    "Engine oil leak recurrence after repair

    Total Lemon. My 2024 Kia Carnival failed repairs 3 times and spent 31 days in the shop. Despite meeting Hawaii Lemon Law criteria, Kia America refuses to take responsibility. As a local tour guide, this has ruined my livelihood. See the full evidence here Www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc18j-uzM2E

    TLDR: Kiet was good. There was a $500 tracker that was not mentioned while negotiating on the car. Email took over a day to get a reply for a follow up question. I would probably go to them again. Kiet helped my husband earlier in the day. My husband said the sales person was patient and not too pushy. Later, I went down to the Aloha KIA pre-owned lot and was able to speak with Kiet after a wait (he was with another customer). I was transparent with Kiet, he was transparent with me, I felt like we understood where we were both coming from. We had another car being serviced that we were willing to trade in, so Kiet and I went to the next door lot so he could assess the trade in value. I appreciated that he was upfront that the car I was buying did not come with a spare. As far as what happened, we decided to get the car. I disliked that emailing a day later to confirm the name of something took an extra day to get back to me. I also disliked that they were not transparent about a $500 tracking system that comes with the car. That was quite rude and annoying.

    Late post but feel you all need to know the kind of experience I have had with ALOHA KIA. NO STARS FOR REVIEW. On Jan 28th 2025 my 2016 KIA SEDONA was towed to ALOHA KIA NIMITZ. My vehicle stalled on me MID WAY on the freeway heading home, my check engine light came on and vehicle started to desilorate, I pressed on the gas nothing it just was stalling i had to pull my vehicle over, They couldn't look at my vehicle for two weeks they said they're back up or I get a no technician to look at it. When the technical looked at it my starter was faulty and needed my fuel injector replacement because that to was faulty. My fuel injector was on back order for about 2-3m so they couldn't fix my vehicle until that part comes in. I also ask them to look at my cooling fan because it will stay on and kill the battery on my vehicle. I told the technical prior to this issue when I brought my vehicle in and spent 800 something dollars on the coolant hose replacement but the issue wasn't resolved. They finally fixed that problem when fixing that problem they found another issue with my ac tension belt lose as well. I asked for an update and this what I get. May 24th: Sorry Paisi. It's been a hectic week. I'm loosing my mind... As for your vehicle. Technician had started working on it from Thursday and he will returning on Memorial day to finish up. Vehicle will be ready for pick up on Tuesday. I'm still working on the final numbers. The math is not mathing, I need to talk with parts dept when they return on Tuesday to work out the final numbers. On Tue May 28th I went to see if my vehicle was ready for pick up, when I got there the JACKSON he is the service manager told me I need to purchase a tire my sales advisor didn't tell me that. So I told JACK yes I'll get the tire, he told me it will take 30m but instead it took 4hrs because my tire was at ALOHA KIA WAIPAHU, also the plastic on the right side by the tire and under the front of my vehicle was hanging they didn't put the pins back in so I told them about that a tech fixed it and paid a little over $500 take my vehicle home my left blinker was going crazy though my light was out so ill fix it but the technician didnt plug WIRE IN. The next day I noticed on the left side in the front of my vehicle the plastic is hanging they didnt put the pins in. I opened the hood to find my cover that covers my RADATOR MISSING it was all there when I had the car towed into ALOHA KIA NIMITZ. So attached are photos of the cover missing and the plug unplugged I plugged it in myself, and the right front plastic hanging oh and found screws under the hood, also by the windshield whipers. By far the worst experience I have had at aloha KIA like the service department rushed my vehicle when parts came in. This is unacceptable. I picked my vehicle up on May 28th 2025 I found all these problems when after I picked my vehicle up. ALOHA KIA THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER WILL I BUY A VEHICLE FROM YOU FOLKS.

Economy Rent A Car and A1-Auto Sales are together and is located over a mile outside Daniel K. Inouye International Airport so you'll need to locate the Economy shuttle van to transport you here. Staff: Upon arrival, the lady employee was nice. Vehicle: We'd thought we have a nicer van for rental. We then received this 2014 Nissan Quest. This van has definitely seen better days. The vehicle was dirty and not well maintained. The transmission was slipping and It had the low-tire pressure system pop up and I've informed the employee to have a mechanic fill the tire up. The rear view mirror fell off and we had to reconnect it. The vehicle may have been bought from an auction and they're selling the vehicle online. Verdict: Arriving at Honolulu and straight to this rental was a bad experience. Vehicle was out of shape and location was horrible. Only bright side was the employee who helped us, she was very nice.

You go to rental transpo, the car rental shuttle driver will tell you, they have never heard of this company.... --- clue 1 your walk to the offsite shuttle will take you to "pre-arranged 4" and then to the center isle to wait for your shuttle. Which comes every 15-30 minutes. While you wait in the heat and humidity, you will be dreaming of an air conditioned shuttle. That will be dashed comely. As they pull up, in an unairconditioned van. ---- this is clue 2. In the van, the van drivers encourage conversations about politics! On vacation, with strangers. I wanted to throat punch my fellow passenger and driver by the end of the ride. It was already a long day, not, sweaty and uncomfortable physically and now this Bs? Let do something simple, like talk about the weather. And not open with are you republican or democrat....----- annoyed point 5 The sign by the driver. "Drivers only work for your tips, Venmo and Zelle accepted" ----- clue 3. A company that doesn't even pay its van drivers. Arrival to rental facilities. No ramp, not Ada compliant. Leave roller bags outside, as you go in to pick up your car...As a traveler, traveling along, this makes me feel total sketch. But, hey it's the local way. the lot is all gravel, so not easy to move those roller bags around. Inside, as you are away from your bags, and feeling vulnerable. You explain all the insurance you carry, yet none of them are "good enough". And the feeling that if you do not get "their" insurance, these fools will find anything to bill you for later. They even... take your phone and cancel the prepaid insurance you had. And all the documents are in a different same then the place you "rented" from online. I wonder why, oh cuz the fools have to keep changing their names to run from honest reviews and keep getting tourists to rent cars... clue 4-10 They bring you a car with 115k miles on it. No usb plugs, but a lovely cd player. And you think how the AF am I going to navigate if I cannot "see" or "hear" mapping instructions??? Don't worry they will upsell you in the lot from a 12 yr old car, to a 10yr old car "new car", which btw is not on the list inside when picking out the car... and try to charge you $30 more a day. Which still barely has modern car amenities. Then try to drive that piece of car... turns like a Mac truck, reds an oil change, was not cleaned out, sand on everything, no washer fluid. One highlight- the car looks local and I got waved thru a road where they would gave Gould a tourist to turn around. And maybe your car won't get broken into. This rental experience started wretched, and continued to be the top 5 most worst travel decisions I have ever made. Learn from me. Use real car rental companies. You'll save money, frustration and time in the end.

The vehicle has 58,000 miles and was sold to me "as-is." Shortly after purchasing the car, I began experiencing significant vibration during cold starts when the vehicle is placed in gear while stopped. This is not something I would expect from a properly inspected luxury vehicle at this mileage. What concerns me most is the lack of response. I have reached out multiple times to address the issue, but I have not received any reply. Even for an "as-is" vehicle, customers should expect transparency, basic roadworthiness, and communication when problems arise shortly after purchase. I am simply asking for accountability and a response. I will update this review if the dealership chooses to resolve the issue professionally.
