers complaining a lot about management and how they like to do everything, need to hire 1 more person, and using curse words liberally like nobody is listening. It's hard not to when they are gathered less than 10 feet away. Maybe I should have asked to move. If I was on the other side of the dining room I likely wouldn't have been bothered. Eh...it's your typical outdated breakfast place with sticky tables and undrinkable coffee. Some things are good (beef hash, eggs benny), soMe are just awful - pancakes are the worst I've ever had (all you taste is flour and baking powder). Visiting Falmouth for the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by this diner. Having never eaten corned beef hash I felt compelled to give it a try - I literally cleaned my plate. The waitress suggested adding hash browns as well, which was appreciated and complemented the eggs and tasty corned beef (salty, brisket type meat). I strongly recommend the grilled cornbread and raisin French Toast too. Soooo amazing. My friend ordered an omelette and seemed to equally enjoy his meal! read more

12:30 Sunday afternoon. No lines. We've been to a lot of Perceys restaurant's and sadly all there building's need work. The back of my booth is broken and when ever the person in back of me move it shifts about 3"'s in to me, i asked our server (nice guy) if he could seat ppl in another table but he did anyways. You cant tell me they don't know about the booth with a broken back rest. The food was great as well as the service. Would like to have given 5 stars otherwise. read more

The outside seating area is very enticing and on a hot summer day, it is a great place to watch the beachgoing traffic scramble (ha!) by. I was surprised, however, by how run down the inside looked. Definitely felt like Denny's with a name change. On the menu it says that they aren't a chain, though they do have multiple locations. This makes me believe that their eggs aren't coming out of a carton, but again, not as quaint as I had expected based on the exterior. The half-order of eggs benedict that I had was tasty but the pancake was not great quality. Kind of reminded me of the pancakes you can get in the frozen food section. I wouldn't recommend it but maybe it is a good option for families with kids who don't need something beyond basic diner food. read more

I agreed to come here after i learned they have 9 locations, that means they just be doing something right, right? We came and I ordered a breakfast with unlimited eggs, came with two sides so I got the fried corn bread which was to die for and a hash brown. I can say that I was eating a real shredded potato. I've gone places and have seen potatoes from a box that you cook and I'm like uhhh! So this place does have good quality stuff but the mishap came when we ordered huevos rancheros and it came out like a wet quesadilla. This was of no fault of the servers so we graciously sent it back and she just ate the two sides it came with. My endless eggs would have been a joke had I not found my server. Our service wasn't bad but it wasn't that great. They seemed like they were doing side work instead of checking in on us. So I like i said I had to get up and find her to tell her to fire me a few more eggs. Our server didn't have the kindest demeanor but I take it that it's just a New England thing, maybe nothing personal. I dont recall her ever smiling at us, not that it's part of her job requirement or anything. But it would just feel nice to feel welcomed and wanted at a place of business. There were two servers and it was slow so I expected a little bit more attention but hey. She gave us a coupon for a free load of corn bread if we came back. The fact that it took 20 minutes of repeatedly being told my takeout order was on the way, they are wrapping it up now, etc. only to find out that the order had been canceled because the items ordered are not on their menu, even though they are on their online menu is unacceptable. read more
