These people will do bad business with anyone if it means making a little bit of cash. They sold me a truck with a bad alternator that had to be fixed ($700) 3 weeks after purchasing, therefor was late on this months payment because of the unexpected expense that they don't cover with any sort of warranty, even as soon as 3 weeks after purchase. When I become delinquent on my payment, they harassed me, calling multiple times a day, calling EVERYONE on my references list - yeah, don't leave any numbers you don't want being harassed about your missing a payment, even by one day, because they'll let everyone you know in on the fact that you haven't paid your car payment. We had discussed a plan to pay by today, yesterday via email, which I have in writing, and they still repossessed my truck WHILE I WAS AT WORK 4 hours after confirming a good time to make my payment. oh and get this, when I went to retrieve my belongings (not the truck, because they were asking over $2000 in fines alone on top of what I still owed) I realized they'd ransacked my vehicle and STOLEN my property. When I confronted them, ***Gilberto*** said, "Sorry man, idk what to tell you." Not only did they overcharge me, harass me, let me pay off half of my truck, get major mechanical work done, and then fucking take it from me, but they're thieves in every sense of the word and will steal your own personal belongings too. I've never disliked a dealership so much in my life. I have bought and sold a lot of cars in my life, but I will NEVER do business again with Car Craft. I bought a 2001 Jeep Wrangler (5-speed) from this car dealership with their in-house financing program. I put down a $3,200 cash down payment. I should have never bought a 5-speed because after a few days, the manual started to bother my leg and back more than I thought. I had two back surgeries a month prior and my sciatica was still an issue. If you've ever driven an older Jeep Cherokee, you know their clutch isn't an easy one. I politely asked to trade out for a automatic but they refused. I worked with Gilbert on the original deal and he told me they never trade out vehicles but I could talk with the owner Gus about my situation. I did get a letter from my neurosurgeon about the safety factor of driving a manual with my sciatica pain and recent lumbar surgeries. Remember, they are a "buy here pay here" dealership, so they have the power to trade out vehicles since they are officially the bank. Just two days ago, I drove the Jeep to the dealership to talk with Gus and Gilbert. I was in a lot pain and had no one else to drive me. I drove an hour and then got a call from Gilbert. He told me they won't do a straight switch for me. Remember, I just gave them a $3,200 down payment for the Jeep. I was pissed! I can barely drive this vehicle and the staff doesn't give a crap. All they want is your money. Fast forward an hour later as I was driving home in lots of pain and discomfort. BAM!! I was involved in a 5 car accident on I-5 in Bellingham (see photo). They have ignored my emails since the accident and don't give a shi*t about me or anyone else that buys a car. They don't care...they got my $3,200 and now they'll get the insurance money because the Jeep is a total loss. I beg you to steer clear of this dealership. 2 weeks ago I am quite concerned about my recent experience with Car Craft Auto Sales. My son recommended them, as he has purchased over ten cars from them throughout the years and the previous owner appeared to have integrity. However, the new owner has been disappointing. An agent claiming to be from Car Craft Auto Sales contacted me via text message, asking for a copy of my ID. I was hesitant to send my information to a random number and waited until the morning to call the office. When I confirmed it was Car Craft Auto Sales, I was confused as to why they needed my driver's license after two and a half years. I eventually sent a picture of my license and, within 30 minutes, Credit Karma notified me that my credit score had decreased because of a new loan application. However, I never applied or signed anything. When I questioned the agent who had texted me, they told me to call the office as it was their day off. Later, I discovered the car had been refinanced through Reliable Credit without my knowledge or consent. They change fees depending on who you talk to, not one car I've gotten from them hasn't needed major mechanical repairs. From a leaking gas tank from a crack fuel pump to have 2 completely blown cv axles. To top it off they will have you fill out a notarized contract that clearly states contract at top with all the policies then when utilizing your contract they'll start saying you signed something that they didn't give you a copy of and when presented with a copy the majority was hand written and the typed part at the bottom goes against the clear contract that was signed and no answers as to why the date is damn near illegible like it was a copy of a computer scanned item. Purchased a 16 yr old car in January 2020, 24 months @$326.49 due on the 15th of each month, no real problems initially. On March 11th I was laid off from work due to the coronavirus outbreak, uncertain how it would impact me financially, I personally went to the dealership and spoke with the owner, who agreed to waive future monthly late fees during this crisis. March's payment was also made at that time. By April, the state was on a stay-at-home quarantine, and on April 24th I called to make a payment, at which time the fee for calling a payment in was brought up, I argued calling was the only most efficient way to make a payment during the quarantine, eventually, the fee was waived and I understood any future fees would be waived during this pandemic. Today, May 18th after receiving a late payment notice text, I called the dealership to advise a payment would be made on Friday 22nd. I was then informed about a late fee for this month, and I would be charged late fees for any future late payment; after reminding the CSR, of my earlier conversation with the owner regarding the waiving of late fee, as well as the later conversation with the CSR regarding phone-in payment fees. I, was then informed the waiver was a one-time-only "goodwill gesture". This dealership has displayed limited business ethics or moral compassion during a time when life and income are uncertain. I will continue to make my regular payments monthly, however I do plan to seek legal remedy, for a refund for any and all fees levied during the Coronavirus pandemic. I was looking for a Sunday car, something nice to cruise in. When I ran into an ad selling a 1969 Cadillac coupe deville, it was in alright quality. Nothing too special. the car was listed at 5,995$ after a while the car dropped to 4,995$. So I withdrew some cash to negotiate a sale. By the time I did that, the ad had been deleted and reposted at 10,000$ DOUBLE the asking price. When I asked the sorry excuse of a salesman if this was the same vehicle he denied it, and said for my offer I could find something that "needed work". It had the same mileage, interior, vin number, and yellow paint. I guess he swallowed his spit and realized he couldn't scam me because he went silent. Purchased a vehicle 2 1/2 weeks ago and put down $2000 with the intent on paying another $500 before the first initial car payment was due for a total of $2500. Long story short , they came and repossessed the vehicle for being 4 days late coming in to pay rest of the down payment. Gilberto said we would be able to make the rest of the down payment when the plates were in because they had to estimate the fees and we could possibly owe more or less. After calling and being put on hold 2 days in a row and never receiving a call back I went up there to find out where the vehicle was in which they said they can take the car back for whatever reason and would not accept my payment (although the contract states a $50 late fee or 30% whichever is greater), I asked to speak the the general manager or the owner and Gilberto told me he was the GM and made a phone call and said he cannot provide me with the owners information. The car was financed for around $8000 and would end up paying around $13000. They want $13000 for a car I've had less than 3 weeks and put down $2000!!!! Customer service was horrid and I was told they can do pretty much anything they want whether it's in the contract or not! I will definately be going to superior court . In response to the owners response ; For one you are NOT Gaston so I'm confused as to why your profile picture is displayed since your name is NOT GASTON. Secondly if your rude ass secretary would have taken my damn payment over the phone when I called all these issues could have been avoided . First I was put on hold quite a long while. Then a man with a thick foreign accent told me to just come in and see it for myself. Upon searching for cars in my price range religiously, I came across Car Craft Auto Sales. I decided to check out their inventory. I immediately found four cars that I liked and fit my price range, as well. Over the course of a couple months, I saved money for a down payment, before that my credit isn't in perfect condition. After I saved up the money necessary for a down payment, I decided it was time to go to the dealership and check out the options I had chosen. Upon arrival, I parked and started towards their inventory. Unlike most dealerships, I had not been approached... No biggie. I walked inside, perhaps someone would help me I approached them. I got a couple of stares from some employees. Not a single one uttered a word to me. Feeling out of place, I walk back outside to scope out the cars I had looked at online. To my dismay, I found that the cars I had found in my price range online were actually had a higher sticker price. I was a bit panicked, thinking that maybe I hadn't researched properly. Interrupting my thought process, came an older employee. He seemed pretty friendly at first. His sarcasm was not to my taste, however. After driving the cars I was interested in, I told him there must of been a mistake about the sticker pricing on the cars, because of the difference online. He acted as though I had it all wrong, apparently I had seen a cars online that were already sold. Since I felt confidently that the cars I had been looking at were right in front of me, I pulled up the website on my smart phone. Sure enough, after a VIN number check for each car and all, the cars I were checking out at the dealership were the same I had viewed online! The only difference was that the cars at the dealership were priced a thousand or two higher. This, my friends, is false advertisement is completely unacceptable. I showed him the proof of the VIN numbers matching the cars and as abrupt as possible, he said, "I cannot sell these cars to you for that price." Before I could get a word out in edgewise, he simply walked away. The lack of customer service was completely astounding! I was in disbelief that not only had I been lied to, directly to my face; but that he didn't seem to care about losing a customer! Leaving me no choice but to go, I went to my car. A nice woman walked up to me, also a customer. She was there with her family and had the same problem with him, with the denying of cheaper price online. Although, she did say to confide in Gilbert. Bought a car last month, car had a Temp plate on before I bought it, which tells me someone else had bought it and brought it back and they were selling it before they ever even registered it from the previous sale. The first week with the car and it died on the road, 2010 Auto with 100K miles. Limped it back and they said they would fix it. Call me a day or two later and it is "fixed" no one can ever tell me what was 'fixed' but hey the check engine light was gone (big surprise). I get the car back and almost immediately the car says its low on oil. I put a quart in and drive the rest of the day, later in the day says it is dangerously low and add oil before driving. Over the next 2 weeks I add at least $250 in synthetic oil for it. I tell Gus the Owner I want my $900 back, so he sends 2 goons TO MY WORK and park their truck behind my car ON PRIVATE PROPERTY and HARASS my work every 5 minutes inside until I return to work. My boss had the police on the phone on their way. I called Gus, his very upset and generally rude lady who answers the phone swore at me, then put GUS on the phone who in a very thick accent used much profanity and said he would not give me back my money and give his goons the keys or I 'wouldn't be happy'. Ultimately, they took my money, knowing they sold me a junk car, then kept trying to get more and more money out of me whenever I told them their car was junk. Hey, I've purchased 2 vehicles from this dealer. First vehicle I got drove fine at first then a check engine came up and I went back to see what's up. I asked if they can get it fixed for me but they said since I negotiated the price down by 1000$ they can't help me out. It made perfect sense to me! I said alright makes sense. Bought a second vehicle later on. The tires were bad so they sent me to there guy and I got the tires replaced. They financed me when I had no credit line. Yes I got a bigger interest but that's how it works with in house financing. Not many dealers do that for people who were in my situation. DON'T BUY A CAR HERE! 2007 MERCEDES GL 450 SUV DARK BLUE. This place made national news for selling broken down cars and I learned the hard way! Look up Kiro 7 or any local news station with the name car craft and you will see the news story. In my case I brought 2007 Mercedes GL 450 from Car Craft. These people pray upon people with less than great credit. I bought the car in November 2016 and Gilbert was our salesmam. THE VERY NEXT DAY MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON! I called Gilbert and was told there was nothing thet they could do that we bought it as is. I also need to add that Gilbert was very rude and had a very snotty attitude. I asked to talk to the owner and was told "he was not in". The girls that answer the phone are extremely rude and lie that the owner is never in! Despite numerous attempts I could never get the owner on the phone. I had to get the car fixed myself and it cost over $400 to get the thermostat fixed. 3 weeks later my engine light came on again!! Now the car needed breaks! I tried calling Gilbert and again of course he was rude a said there was nothing they could do and of course the owner would not talk to me! The car needed front brakes and rotors and tires ASAP which costed me $500! The car also needed 4 tires and when i went to the tire shop they told me it was not legal to drive the car like that! The back brakes still need to be done. The car had always swayed when you hit bumps but we were told that it was normal and it was because the car is on airbags. This was a lie from car craft. I took the car to check why it was swaying. I was told that it needs new shocks! I was told it will cost $2200 for the shocks! The car is not safe to drive like this. It sways alot. I called Gilbert again about the shocks and of course he said there is nothing they will do to help. I also should add that when we bought the car they added an insurance to our loan amount that us absolutely worthless. The insurance would not cover any of these mentioned problems with the car! Since this car is a piece of crap and money pit I had no choice but to return it. When I tried calling Gilbert about the return of the car he said it will be reported as a repo on my credit! I gave them $3000 down and they are keeping my down plus the monthly $520 i was giving them and they still report badly on my credit for a car that was never working properly or safely to begin with?!! If I was able to give 0 stars I would. Absolutely WORST customer service EVER. Apparently multiple employees here are the owners grandson so don't expect for them to be respectful because they clearly just don't care. Went in to purchase a 11k car after being pre-approved for a different car (that actually cost more) but was sold. Had the cash in hand that they asked for to put down on a down payment. Was then told after inputting the information for the new one that they thought we made really good money since the first time coming in we had a really nice car and were dressed like we had money and were surprised to see that we don't make very much money and we now needed to put down 1/2 to get into the car. I can not believe the way we were talked to. The level of disrespect was insane. I recommend NO ONE to ever even waste their time going into this place. read more
