Last evening in Miami we were looking for a casual dinner location near our airport hotel and found Capriccio thru YELP Easy access location with plenty of parking available the restaurant is casual dress but its decor is intimate and warm as well as larger then anticipated The restaurant provides complimentary foccaccia and it was delicious. Our bet was this was a great indicator of their pizza and it was! We split a Caesar salad as an appetizer- easily big enuff for 3 people to share. Greens were fresh and my wife enjoyed the croutons which were smaller then typical Our entree was the prosciutto pizza and when they say prosciutto they mean it! If I had a scale I would have asked, it looked like 2lbs of prosciutto were on top of the pie! The prosciutto was the most delicate and tender ive had and the crust on the pizza was thin and crispy but not too waferish Service was friendly and available whenever needed and the restaurant was very clean.

Went to Capriccio to celebrate a graduation, we were a big group and from the moment I called to reserve Claudia on the phone was amazing! Then on the night of the dinner we also had amazing service with Fernando, even when we were over 20 people he was friendly, fast & helpful! The restaurant looks amazing inside, with trees and a very rustic Italian vibe... now what takes the night is the FOOD, their menu offers a lot of options specially the pastas, like I wanted to try them all the flavors on everything I tried was delicious, authentic and freshly made! Really loved the Gnocchi with Pistachio Pesto & the Cartoccio Also save space for dessert cause they have a good variety (I didnt save space but some of my friends did and they said they were all incredible, so I learned my lesson for my next visit I'm coming for the dessert too lol).

We were staying at a near by when we noticed Capriccio's. Decided to have pizza for dinner. Walked in & was instantly greeted by a nice gentleman (may have been owner). The restaurant has just what you would see in Italy, cozy with dim lighting. The bread that was served with our drinks was awesome, fresh & tasty. We ordered pizza, each wanting something different. Both pizza was delicious. Would highly recommend trying this place when nearby.

I went for the second time and still one of the best spot if you are craving Italian food. I didn't have a reservation but they were accommodating. I sat in the second half of the restaurant that's decorated like I'm inside a cute cave. I tried some new dishes that were amazing. Capriccio has easy become one of my favorite restaurants.

Excellent Italian restaurant nestled in a strip mall near Miami International Airport. Seriously, this place is a delightful surprise, the food is delicious, fresh and creative. The service is superb as well as the staff guides you through the menu with the details of every dish. I recommend you try their thin pepperoni pizza smothered in a hot honey glaze, it is amazing! But look through the posted pictures on this review and you will be convinced!

This place is phenomenal! Service, food, ambiance. If you're staying near the airport this is your next MUST EAT spot! Staff is incredibly nice and attentive. Plants and natural aesthetics throughout. Prices are great and food is amazing! Drinks were strong and came out quickly. Bread service on table is fresh and delish - so much so that I forgot pics! Trust me on this! Pizzas were perfectly crispy on edges and toppings plentiful. All pasta dishes were authentic and well done. We will for sure be back - maybe even tonight!

While visiting Miami, we stopped in at Capriccio Blue Lagoon for lunch, and I must say the food was excellent and the service was great. Rodrigo was on server she made some great recommendations, he was patient with us while we made our selection and even brought out some Calabrian pepperonis for us to try.

What an amazing find as we had a lay over right up the street. Italian eats so authentic and delicious. Risotto Fungi had a few different types that bursted with flavor. Pepperoni pizza was so good. Chewy crust and melt cheesey goodness! Service was impeccable. Ambience on point. Traditional Italian music plays. Quite the romantic setting.

I have been here 3 times and each time is better than the last. The food here is incredible. The Fig Ravioli is to die for. My boyfriend and I came here on a date night a few weeks ago and every weekend he asks if we should come back. If you're thinking of trying this place out, I highly recommend it!

I've been here already a couple of times. So happy to see they have expanded. Service is great, food is amazing and the ambiance is super chill. Great place for large parties and kid friendly as well.

2nd time at this location which is very clean and inviting. Staff is very attentive along with a small menu and some specials for the day. I ended up with the pasta Vongole which is little neck clams down in a white wine sauce seasoned very well with red peppers and garlic. The clams were fresh in the shell and the dish was seasoned to perfection. The only downside was the sand in the shells. There were some that just didn't get the sand out. I have had this dish at other places where the sand was unbearable which it was not here. The flavor shined right through and was quite an enjoyable dish.

Will not complain as the manager went over and beyond to make things right so I give it 4 stars. If you are a regular/familiar with the miami restaurant scene, It's all about how you feel at the end of the night- at this dinner the manager made it right. Btw if you want your pasta to be served alongside your main protein choice tell your server and make sure he understands. Otherwise you will be eating it separately. That being said, over all the food & portions were good. We were a group of 8 and ordered many dishes. Some worth mentioning were the prawns in green sauce, the Branzino and the steak. Yes.... Will go back again.

This was short lived and after a little while we were invisible. Our server was nice enough but she was definitely not friendly, did not make any recommendations and barely smiled (not even at our 6 year old!). When she brought our dishes, she dropped off and literally ran away. We had to flag her down for parmesan and then didn't see her again throughout our whole meal until we asked the busboy (who we saw more than her) for dessert menus. No one bothered to clean our table full of crumbs in between. She did not ask us not once if we needed anything. However, she was quite able to chat and smile up a storm with a large party next to us who ordered tons of wine and food. This did not feel like fine dining The food was actually pretty good. It was nice that they allowed us to have Miami Spice entrees if we wanted to since they weren't on the menu. The Pear ravioli with goat cheese was delicious. My husband got the pasta with black squid and said it was ok... The pistacchio cake for dessert was just OK. And fyi they charge $10 to park in their lot, Might as well park in the street. I really I really wanted to like it but the service left a bad taste in my mouth sadly.

The hostesses (2) told us 45', we agreed. I asked to go to the bar to have drinks, we were told we couldn't (the bar had some open seats). I said OK, I'll order the drink and we wait outside, hostess was annoyed at that suggestion. She said if we wanted a drink, we'd have to go to their sister restaurant (which was packed). After 1hr 15' (we stayed outside waiting, no drinks), we checked in and the hostess rudely told us that she can't foresee when people will leave. So we took our $350 check to Hillstones, where they value regulars. We have dined at Luca before and love their food, but seems like success has gotten to the hostess' heads. Restaurants, especially in Miami, succeed and survive from the loyal locals, not from tourists nor fads. Seems that Luca has forgotten that. We're happy to take our business elsewhere, even a chain restaurant who values repeat customers.
