I regret so badly for the many times we have drove past this place & never stopped. Our 1st time visiting & there was nothing disappointing about it. Freshest salad bar in town. I'm a salad bar snob & this spot on, was the best salad bar I've had in a long time. The service was amazing. Husband got the small order of the scallops & baked potato that came with the salad bar & he said it was excellent & the perfect portion. The ladies were so nice. The atmosphere is exactly what you would hope it to be with its name. Yacht rock type music on, low key, but very nice seating. We will definitely be going back soon.

Went for lunch and had fried shrimp with onion rings. Shrimp was tender and well seasoned and the onion rings were crispy and tasty.

I was hankering for some ribs and this place had great reviews and it was only 5 mins from where I was pet sitting. I waited till 5p, bc I wanted to go at 3p but figured I might get leftovers from lunch. I got ribs w/2 sides which were baked beans and green beans& then an extra side of mac&cheese. Well just as I had feared, that mac had to have been made earlier in the day bc it was not fresh and cheesy. Most ppl can tell when mac&cheese has been sitting there for a long time. I thought since it was 5p they would have put a new pan out. The green beans were good (basically tasted like they came right from the can with a couple of spices). The baked beans were really good! I enjoyed them immensely! The ribs like I said were tender, juicy and a good portion. The banana pudding I got tasted fresh and DELICIOUS!! It taste's like how I make mine. Overall it was a really good experience. The lady that took my order & the one that brought it out to me were very friendly. I didn't catch their names. I just got a to go order. Definitely go for the ribs, the baked beans, the sauce & the banana pudding. The mac&cheese? You might need to ask them when it was made bc this was not made just a couple hrs ago. Look at this picture and tell me that was baked within the last 3 hrs.

It's a large shop with minimalist decor and lots of natural light. Staff are kind, there is a good food menu with lots of options and a lot of coffee/beverage options too. Nice amount of seating as well. I went for an iced latte and had their caprese toast and yogurt bowl. The caprese toast was so good and tasty with the pesto on top. The iced latte was solid, a nice balance in the espresso. Definitely a great spot for a quick pick me up or to stay a while.

The greeting from our arrival to seating was prompt and very courteous. We got suggestions from the wait staff and started our experience. They have an extensive cocktail and wine list. We started with a drink called Southern Hospitality and their branded Old Fashioned. Both drinks were exceptional. We accompanied that with Grilled Octopus, which was sensational. Very hard not to make it chewy. Great char and sauce that accompanied it. For entrees, we did the Perloo, an amazing interpretation, and a swordfish. Both dishes were immaculately prepared and perfectly sized. We chose a bottle of Loss and Lehn, something we had never tried before but recommended based on what we had ordered. It matched perfectly with both dishes. We also choose items from the pick 3 menu to accompany our entrees. We finished with the best bread Pudding we have ever had nd french press coffee. The price was very reasonable considering the quality and the service, and should not be missed next time you are in Savanah.

It doesn't feel corporate or manufactured at all. More like you've stumbled into somebody's lovingly chaotic backyard dinner party where the food just happens to be genuinely top-tier. The mismatched charm, handwritten feel, and warm atmosphere are part of what makes it so special. There's this brilliant contrast between the laid-back hole-in-the-wall vibe and the seriously refined cooking coming out of the kitchen. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were incredibly tender, fried perfectly, and drizzled with a lovely house-made ranch. The sweet house pickles alongside were such a good touch. We also each had a cup of she crab soup which was beautifully seasoned and packed with tonnes of crab morsels. For mains, we shared the shrimp and grits and completely understood why the recipe has won awards, including being recognised as the 3rd best in the world. The recipe is rooted in traditional Lowcountry cooking but elevated with layers of flavour that somehow still feel comforting and homemade. The grits were unbelievably creamy, and the shrimp and sausage were perfectly cooked with fantastic flavour throughout. We also split the seafood purloo with blackened grouper, and it was equally impressive. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh without trying too hard to be fancy. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond. They took time to chat with us about the area, paced the courses perfectly so nothing felt rushed, and by the end we were leaving with handshakes feeling more like guests than customers. Places like this are getting harder to find. We'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lowcountry food served by genuinely wonderful people.
