Scraped my left front wheel on one of those tight-turn traffic islands and hated the curb rash if left behind on my new-to-me Nissan so decided to spring for a clean-up on it. A friend recently got paintless dent repair done at Car Source and raved about their service and great attitude. That sounded good to me so even though there are body shops closer to me I gave Car Source a call and explained my situation. Matt (manager) gave me a great price and got me in and out same day, dropping me at a local coffee shop while work was done. And the repair was perfect. Maybe a lot of body shops can do good work but it's another thing when you find someone who so clearly loves the work they do and really wants every customer to have an overall great experience besides a job well done. I do not recommend these guys unless you have an eye for detail and have all the time to wait for these guys to finish a half-ass job on your car that you'll probably need to take back and have them fix again. I've had to have them fix my car twice, after I used them to repair my car following $13,000 worth of damage from a hit and run and vandalism. They know how to get paid by insurance, but clearly don't care about their work as they are not detail oriented and they are very slow at repairing the small stuff. I can't say enough about how pleased I was working with Car Source! I have a nearly new Toyota Crown Signia Limited (it's a new model) with awesome dark grey metallic alloy wheels. Sadly, after having it less than a month, I took a curb too close and boom: curb rash! Probably hurt my ego more than the car, but I had to get it repaired. I tried contacting local companies with good ratings and most never even answered. Within about 15 minutes, I had a reply from Matt. I sent a photo of the damaged wheel rim and Matt came right back with a fabulous price to repair it and availability the next day and, on top of that, with a special price almost half of the one other quote I'd received. I brought my car in and pointed out another wheel with a similar, but smaller damage. Matt: no problem. I left my car, and Matt called an Uber for me to get me to my job. When I was ready to pick up my car -- yes, this was all done in ONE day -- Matt called for an Uber to pick me up. Both wheels were fixed, good as brand new, and no additional charge. While I would hope never to need their services again, if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to go back (which I probably will for a spring time detailing). I need to replace my passenger side mirror. Get several quotes through yelp. I took a look on the review for different body shops. This place turn out to be my 1st choice (review + price). Called them on the phone and decided to stop by let them take a look on my car to make sure there is no misunderstanding. Sam is very profession and call the dealer right away to make sure they can get parts. To my surprise, Sam told me they can take care of it on the next day at 4:00 PM. Wow, that is fast. I will update my information once I get the job done tomorrow. PS. There is another place in Rockville with great reviews with better price ( but with after market parts). However, it would take longer for them to get the parts. Quotes from other places with original parts are higher (within $50 difference). I like guys (Sam and MIke) work there, and hope they will do a good job tomorrow. read more

I live in Washington DC.  My parents told me they quickly decided to get their car fixed here at Car Source after taking a look at the reviews.  For me to trek all the way over to Gaithersburg from DC is a real pain and I was not looking forward to it. Given the information from my parents, however, I decided that perhaps I'd give it a try after I took it to a few other places for estimates in my neck of the woods. Back story: The back bumper of my BMW X3 SUV was hit. The costs were going to be out of pocket for the right and left sides of my car (I live in Washington DC, so people are going to hit my shit and fuck up the paint and whatnot). Back to the story: I decided, after getting other  estimates to take it to this place. Why would I without even knowing how good of a job they'd do on my car?  I realized that they'd have to do a good job as I could see the principles, morals, and philosophy of this auto shop in its aesthetics! Let me tell you hands-down number one when you walk into this place you're going to realize the aesthetics are abnormally and beautifully finished. I'm a visual person, and I really love beautiful things! Car Source was NOT some slimy, dumpy old place that's got red, white, and blue and looks like you went to a homeless shelter.  I could tell a lot by just the place -- that these guys really care about aesthetics and when I want to get my car fixed I'm thinking aesthetics, baby. I'm Iranian and I have a BMW for a reason. I really appreciated the way that staff talk to you at the center, the happy people that walk by, the violinist that plays outside of the  shop, the beautiful light brick finish on the walls, the fountain of water that's placed on the office desk, the comfortable couches that they have in the lobby, and the arches that have mirrors like some sort of foreign country that you haven't been to yet. Now, forget the way this place looks. I've got to say after taking everything out of my car I realized that I had left my handicap placard in the store.  Even though the place closes at 6 pm the owner called me after 8 pm and let me know that I could pick it up or that he could even meet me to give it back, which I thought was awesome sauce spaghetti sauce. I went back and got it and was super happy because I'd now be able to avoid getting parking tickets in DC -- I get parking tickets all the time. Mike, the owner of the company, gave me an unbeatable price for the out-of-pocket repairs -- dents on the right and the left side of my car.  When I told my dad how much it was gonna cost me he was ecstatic. It only took them a week to fix my car, and I don't think I could've gotten a better price anywhere. They did an excellent job. I selected Car Source Collision Center because it offered all of the things I wanted done for my 1) minor repairs to the front and rear bumpers, 2) scratches to the hood, 3) curb rash repair and 4) finally a full detail. I called to make an appointment to get an estimate and asked how soon they would be able to complete the work and Matt said come by today and we can do a full inspection of the vehicle and take it from there. He provided recommendations and let me know how long the work would take. I asked him when he could start the work and his response was as soon as you want. Since I wasn't expecting to leave my car, he made arrangements for a ride to the Metro to get home. It took them a little over a week to complete the work but needless to say it was worth the wait as I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome. It has my 2010 Mercedes looking new again.
