This is a place that never disappoints! Pizza has a unique but amazing flavor that always has us coming back. Their fries are seasoned to perfection that have our kids asking for them every time. We always order their salads for us who are picky when it comes to salads are some of our favorites. The only downside is the dressings on the side, they are extremely stingy on the sides and it's very limited. Our dressing for the family salad was maybe enough to serve a personal salad and they charged us for more. We asked for marinara on the side and again was charged. The female servers are rude and have attitude, the male with glasses has poor customer service, and snarky remarks. They forgot plates (salad and fries) from our order and then when we asked about them, we still had to wait over 30 minutes (asking twice about the status), they said they were backed up and other orders came in before ours but we had to remind them they left the fries and salad out from our original order so technically our order was placed before others. It had been a while since the last time I sauntered into Capone's and after looking at the unique menu I made the choice to drive down. I order the Mama Mae with eggplant and it did not disappoint. The scratch made alfredo sauce, roasted red peppers and roasted garlic elevated the flavor to another level and then you're taste buds are flooded with the sweetness of the artichoke and that hint of earthiness from spinach and honey you've got a stellar slice of pizza. The crust was the perfect thickness but I would have preferred it to be a little more crispy. The interior was bee from that last time I had gone with a cozy little bar area and a large dining area. The decor needs some tlc but honestly that didn't deter me from truly enjoying the food. This pizza place is located just off of Van Buren and Arlington in Riverside in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Very clean inside with about 9 TV's throughout the seating area. It has a bar area as well. I've been here a few times and have received quick service without a long wait at all. This family owned business seems to provide quality service with reasonable prices. For some reason, they are closed on Tuesday, but otherwise open during the week. Certainly a good alternative to the standard name brand places nearby. Came in here for the first time the other night. I've passed by it more then a few times on my way to work. Walking in I was impressed by the size and openness of the seating area. Big screen TV's adorned the walls, arcade games were in their own corner away from the tables. Proceeding to the counter, we walked pass the bar and were pleasantly surprised with their beer selection. The pizza we ordered was the untouchable. For some reason our eyes were bigger then our stomach or we forgot basic measurements. There was only three of us and we ended up eating pizza for 3 days after. The toppings were generous, crust was good and it was over a tasty pizza. Nothing special but nothing plain about it. I was impressed that they offered vegan cheese (because I have vegan family members) so that was a plus. My only disappointment was the price. We ordered 2 beers, the 24" untouchable, a personal pizza for my daughter with a antipasto salad and spent $92! The girl at the front talked us into the untouchable because we had wanted a supreme, but I think that the pizza would have been less expensive if we had added our own toppings. First time ordering from here, my family ordered the biggest pizza for the party we participated for Father's day. I can't tell you how many times I've driven by and never thought it would be as awesome as it was inside! Did a pick up order for lunch, and when I got there food was hot and ready to-go! Did not order a pizza but got a Calzone - delicious and slight crunch but still spongy dough, perfect, just enough toppings and cheese. Sauce for calzone was on the side and had some good size tomato chunks, which i prefer, quite good. Kiddo got the chicken strips and fries - shocking. He loved them. Lastly we decided to go with the pastrami fries and what a great choice. Pastrami a bit fatty but that's what that cut of meat is. Pickles cheese and mustard on fries. Potatoes were good flavor and seasoning. I don't know what it is about pizza places and their fries, they just hit different. Leftovers next day - i ate calzone cold, still good. Wife had the pastrami fries - all gone. There are some video games inside for the kiddos. Looks like bar has tap and beer selections and wine. Parking is crowded right out front of Capones but their is lots of easy parking anywhere in the center. I'm sure after a pizza you could stand to walk +200ft to your car. I know i could.
