Dropped by to check this place I see in social media and the moment I entered, I instantly fell in love. The place is huge. It's not extravagant but I love the ambiance and atmosphere. Met Vanessa, the owner and spoke the history of this place. She said she came from Colombia where she had a coffee shop for 12 years. She opened this shop 4 months ago but it had gotten so popular with the locals and visitors alike. Upon the recommendation of Vanessa, I had the lavender chai tea and a pour over coffee. She said all coffee beans they're using are imported from Colombia and that explains why coffee is so good. What the heck IS this place? Unassuming with a (slightly creepy) parking lot in the back, you round the corner and enter into the coffeehouse...but is it? It's harp storage! It's a live music venue! It's fresh flowers and exposed brick and wood-and-leather seating options and vaulted ceilings and a great soundtrack and probably the best iced latte I've had. The baristas were kind and greeted regulars with enthusiasm, welcoming we warmly but in a way that said "you're new here-I hope you love it!" even as they were dealing with an irate neighbor (who stormed in yelling something about someone using his dumpster the night before? I learned when I walked in that this is a Colombian coffee company, but their first US location. The space doubles as a harp store somehow? Kinda cool.. I asked about the chai and learned that they use all hand-picked ingredients, no sugar added. They said you won't need it. They were 100% right. The food menu has the same energy. Honesto Cafe was amazing! I stopped by on my way to work and decided to try this place. The staff was extremely friendly & patient as i scanned the menu, deciding what to get. I ended up getting a vanilla latte with cold foam & it was delicious! There's something about their coffee beans that gave the drink w nutty flavor and i loved it. I also got a sandwich and it was 10/10 one of the best pesto sandwiches i've ever had. The staff let me know the pesto is homemade! This place is cute, I'll have to come back to try their food. It looks absolutely delicious. This coffee shop located on Sepulveda and the alley right by the Westwood Villa apartments. There is plenty of parking in the back. I tried their cold brew with almond milk and lavender syrup. It was strong, you can taste the coffee and not really sweet so I couldn't taste the syrup. Overall if you want a strong coffee and this cute little plastic bottle, go check out Honesto. It's also a Harp center so they do throw some events after the cafe closes. If you sign up for their website, they'll send you information on public events. The ladies at tje counter was very helpful and answered all the questions I had about the place. read more

The emerald sandwich is everything you want it to be. The herbaceous focaccia is fluffy and slightly crispy. The stracciatella is creamy and stringy in the best way. The sun-dried tomatoes had a tasty marinade. The space is open floor with some cozy corner and warm lighting. There's lots of space to stretch out. I really enjoy the coffee from here, the beans are from Columbia and you can taste the difference in the coffee. Every time we come, staff is friendly the ambiance is inviting. The prices are a bit high compared to other coffee places, but it's worth it, I prefer to support small businesses and the beans are imported so they are better then your Starbucks and chain coffee places. Ive been here more than 5 times and the coffee every time is the exact same and consistent. The only thing is I wish the menu was a bit more in depth and listed the types of lattes they can make like other coffee places have. read more

This is a Colombian owned business that uses Colombian coffee. They use Monin syrup which is one of the best. I ordered an iced latte with pistachio milk (only 3 ingredients) with 1 pump of vanilla. Very very good coffee. I will definitely be come back. read more

I work near this location that just opened up and I'm SO happy I do! I had the best experience here. Huge, aesthetic space to work remotely or grab coffee with a friend, lots of natural light, beautiful plants and a stunning, hand painted mural. Rose greeted me right away. She was warm and insightful, customer service was above and beyond. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had and I've worked in coffee shops so I know good coffee. The flavors were full bodied and delicious. The cherry on top is that they work directly with farms in Columbia and treat the workers well, Rose told me. I also grabbed a butter croissant because they looked so good and it did not disappoint. Fresh, warm and buttery. Safe to say I will be a regular here and have already shared my experience with my coworkers. We need more local businesses like this in our community so let's support them! :) read more

They lowered their prices since opening, a 12 oz latte is now $7.50, which is still pricy but the drink quality is high so i get it. Great latte! You'd be surprised how many baristas burn the milk and ruins the taste of the espresso but my latte at Honesto was perfect. And they have a turkey pesto sandwich with sun dried tomatoes that is SO killer. I went in not terribly hungry thinking I'd only eat half the sandwich and take the rest home and immediately ate EVERYTHING.
