Better than Miami, good service, nice music and atmosphere. Everything you want. People very nice and food perfectly cooked

Update: tried their tres leches and it was one of the best I've had, literally soaking in tres leches as it should and with a unique meringue on top

Amazing food for a great value! First time trying Cuban food but certainly not the last. I'm a big fan of plaintains so I loved seeing it in chip form and then also cooked to perfection. Loved the sauces as well, so bright and vibrant.

This place is so good! I love their Yuca fries but I wish they gave more than 5!! We come to this spot a lot. Food is so good and tastes exactly as it should, however this visit was very oily. Not sure if maybe just a little too long in the oil but all of our plates were pretty greasy. Ambiance is neat and clean. Service is excellent!

Terrific service and wonderful Cuban dishes make for a great place! Fan fav Cubano is always a hit and we tried the fried fish plate: YUM - my picky daughter devoured it!

The best mango lemonade ever! We enjoyed all our food options and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich on gluten free bread and pork wrap with plantains and black beans.

Nice soft bred on the cuban. Excellent service. I love their jalapeno slaw. And I tried there the pastelito de guayaba y queso for the first time today. Guava and cream cheese pastries -- delicious. My second time here. From out of town. I wish i could come here more often. Worth going out of your way.

I always try to experiment with new places when I visit home and to my surprise, Denver has Cuban food. I went during mid afternoon during the week so it wasn't busy at all. The staff was attentive and quickly took my order. The tostones came out hot and flavored well. I also had a half Cuban with rice and beans. My favorite Cuban sandwich is from a shop in Ft Lauderdale but this is one of the better ones I've had. It was the perfect spot to get a bite and enjoy a little down time. Would love to visit again.

The interior is well designed and it was very empty when we went. Service was typical of a fast casual place. The food was flavored pretty well. The pan con bistec was good and has a good crunch, but was slightly dry. The vaca said it was a "skirt steak" so I assumed the texture would be slightly different. This is more of a pulled/stewed meat texture and it was both super dry AND extremely oil-ly. I did not like it. The flavor is there but texture is off and too much oil. The yucca fries also had lots of oil. The beans were decent, slightly sweet. Yucca fries have good flavor, breading was a bit much but decent.

You could tell it was gonna be good when it was lunch time and it was very busy. Cozy and chill Cuban vibes in this little spot. The food was so comforting and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations. They shine with the roasted pork which was so tender and juicy. The Vaca Frita was delicious, nice salty crust to the meat. The black beans were some of the best Cuban beans. A subtle sweetness to them. And the shoestring fries with a garlic mojo on top were superb. No ketchup needed. But dip in the garlic aioli or habanero aioli, which were both so yummy. Highly recommend this spot as the food hits!

Food and service are always great! Location is great with open window concept for bar seating outside. Had the Vaca Frita with Maduros this time which had amazing flavor and the steak was tender. Had had their sandwiches for lunch multiple times as well and am never disappointed. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and they have good happy hour deals too.

The food was good, service was okay (nothing spectacular). Everything was okay...Until we noticed A DOG at the table a few seats down from us. This dog was licking on the table, the owner was literally feeding the dog off a spoon. If they want to allow pets in the restaurant (yuck), at least require that they are on the floor!!! If I wanted to dine with dogs, I'd take my food to Petco!! I was beyond pissed to see that the staff ignored this dog being up at the table!!! It dimmed the whole experience and I will never return!! That's just gross!!!

The flat steak plate, it starts with a P. It was amazing.

My friends brought me here before dropping me off at the airport. This is the first time I've had Cuban food and....I'M IN LOVE. I loved trying my friends dishes and my flat steak and rice and cassava was amazing. The appetizer fries and mariquitas (sp?) Were amazing. Every time I visit Co, I am going to insist they bring me here again. Now I am.going to seek out Cuban food in Phx and hope it can compare! The waitstaff were friendly and helpful making suggestions and answering my questions. There was no wait to seat and the food came out rather quickly. Thanks guys!

They also had their AC blasting which helped cool us off from the heat outside. Our server was great and quickly took our order and received waters. Our appetizer came out pretty quickly and I do want to call out that the guac looked like it was sitting out for some time. Once our 3rd person arrived, we ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came out pretty quickly. The elderflower prickly pear drink was stellar and pretty strong! I would definitely come back just for that drink! Food tasted great! Tacos were seasoned well. I do wish they had spicier salsa options but that's just my preference. I also think the tacos should be doubled up with tortillas because they started falling apart and made it difficult to eat. I ended up just eating the inside of the tacos and left the tortilla. Overall though, nothing bad that would deter me from visiting again. It was a good experience! I would definitely return.

Three of us had driven from significant distances. Two were late, due to crazy snow. Our friend had made reservations for the high-top table IN THE BAR AREA. Upon arrival, the hostess DID mention to our organizer that the table was ours until 6. That sounded odd, but certainly they wouldn't expect us to leave if we're still eating and drinking, right? We were having a great time, and being gracious despite a few issues, like my friend getting a strangely colored margarita that tasted bad -- unlike her first, or any of the others in the entire restaurant. She explained and asked for it to be remade. Another girl brings it back again, making her re-explain. She begrudgingly took it back and replaced it. At 5:40, as people started bugging out, our snow-delayed friend arrived and our waitress took her food order, along with another friend's order for a pitcher of beer. They arrived quickly. At 5:50, we got a visit from manager Alex, asking us to wrap things up and leave. We were confused, and asked why this was necessary, since we were in the BAR section, had just been served food and beer, and people were leaving. Alex was not amenable to applying practicality to the situation. My friend who'd just been served her pitcher of beer asked which option she was supposed to exercise...pay for and leave her full pitcher, or slam it and then drive home to Boulder. Alex didn't like that, and reluctantly offered to comp the quesadilla and beer -- like it was some grand gesture. As we gathered our things, more customers left, leaving four seats open around the actual bar. EUREKA! We didn't have to leave! My friend and I sat in two, and two others sat across from us. We knew we'd find one more, and we did. Cool, right? Nope. Alex confronts me and says, I noticed you guys moved to the bar. (I thought I was being punked.) So I reply, "Yes, is there a problem with us taking available seats after having to leave our table?" He says something about us being rude. To which I said, "I'm not being rude. If you're referring to us talking amongst each other about how this situation was handled, we have the right to speak." He then informed us he was cutting us off. I wasn't one of the ones comped, and we weren't drunk. He just didn't like that we pushed back. He left, and seconds later, the drink I'd ordered before this "chat" was placed in front of me. When Alex saw it, he pulled bartender Hunter aside and had words with him. Which made matters worse, because Hunter is so kind, and he knew we were cool. Anyway, I happily sipped my drink, and we started watching the Avs. We weren't obnoxious, but it was loud, and since we were seated across the bar from each other, we needed to shout a bit. Around this time, we noticed the table we'd been forced to vacate was STILL EMPTY -- 20 minutes after being booted from it. The table right next to it? Also empty. A few minutes later, we noticed he'd moved some girls who'd been at the bar since our arrival TO OUR TABLE. Obviously to make it look like the party that wanted it had shown up. So I took a pic of that with my phone. And a video of how many seats and tables were open. Nobody knew what I was doing, or cared, except Alex, who'd been spying on us. He comes back AGAIN, suddenly claiming our "BEHAVIOR" is a problem. Despite us trying to reason with him about what this experience was like for us as customers, he tells us to leave. I have been kicked out of two bars in my life. Once justifiably at age 22, and again on this day, age 60. All because of a manager on a power trip. We ended up going to Mezcal four miles away where the food and the service were exemplary, and we were welcomed! Lady Nomada? Lady, No-thank-you. You can't defend a policy like that, take a food and drink order right before the time limit, take our table and then harass us for not liking it. There are too many cantinas out there to treat people this way.

Cons for this paragraph is the wait for the food is ridiculous. Why 45 min at least for any dishes. If you're ordering multiple. They're not coming out all at once. The appetizer orecchiette we got was tasty in regard to the texture. Nicely al dente. But it was extremely salted and extremely sour. Unsure of what flavor profile they want to have. Our server recommended the roasted chicken to be the most seasoned dish. I'm not sure whatever they marinated actually puncture the meat. It was cook well but virtually no flavor. Not any difference if you just boil chicken breast by itself. Everything was really pricey for no reason. Sure it was a good size? But if you compare it to restaurants located in downtown, a similar dish is at least 8-10$ cheaper. $14 for a basket of shoes string fries, $41 for roasted chicken and $43 for steak? On par with coors field at least. My assumption is that any new coming restaurants at the Stanley market is just a test run with a safety net to see if the restaurant actually performs well if it was a stand alone business.

First, let's talk seating. Buying a ticket apparently doesn't buy you... well... a seat with the people you came with. This place runs like Benihana. You may show up with your date, but don't be surprised if you're suddenly on a double date with two complete strangers because the staff decided four people belong at every four-top--regardless of the empty tables sitting around the room. If you're an extrovert, congratulations. If you're not... start practicing your small talk. Then there's the menu. The wings were decent enough, but the fries looked like the ones every fast-food restaurant rejected during quality control... and somehow they still cost eight bucks a basket. The drinks? Let's just say they were priced like the bartender personally distilled the bourbon. Twenty dollars for a top-shelf margarita and fifteen for an Old Fashioned with Bulleit Rye. Add in a $50 bottle of Crane Lake wine, and suddenly you're wondering if someone accidentally handed you the wine list from a five-star steakhouse. And don't forget the two-item minimum. Yes, you've already bought your ticket. No, that doesn't matter. You'll still need to order--or you'll be charged anyway. Consider it the cover charge's cover charge. Would I go back? For the comedians, absolutely. They were worth every laugh.
