After 2 install attempts I cannot recommend Car City Custom. The installers were nice but clearly inexperienced. On the first visit, they arrived 1 hour late. I watched them overtighten the inner door panels and break some tabs on my interior trim. Then the window film had tears (pics 1 and 2). They agreed to replace, and after the second visit the film was still cut poorly (pic 3 and 4) and I have dust particles trapped in the film. I will not be returning.

I got my car tinted in May, forgot to write a review but I love how fast the workers were. They were knowledgeable and walked me through the process. I had literally no complains. They did a bang up job and for the price it was all I could ask for. It was cheaper than what anyone else was offering.

Called these guys again to tint my daughter's car. I requested for Kenneth, the installer. Of course, they did another amazing job!!! Told Kenneth that the car was brand new and to be very careful, and of course, he did. I would highly recommend this place for any tint projects over and over again. One word to describe..... AMAZING.

Absolutely the best service I have experienced! Alex is super friendly and knowledgeable. Kenneth and Aldo came with him. They took my car which had completely warped and melted previous tint and did an incredibly job. There were no hidden fees, friendly service, proper invoicing, and they did it all with a smile. Coming here was great! It was my first time getting my car tinted- let alone my newly purchased car. Ceena was more than happy to reach out and send me estimates of packages. Booking was super easy and quick. When I arrived, Alex helped me out and walked me through each of the packages. I was reassured knowing that Alex and his team were confident in their work. It was a seamless process and the entire team was prepared. I am so happy with the result, couldn't have asked for a better outcome

These guys seemed cool at first when I first scheduled my initial tint job on my vehicle. Unfortunately, after a few days post install, the tint on the front passenger window didn't cure properly. There're bubbles in the tint and it looks awful. I texted the owner multiple times to have them fix the issue. The responses were fewer in between, then eventually was told he could only replace it at my office instead of my home because it was closer to their home base, even though the initial job was done at my home. I'm out of office for the next several weeks so doing the job at my office wasn't going to work. No follow up. Have a bad passenger front window tint job, so I'll unfortunately have to take it elsewhere at this point. Feel free to use these guys but don't count on them to stand by their work post install. Now I have to go spend $ elsewhere to get it corrected and done right. Beware.

These guys were phenomenal. Punctual, priced fairly, and worked super quickly. Easily the most responsive vendor in the South Bay Area. While they were here they noticed a separate car in our garage which needed tinting and were more than happy to squeeze it in for service. I did a lot of research asking a bunch of other businesses about window tint before committing with Alex and Car City Custom and one of the main reasons why I committed to this business is because of his transparency and honesty in pricing. Alex and the crew won't cut any corners and they do excellent work. I had two vehicles done, tint on all sides and back for a killer deal - especially when other places were trying to charge nearly double/triple the prices. Another huge reason why i committed to Car City Custom is because of convenience. Not only do they have a shop - they can come to you and do the tint. This saved me a lot of time. Talked details about % of tint, gave them my keys and within 3 hours , 2 cars were tinted!! Granted on one of my vehicles on the very small front side windows there were some bubbles that formed - but Alex came back and made it right ( no charge ). In a world where people will find anyway to make money off you - Alex and Car City Custom does business the right way. For as long as I live in LA - this is my go to place for window tints! read more

They explained and showed me different tint levels and finished the job fairly quickly. The job was done very well with no bubbles or any other problem. 3.5 stars, didn't vacuum up the mess and even thought they knew the service being done they don't carry a vacuum or broom. i understand we get busy and run late but i had to reach out because they didn't make it on time twice that same day. Didn't have more time to reschedule so I had to get it done so I waited. Price wise maybe I missed the 2 small windows my fault but I think it was overpriced and I think I got the price mistaken as well. At the end he figured out the issue and was able to fix the problem. He truly went above and beyond with his services. He honestly could have just said, sorry I don't know what the problem is and let me go on my way. But he didn't. My car runs great and my alarm systems remote start works even better than before. Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

Unfortunately, I curbed the wheels to my car. My car has chrome wheels, which are tough to fix. I contacted other shops and they either gave me really expensive quotes or they said that they don't have the expertise to fix them at all. Elevance is my savior because they were able to fix it for a reasonable price and did an excellent job. Alongside that, my husband also curbed the rims of his car a few times and they were also able to fix those as well! I'm hoping we don't curb anymore rims, but if we do, I definitely know I can rely on Elevance to fix them.

I have a written email quote from Precision Tint explicitly stating: 'you're looking at about 699.00 total' for ceramic tint and removal. Despite this written agreement, the shop manually entered a $900.00 'Custom Amount' plus tax on my receipt, totaling $983.25. This is a blatant violation of California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9, which prohibits charging a penny over a written estimate without a new, signed authorization. It is also a violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) regarding deceptive 'Bait and Switch' pricing. Charging nearly $1,000 for window tint on a small 4-door car is ridiculous. There is nothing 'prestige' or luxury about this service that justifies a 40% markup over their own written quote. The shop ignored three separate formal attempts to resolve this billing error. Formal complaints have been filed with appropriate entities. Hopefully, this saves others the headache of being overcharged. Shady business practices, please avoid. If you choose to do business here make sure to do so, at your own risk, as everyone's experiences may vary.

He laid out the film types, explained heat rejection vs. darkness, and told me what would actually hold up on my car. Didn't upsell. Just gave me the info I needed to choose wisely. I am really satisfied with today's work. They were very kind and completed the work quickly to finish the entire glass. They even came out to my house and proceeded without any burden. Here is what I had tinted 35% Nano Ceramic on the front windshield and driver/passenger windows, 5% Nano Ceramic on the rear windshield and panoramic roof (1 piece).
