    All you can eat crab

Baby...these crabs ain't stand a chance. Sebastian cousins ain't stand a chance. Don't go running back to Ariel. She can't do nothing for these crustaceans. They served a purpose. They were vetted. Not breaded. Seasoned. Steamed. At my finger tips...I redeem! Ha ha ha. Okay. Lemme stop! I became a certified-bonified crustacean expert after my week in Baltimore. And this was my second time visiting for the year. I enjoyed the crabs but these blue crabs are work. My fingers ached, my thumbs trembled but I made a way to that sweet sweet meat. I had it alongside some infamous soda crush vodka drink thingy that's typical in Baltimore, forgot the name. And I had my coronas to wash it down! A time was had!

We had a really nice server and great view looking over the water, for the most part the crabs were pretty good. I'd just say the butter wasn't all that great/flavorful and I didn't enjoy the fact that drinks were not refillable

First time here on July 4th--went to the restaurant side (ship-like design) which had air conditioning! Joyce was our server--super cool and attentive. Steamed Crabs XL-size were $140 a dozen--a bit pricey but the crabs were delicious and full of meat! Corn on the cob was sweet and the French Fries were okay. We got two dozen of the XL crabs and it was TOO much for 3 ppl. But we enjoyed it so much that we brought our family here again the next day!! Next day, they only had 1.5 dozen left of the XL crabs when we arrived for lunch--the host was able to put a hold for us to have all of that, as we were getting seated, so nice of him! For appetizers, Clam Chowder, Cream of Crab, Hush Puppies and Captain's Waffle Fries were all good. Cocktails were great too. Service was great--of course, we asked for Joyce! Also, had a chance to go to the other part of the restaurant, by the water--the Crabhouse. It's more casual and outdoor so it's hot. Had some drinks at the bar--Mike and Roman were super cool bartenders! Fun vibes here.

Great crab house! The cream of crab soup was super thick and creamy! The crabs were also great! They offer all you can eat crabs during the week from 12-9pm? Service was super friendly & they have a parking lot across the street!

Solid crab house, right in the city. I like to go here because I can walk, and they do an unlimited deal. My friends have told me that you can actually sometimes get a Groupon, which is kind of crazy. The food is inconsistent here depending on how busy it is or how early late in the season you are. That said when I went with my sister in June we had the most lovely cream of crab and Maryland soup. They make you to buy bottles of water with their unlimited deal, but that's the only negative part here. you sit on the water. It's a vibe. The service is always so solid and like I said the food can be inconsistent, but that just depends on when you go. One of my top spots to bring guest because it's right in the city and it is a beautiful location. Also, if you don't know how to crack crabs, they will give you a lesson and also I just learned you could walk out to the pier and take photos.

I had a friend visiting from Florida, so of course I had to introduce him to Maryland blue crabs. After calling around to a few places that were already sold out, I finally reached Capt. James Crabhouse. They told me "Get here fast- we're down to large and mediums!" I wasn't far. We ended up with medium crabs and they were absolutely delicious. The waterfront view made the experience even better and our server Jada was fantastic- friendly, attentive and full of great energy. They also offer an all you can eat crabs special during the week, which I'm already planning to come back for!

Visited on Saturday evening with my daughter and the crabs were super delicious. Service could not have been better. I commented to my daughter that the server was fantastic. About a half hour later he told us it was his first day with a trainer. Way to go Mauricio!

I come here every year for the jumbo crab corn, hush puppies and shrimp well over $200.00 for two. I've been satisfied every year this year. The crab size was excellent but they just didn't seem to be as flavorful as usual. Maybe because they were so large. But everything else was fantastic. I wish I could steal the hush puppy recipe.

Had to try some blue crab while visiting and wasn't disappointed. My server Nick took time to show us how to eat them the meat was sweet the butter was clarified. Nice view overlooking the water. I'll be back soon!

I come here pretty often in the summer for the all you can eat crabs w/ corn and soup for $48. My advice is to get there early for the best seating. This is literally a hit or miss but not in a bad way. Sometimes you will luck up on a GREAT batch and sometimes you'll get small crabs but they're all good in taste. They keep the trays coming and it's very much worth it. Service is always good. You will be stuffed when you walk out that building.

My only complaint is i I wish the menu was more extensive (giving more options ) or more creative. Captain James Crab house is a great vibe! They have 2 floor levels (the upstairs is more live and plays music). Their menu prices are fair and the food is good! I was in love with the ambiance of this place! The customer service was great too. It's a perfect spot for a night out and a nice date spot.

Enjoyed all you can eat crabs at Captain James on the deck of their crab shack. Service was a little slow (it usually is) but thats because they are always packed. Sitting on the water and eating crabs is the perfect summer day. The views are beautiful. We sipped on different cocktails (orange crush, pink panther, and crushing waters), ate more crabs then we could count, and ordered a side of fries and hushpuppies. The AYCE crabs also comes with 1 ear of corn and a coup of soup per person.

10/10 The service here was unmatched and the oysters and beer were the perfect touch to an amazing lunch. The oysters were so fresh and the perfect size. The views here are awesome and I can definitely see myself coming back. The only drawback was, I wanted only 2 crabs. I didn't really want a lot and the 3 of us knew we couldn't finish all of it but it didn't really look like they had an option to get just 2, you had to get it per pound. ...I could be wrong but I didn't ask.

We visited on a Tuesday, and since it wasn't very busy, the service was attentive and our food came out quickly. We took advantage of one of their daily specials. the Cumin Beef Stir-Fry was half off ($13). It ended up being my favorite dish. The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. The Tibetan Diced Lamb also had great flavor with a nice balance of spices. The Sichuan Popcorn Chicken, however, wasn't what I expected. It wasn't the traditional Sichuan-style chicken I was hoping for and leaned more on the sweet side, which personally wasn't my favorite. The Flaming Roasted Lamb Leg had a delicious smoky flavor and came with a fun tableside presentation where it was set on fire. That said, the portion was on the smaller side for the price, and I was a little surprised to find what looked like French fries underneath the lamb. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and street parking was easy to find. They don't have a liquor license yet, so it's currently BYOB. There's a liquor store that's a three minute walk away from the restaurant. They also offer tea for $5 with free refills and soda for $2.50 with free refills. I also appreciated that they offer select dishes at half price on certain days of the week, so it's worth checking their specials before you visit. Overall, the food was flavorful, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the daily specials make this a great value. While not every dish was a hit for me, the cumin beef and Tibetan lamb were excellent.

Lao Sze Chuan is a new-ish (open since January 2025) Sichuan restaurant that took over the space Busboys and Poets used to occupy. It's a huge space, but they did a great job renovating it, and it feels light and bright and modern - very comfortable. It's huge though - so I hope people know it's there and are ordering takeout/delivery or stopping by a for a meal in person! The service was very friendly and very fast, so it's a great spot for an in-person meal, too! Their menu is as large as the restaurant space, so there's something for everyone! They definitely have a lot of Sichuan dishes, but if you're not up for Sichuan, they have some other dishes that might fit the bill: dim sum (plenty of dumplings and buns), lo mein, fried rice, Peking duck, basil eggplant, Mongolian beef, and more... On Saturday at the restaurant, my husband and I shared a pot of white tea and a few dishes: crystal shrimp dumplings; pork soup dumplings; spicy tofu skin strips (shredded tofu skin tossed with Sichuan-style chili oil, peppercorns, and spices for a bold, numbing and spicy flavor); spicy and sour fish fillets (tender fish fillets simmered in a flavorful broth with pickled mustard greens, garlic, and Sichuan spices); a side of white rice for the fish; and red bean paste pumpkin cakes for dessert. When we ordered delivery in February, we shared: vegetable steamed dumplings; Yu-Shiang Eggplant Roll (tender eggplant braised and rolled in a traditional Sichuan Yu-Shiang sauce, offering a perfect balance of sweet, sour, savory, and spicy notes); crispy salty chicken (bite-sized chicken pieces deep-fried and seasoned with basil); salt & pepper pork chops (crispy fried pork chops tossed with onions and jalapeño peppers for a bold and savory flavor); and a side of white rice). I've enjoyed everything we've eaten (although I wouldn't recommend the crispy dishes for delivery for obvious reasons - I can't resist salt & pepper pork chops sometimes even though I know it doesn't travel the best), and I love how broad the menu is. I can't wait to return to try more of their dishes!

Although we were there on a Monday at lunchtime, the dining area quickly became busy and loud. We ordered some crab dip, which they were able to provide some gluten-free bread for. I really liked the crab dip! It was creamy and flavorful. After placing some salad orders, the food came out, but we were not brought utensils to eat. The meat was not cooked how we asked for it to be, and one of the plates had to be sent back to be cooked more. After around 20 minutes, we were finally given forks to start eating. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad and despite my fish being a bit underdone, it was pretty good. I wish there was more dressing on the salad though because it was a bit bland and dry. It also seemed like our waiter was super stressed as he was genuinely running through the restaurant at times.
