The restaurant was very clean. The dining area had nice comfortable tables/chairs. The service was slow. The chicken sandwich was overcooked and hard to chew. The sweet potato fries were burned. The veggie calzone presented well however the veggies inside were not cooked, raw. The tossed salad was excellent. The cashier offered a gift card after I explained my disappointment. I declined. Offers a very easy user friendly online ordering. When I arrived to the restaurant it was a typical pizza place and all tables were filled with 1 person in front of me so very busy little place. Looked clean and smelled really good inside from the food. I picked up my order containing a XL Pizza with XXtra pepperoni and an order of corn nuggets. The corn nuggets were great and they gave a big portion of them as well. The nuggets were cooked just right and very tasty but the pizza is another story. The pizza was huge which was awesome but when I took a bite it tasted like toast with sauce, cheese and pepperoni on top. The crust, sauce and cheese was very bland with the crust tasting just like bread with to much of a crunch. I wish the pepperoni was cooked a little longer where the edges would be crispy but it was like they were taken out of the package and just placed on top and then served. I would not recommend ordering a pizza. I am not sure if I would ever go back and try other food but just this experience was not good when it came to ordering their pizza for the first time. Fell in love with this place for their vegan options! But recently ordered almost 200$ worth of pizza and salad for a party and they didn't fulfill the order properly. The salad came with onions (requested no onions), we received creamy dressing when we asked for only oil based and a balsamic, and the biggest kicker was the "oh I didn't take your order I just fulfilled it" response from the guy who answered the phone. I called to let him know the two XL pizzas we ordered for the kids were not cut into 16 slices like we requested. I told him I had called to confirm not twice but three times, and he literally didn't care. His suggestion was to just cut the pizza. Have you ever cut cold pizza on cardboard? It doesn't cut! No masks and no gloves - they must not of heard or corona virus. A worker came out of the bathroom, saw me wearing a mask and gave me a "pssstt" in a shun full sort of way. Then went back to the kitchen, not wearing any gloves or mask. Pay for your order and worker just walked away in silence. No thank you or good day or anything. You have burned (black on the bottom) every pizza my house guests have purchased from you and I have even brought them back, only to be given a " hard time" from you rude staff. You remember me, right? I am not playing games. I told my house guests never to buy any pizza from you and stick with the subs, they did not listen and did it again and got the same burned pizza, since Kendall Pond Pizza was closed. I want to let you know that my dogs will eat your pizza along with anything else, including their own poop. To sum it all up, I do not recommend that anyone buy your pizza unless you want to feed it to your dogs. After two visits at different times on different days of the week, it seems like the servers are confused and inefficient. Workers write down the wrong orders for items, workers forget about orders sitting out ready to be handed to customers, and you end up waiting and waiting while they work out their cerebral shortcomings. The Italian subs are very good though, and the pizza is small and unimpressive. Place is clean, with lots of local sports team photos all over the walls. Tables are available but it seems to be a take-out kind of place for most customers. I'm writing this review as I sit and wait for our delivery order. I placed an order for 5 subs and 2 small pizzas 1 hour 25 minutes ago, and I am still waiting on the items to be delivered. I usually give places the benefit of the doubt; however, this is not the first time we had to experience ridiculously long delivery times. While the food is great. I find this place to have outrageous prices, and on top of the delivery times, it doesn't balance out. Horribly upsetting delivery today, screwed up on so many levels. I was lied to regarding 1) Availability of delivery drivers 2) Estimated time of delivery (Nearly half an hour late!) When the delivery guy got here, he forgot my 2 two liters of soda. Said that it would take 5 minutes to go back and get it and drive back, took like 3 times that amount of time. The place even lacks common sense. Delivery guy has 2 pizza orders. One that's like half an hour away, one a few minutes away, LITERALLY! Goes to the one half an hour away first, the guy handling new orders at the restaurant was clueless on the status of the delivery and doesn't understand the definition of "momentarily". Pizza was mediocre at best, poorly handled with some of the pizza still sticking to the box and not completely cooked. Looked like a rush job with the pizza as well as the order. Unreliable quality of pizza, unreliable delivery service, irresponsible drivers and irresponsible staff, just in general. I will never order from Capri Pizza in Windham ever, ever again.
