I don't ever leave reviews but I feel like this one needs one! My family and I order pizza from this place quite often and it is by far the best in town!! Capone's pizza's staff is grade A+++! The reason I am giving a review is because we ordered pizzas form the slice app to have it delivered and upon receiving our order we found a small error to part of our order... After ordering from them 50+ times they have NEVER messed anything up so we weren't too upset, we understand that things happen. My fiancé and I decided to call just to let them know and when we did the lady that answered the phone looked up our order and immediately apologized and put me on a very brief hold to speak with her manager to notify him/her about the error. When she returned she let us know that they were going to remake our pizza and send it back free of charge!!! Wow!! A+++ I let them know that it was not necessary but she insisted on making the order right replying "we care about our customers." The staff then proceeded to make and deliver the corrected pizza in under 20 minutes! Again WOW!! They do get busy in the evenings and usually there is a decently long wait (totally worth the wait). So for the staff to push our order to the front of the line and get it to us so quickly so we could feed our hungry kiddos will keep us ordering from them as long as they are in business!!! DO NOT ORDER THIS PIZZA I called to order a pizza. I gave my address very clearly. It took about 10 minutes to place the order because the person on the phone was very new and had no idea how to take the order. She was very sweet and I don't blame her, it also sounded like it was loud in the restaurant. Five minutes after we hung up and four minutes after my credit card ran the transaction (charging me was the only thing she was able to do quickly). I got a call informing me that the delivery was out of range (it's 5 miles away). And when I asked why they couldn't have mentioned this when I gave them my address the lady literally hung up on me. I wasn't rude I wasn't confrontational I simply asked why they would go through that whole process and charge my card if they couldn't deliver. And she hung up. If you can't trust them to have a modicum of customer service then you can't trust them with the food you serve your family. I'm never going back and I'm spreading the word. My search for the best pizza place in Riverside continues, Capone sure ain't it! UPDATE I was so shocked by the profoundly unprofessional call and hangup that I called back to inform a manager. I read many of the reviews before I called this place and was sure someone with some responsibility there would be chagrined to learn of the juvenile antics of the night shift. Shockingly, the person who called WAS the manager. To add insult to injury, although she didn't have the energy to intelligently explain why they would accurately take my address and run my credit card without recognizing my address was literally 4 minutes outside their self-imposed radius, she did have the energy to take to yelp and leave a dishonest reply. All this in spite of all the imaginary business that supposedly made it impossible to hear the order, address, or credit card number they accurately recorded. There was zero screaming. I was literally holding a sleeping infant in my arm while I made both calls. There was no temper tantrum, there was just a man trying to feed his hungry family who cares about customer service and thought a manager might too. I've literally never been this disappointed in a business this quickly in my life. I was once so hungry that I ate cold half-cooked rice and raw squid off the floor with my bare hands. Who doesn't love cheesy gooey goodness? We moved to Riverside a little over two years ago and live right around the block from this little gem. I can't believe it's taken us this long to finally stop in and order a pie. We love our pizza and are a fan of a specific kind of crust and cheese and this place has it. Capone's offers whole pizza orders or pizza by the slice. We orders a large pepperoni with light sauce which is our usual. The wait was about 25 minutes which is perfectly fine for a beautifully made pizza pie. There are plenty of tables and TVs to hang out and dine in. Plus a nice bar for some beer pitchers if you want to enjoy. We ordered to go but had a nice mug while we waited and it hit the spot. When we got home and opened the box, we were happy to see the perfect pizza waiting for us. The dough and crust is nice and thick. It has the perfect crunch and holds up to the sauce and cheese perfectly. The cheese is the real deal and stretches from the slice to your mouth on each bite. The sauce is delicious and we would prob not get light sauce next time. Customer service was also great. Can't wait to be back and try other topping combos. Yum! read more

Capone's pizza is okay. It's not the best but not the worst either. I guess it's 10x better when you eat it there because when I got it, it was like warm and looked like the pizza you get in Jr high for lunch. Nice people, but the Chicago Pizza isn't a real Chicago crust. The overall flavor was a 6-7 out of 10. Maybe this is good for So Cal? At first they served with paper plates, surprising. I asked for a "real" plate and they brought me one. This is my first experience with Pizza in Riverside Ca.....not sure if this is good for the area... Ok, redoing review. I have been there a couple more times. Still, pizza good..service good. Chicago style pizza has some corn meal added, which this pizzeria doesn't use. They also won't add provolone. I hate leaving a bad review but our family of 4 didn't care for it. Our Greek salad was pretty good but the wings seemed microwaved and the large pizza we got was both burnt (on the bottom) and soggy on the top. They've been around a while so we expected more. Maybe they are just training new staff or have trouble with equipment but we just didn't enjoy it. Our teenager, for the first time ever, didn't want to take it home. Went in on a whim, looking for some Italian food and man I'm glad I did. It is a great, family run establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered the chicken fettuccini Alfredo, the chicken parm and, a veggie lasagna. All of it, was super tasty (I will be going back for the veggie lasagna for sure). I love Capone's. I've been coming here frequently with my partner for about two years. Besides all the memories we have invested in this place, the food is great. We always order the 12 piece wings with Fancy sauce (a concoction of ranch and buffalo sauce) with every order. By far this is my favorite place to get wings. They are a decent size and have just the right amount of sauce, and the right texture for me. The pizza is one of the best for me as well. It's not too greasy and their crust is always on point. Some other favorites of mine include the mozzarella sticks and the calzones. Prices can be a little high depending on what you order but if you're on a budget, definitely look into the daily deals. You get tasty food for a bargain price with these deals. Customer service is great too. Everyone is friendly and attentive. I don't know if I'm biased because of all the good memories I have made here with friends and my partner, but I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The side salad was, well a side salad with all the white tips of the lettuce. I ordered mozzarella sticks, and it tasted like it was old and deep fried again.
