I don't know…read morewhen things changed but I started noticing that a simple oil change could start costing hundreds. When I took a good look at the charges, I started noticing "extras" like additives and other additions that we should at least be asked about before charging us. This is the classic dealer charging you more than you need resulting in hundreds of extra dollars for them. The end came when I saw that they charged another customer thousands of dollars of "scheduled maintenance" that was clearly done too early. Does Acura of America care? NO. I reported this and yes they did respond but with a boilerplate response - generic and unconvincing. You can get your car from them, but be careful and know everything before you go and if you service there, look over everything with a fine toothed comb. YES OF COURSE it's the owner's fault when overcharged but IMO, you should not have to do this if you trust your dealership. There is not much trust left here.

It was almost done when you called yesterday. I asked her, if it was almost done why didn't we get a call back relaying that? She said we close at 5:00. We wait around another 10 minutes for her to looked at the computer and than for my keys (I also had to tell her where my keys were on the key rack) about this time it's almost 1200 after she gives me the keys walks me over to my vehicle she asks mechanic about it. apparently they didn't even touch the car at all! she lied about service being done the day before!! and then they're gonna give us our vehicle back without even having work done. The mechanic said he can work on it but it's gonna take a few hours at and that they were gonna close at 1:00. Side note: While we were waiting around for the paperwork and the keys, another lady was snapping that her car hasn't been taken care of in months that every time she comes in it's reschedule reschedule reschedule and she's tired of being rescheduled and tired of waiting around for months and months for her car to be taken care of.

While I was at Honda, Kiet text me that he spoke with his manager and they will agree to my number. I was happy but frustrated because they didn't hear me when I said I don't have time to waste. So I left Honda to extend my rental car another day. Since we wasted so much time, I took my son to grab a late lunch before purchasing the car. After lunch I had the clarity of mind that since I extended my car rental; that I don't have to rush now since I had already rescheduled my viewings with my real estate agent. It was a blessing in disguise because I ended up going to a few more dealerships and landed at Jerry V's just down the street. I told them the same thing I told Kiet. I don't have time, and I asked, if you can give me this SUV for this price out the door, I will buy it right now. The manager came out to speak to me directly and asked if I had any wiggle room. I said no. As a result, I was able to buy my son a brand new 2026 Santa Fe with black leather interior for the same price cash out the door for what I would have paid for on the 2025 Sorento. So lesson for all, not every set back is a bad thing. Kiet is a good salesman as he does follow up, he just needs to work on his listening skills and understanding exactly what a customer needs.

Economy Rent A Car and A1-Auto Sales are together and is located over a mile outside Daniel K. Inouye International Airport so you'll need to locate the Economy shuttle van to transport you here. Staff: Upon arrival, the lady employee was nice. Vehicle: We'd thought we have a nicer van for rental. We then received this 2014 Nissan Quest. This van has definitely seen better days. The vehicle was dirty and not well maintained. The transmission was slipping and It had the low-tire pressure system pop up and I've informed the employee to have a mechanic fill the tire up. The rear view mirror fell off and we had to reconnect it. The vehicle may have been bought from an auction and they're selling the vehicle online. Verdict: Arriving at Honolulu and straight to this rental was a bad experience. Vehicle was out of shape and location was horrible. Only bright side was the employee who helped us, she was very nice.
