Went to red rock to play bingo in the afternoon and stopped at Capriotti's in the food court. Had the best tasting tuna sub with bacon that I've had in years. The Caprioitti's in Red Rock Casino has gone downhill since the last time I was there. Three people were working in the back. The most I have ever seen. Stood by the counter where I normally stand. Stood there 7-10 and was totally ignored. Finally some guy with a beard says, " Did you order?". I responded, "I am waiting to order." He responded in a rude and sarcastic tone, "The sign to order is hanging over there." Waited another five minutes until the guy with the beard told another worker to help help me. I walked away and said, "Can't believe I waited this long with three people working." The guy with the beard thought that was funny and found it humorous that a customer was standing there unacknowledged for almost 15 minutes. I go to the Red Rock casino Regal cinemas to watch movies. Love the location. The movie chain does not have a large food menu there so they allow you to bring food into the theater while watching a move. If we arrive early enough we will eat in the food court before. Got a foot long cheesesteak sub from the Capriotti's there at the food court. Did not eat anything else. Within 30 minutes into the movie got serious stomach pains. Had to leave movie. I believe the last time I got a Capastrami so it was time to get The Bobbie on this trip. It was such a good choice... For those that have never heard of The Bobbie, it's essentially a Thanksgiving dinner rolled up in a sandwich. You've got shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo. It's so good. And it was as tasty as I remember this time around. I got a medium ($9.89) but it was plenty of sub sammich for my starved self. The bread was soft in the middle, a little chewy on the outside and ingredients inside really make the show. When you get that bite of turkey with stuffing, cranberry and mayo... it really is greatness. There is a reason The Bobbie is legendary. This Capriotti's is located in the food court of Red Rock Casino and be prepared to wait a little as they make all the sandwiches to order. It took over 10 mins for me to get my Bobbie after ordering and paying for it. The wait is my only knock on the place. It seems as if they need more employees especially that Sunday before lunch time that we were there. Other than that, it was a good experience and the service was friendly. How about a free F-BOMB with your sandwich? I get it, the sandwiches are good. I know, I've been eating these delicious things since the mid-90s. My family always orders big and we are very loyal customers. My granddaughter loathes cranberry sauce - and always orders the BOBBIE without cranberry. The last two times, the sandwich came out with cranberries. The first time it occurred, we brought the sack of sandwiches home and it was too late to fix it. A disappointed granddaughter and an evening spoiled. So today, we checked the order at the counter and it was made with cranberry AGAIN. Understanding that this has occurred twice, I asked for a full refund. The young lady ripped into me with an F-BOMB and suggested that they got it wrong because they were too busy. They weren't. Can you imagine the audacity of an employee ruining your order, knowing that she ruined it, then abusing you? Above average quality flavor. This review is solely based on the original Philadelphia cheese roll with sweet peppers added. The bread was fresh, the cheese was alot, the meat was tender and the sweet peepers were flavorful. The male employee serving us on Wednesday was so kind and helpful as well. Well, we were looking for a quick breakfast before heading out to start our day. There weren't many good options in the food court at that hour, except a "double the price Starbucks" or this place for breakfast. I wanted to try something new and not overpay for it, so I gave them a shot. The service was fine, but I was super disappointed with the food. I was expecting a decent sized breakfast sandwich with flavor that would fill my belly after a night of drinking. That's not what I got. Instead, I got a half-sized pastrami sandwich with baguette bread. But not only was it small, everything inside it was mush. I literally tried to see the different ingredients, but I couldn't even distinguish the meat from the cheese. It was like they put it all in a blender and slopped it into the bread. I couldn't taste anything except the cheese. I felt like I was eating a cheese slop sandwich. Not good. The hash browns were only cooked well on one side. The bottled orange juice tasted like bottled orange juice. Meh. And for the price, I expected more. I won't be back. read more

After being deprived locally of Capriotti's locally for years, I was craving it while in Vegas, so found it very convenient being inside the Red Rock Casino food court. Sadly, expectations were not aligned with reality after the initial enthusiasm. There was a short line to order and while it did move a bit slow, I was still excited. Once getting to front, this is where the disappointment began. It took repeating the order multiple times in order for the employee to finally seemingly getting it right, when he repeated it back. After getting my gf's name wrong on the receipt, since not sure how he heard the name that ended up on the receipt, I just decided to let it slide and wait patiently for our food. Though in reality, I should have looked at the receipt. After about a 10 min. wait, I get the sandwiches, only to find out that hers is wrong. And wasn't even what was confirmed with us during the order. She goes back and the employee is very apologetic and has the kitchen remake the sandwich and realizes he mistakenly entered the order. By the time her remade sandwich was done, I was already done with my food. As far as the sandwich itself, the flavor was not as good as I remember, and was quite dry, and this location seemed to be a bit lacking on the overall filling/meat of the sandwich. Though maybe the food quality/quality has changed since I last had it. Guess if I give it another try, I will find out. After getting home, I get the best surprise yet, I was overcharged on my cc for the food, even though the receipt clearly has a total. Why I always try to keep my receipts for situations such as this. Upon seeing the overcharge, attempted to call the store and have it rectified as the only thing that makes sense is that a large tip was mysteriously added to my total since it was an exact dollar figure above my total. Now whether or not the store did this deliberately after the order screw-up or it was some other type of "mistake", I will not know since I left a message with the store for the manager to review and get back to me, and not surprised that I have not heard back. And even my survey comments about the visit to corporate have not received any reply. Just goes to show the decline of the corporate response overall as in the past, even on positive comments, I would receive acknowledgment and was thanked for my patronage. Maybe that's just not the way these corporations operate anymore. More about making $$ than the customer experience or providing any sense of service. This location will definitely be a pass for me and we'll see if my fond memories of what Capriotti's used to be, are truly memories that are long gone. read more

I purchase ribeyes from Snake River Farms so I'm familiar with the quality of their American Wagyu cuts. I tried Capriotti's SRF AmWag cheesesteak and man was it good. It is noticeably more tender than the normal cheesesteak and costs just a little bit more. I have yet to try their other sandwiches, but the cheesesteak is a winner. This location is situated in the food court of the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin. I noticed that the prices here are just a touch higher than the shop just down the street. But if you're courting lady luck at Red Rock, it's hard to beat a short stroll to the food court. read more

Originally we walked into Red Rock Casino tonight to eat at the Yardhouse, but it was a 45 minute to 1 hour wait and f^%k that. Actually, it was a mission trying to find a place to eat tonight that didn't have a ridiculous wait. After doing laps around the place trying to find a place with availability, we pretty much gave up and went to the food court since we just wanted to eat something by that point. We all quickly agreed on Capriotti's and off we went! My experience here tonight was truly a "mixed bag". (+) The food was really good. I mean like really, really good. I've eaten at many Cap locations and some are much better than others. This is definitely near the top of the list. (+) Portions were surprisingly huge, which I don't quite get. It was the same price as other Cap locations that I frequent, yet our same subs here were MUCH bigger it seemed. Why is that?? lol I don't know why, but I love it! lol We actually ordered an extra sub to go after eating because we were so impressed by this! (-) Service was painfully slow. To be fair, they were busy but everything just seemed to move at a snail's pace. (-) Employees were very nice but seemed a bit confused. One of our subs on our initial order was just plain wrong and not even close to what was ordered, but we were so hungry we just ate it anyways. It was good, don't get me wrong, just not what was ordered. Basically, food was a 4 and service was a 3, but we will certainly be back and we were pretty much wowed by the portion size so they get the benefit of the doubt and a 4 star rating from me. 4 stars.
