My only issue is that, as a Capital One cardholder myself, even a small snack like a doughnut costs about five dollars. I am liking these Capital One Cafes. They are giving Internet cafe vibes from the early 2000 minus although they don't offer you any computers or WiFi to rent, instead you have to bring your own. Today I stopped by because it was a bit chilly on this spring day in April and so I wanted to buy a Turmeric Ginger Latte, that I experienced from another location and feeling a bit hungry I also brought me a ham and cheese croissant. When ordering I was greeted by a lovely young man and he made a suggestion that I try the Iced cherry vanilla matcha drink because it was his favorite and I was interested in buying in buying it. Since he said the cold brew was better I decided instead to try it when the weather gets warmer. Today I wanted something hot. My latte again was so good, so warming, just a nice hug for my insides. The croissant was delicious. It was meaty, flaky, and had a touch of sweetness but with a taste of gourmet mustard. It was really good and I didn't expect that. I see the pricey tag of $10, was worth it. I would definitely recommend it. If you can find a table or a place to sit, you can get much needed work done if that's why you're there. My experience has shown me that most if not all had some kind of a laptop and a drink with them. It may be most people's work from home office space lol. I don't know if they have a time limit, but if you are a Capital One member you get better benefits, so I've been told. This place is very cool and well maintained. The staff are incredibly kind and courteous. My only note is that this place is VERY busy and a bit on the nosier side. If you're going there to work I recommend headphones with noise cancellation. If you're going there for a meeting consider the fact that it may take time to get a seat and isn't the quietest of places. read more

This particular experience has to do with the capital one bank which is a part of the cafe . I walked in here after entering a td bank and no one was at the customer service desk. If they were I would've been able to ask my question and leave . When I walked in capital one cafe/bank there were at least 4 agents at the door. One of them escorted me inside and began customer service. Unfortunately I don't have a account with capital one or my issue would've been solved. Besides Starbucks I found coffee shops a little scarce near the Columbus Circle shops. As per usual, the offerings at the cafes are decent and you can definitely get an affordable cup of coffee if you are are CC or Discover card holder. This location wasn't so busy for an early morning weekday but I'm sure midday is probably busy. I'd say if you're going in and out it's fine, but if you're looking to hang out or work from the cafe I'd reconsider. read more

I Love the Capital One Cafes'. The one in Lincoln Center and 59th St. are the best with bright light. It is busy, but you always can find a seat, it is perfect to work and the seats are comfortable. You also meet great people for meaningful conversation. The staff is very nice, they warmly greet every single customers! Which is incredible customer service. The cleaning person is hard working and kind and goes above and beyond to keep the busy cafe clean at all time as well as the bathrooms. The Security staff is "hard working". Absolutely favorite place to do work on a weekend. It's always pretty packed so you probably will have a hard time finding seating but if you're patient you're good to go. I stopped by Capital One Cafe for a coffee when I was in the city for a day a couple of weeks ago. The menu has everything you'd expect. I had a very decent cappuccino. It took a little bit of time, because they were pretty busy when I stopped by, but the service was good - very friendly. But what I really appreciated about the cafe? Its size and seating! It has ample seating and big windows. It was a great place to sit and read my book while I enjoyed my cappuccino. I've been waiting for this Capital One Cafe to open. I've walked past the other ones they have around NYC but have never been inside. This one is conveniently located near 59th St- Columbus Circle When you walk in you're immediately greeted by Capital One staff. If you continue to your left then you will see the cafe. It's beautiful with full glass windows the face the street and ample seating- tables/chairs, couches and bar seating. When I visited it was pretty busy and there weren't many seats available so I took my order to go. Their menu is similar to a typical cafe and includes drinks, pastries and light bites. Pricing seemed typical to other cafes. If you're a capital one card holder you get 50% off of specialty drinks which is a nice perk. I ordered the matcha latte which was delicious. This is such a big location with lots of things to do here. Renting rooms, seating space, the cafe and banking. I personally did not like it so much because the employees were really rude and back when MLB Mondays and this would be packed they weren't well prepared to deal with the masses of people. Came by here a few days ago because I had some time to kill between appointments and somehow I'd gotten an offer for a free beverage. Very nice space -- light, airy, reasonably quiet. The fellow behind the counter was really nice and he helped me figure out which drink to order (one of the espresso drinks). It was delicious, but I wouldn't have paid full price for it, since it wasn't very big. That's why I'm deducting one star -- the drinks are expensive! That said, you do get them for half-price if you use your Capital One card to pay, and I think that's a good deal. read more

The ice coffee here is so refined they call it a "flash brew" and charge 7 dollars for it and brew it with a machine that no one can fix. It's been down for more than a week and no one who works there knows when someone will come take a look at it. So when it's 90 degrees and you'd rather not drink hot coffee you can pay $9 for an iced Americano. The management forces the people who work there to greet and say goodbye to you when you enter and leave, but if they take 15 minutes to make your iced Americano, and you ask for a refund, the manager looks at you like you're being rude. They're having a promotion after all, at 8 in the morning when 80 percent of everyone is in a hurry. They have them 3 times a week maybe, which is great when you don't have to get your kids to school. The environment is sterile. Everything is overpriced but you can save big if you have a special corporate card. No thanks. read more

I walked in and was greeted by the fresh scent of the cafe and smell of delicious lattes from Verve Coffee. They have a variety of drinks, small bites, and pastries. What a great experience at this Capital One café location! I'm a card holder so all drinks are 50% off. I had a café au lait as well as a matcha lemonade. I also have an avocado toast which was great. I went with my friend who ate a scone and he said it was awesome. Excellent customer service. A nice place to come and chill with loved ones. Only issue is that THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD AND DISTRACTING. Most people are sipping a cuppa joe and working. It's tough to focus when there's a driving rhythm track that even your noise-cancelling headphones can't keep out. Fix that and this place is 5-star! read more
