Good pizza. I ordered large pepperoni pizza and came to pickup on Wednesday night. I did not have to wait. The place is small and had enough space for some people and there are 4 chairs if you need a seat while waiting for your food. They do special deal on Tuesday. The store was busy as I barely can get a parking spot to pick up my pizza. Pizza tastes good, I wish the dough could be a bit thicker. read more

Delicious pizza! Takeout only. The crust is a bit thicker and has a really nice, buttery chew to it. Perfect amount of toppings to crust ratio. Just that small amount of grease from the pepperoni to make it extra flavorful. It got a bit soggy on the bottom, but I didn't let that deter me from eating 3 pieces (they are cut a bit smaller). read more

Tried Carbones for the first time last night and the pizza did not disapppoint! I was very pleased with it and found it was even a little sweet. We ordered buffalo wings which I loved as well as sweet and sour which is typically my favorite, but for some reason they were super dry. It's possible this was a fluke so I will keep an open mind and try ordering wings from there again! read more

The pizza is excellent. The crust is really well done as a thick, gooey, moist base that adds to the pizza experience.

Pizza was good. A little thick for my taste, but the cheese, sauce and toppings were on point.

Picked up 1/11/26 at 6:50pm. We were right on time at 6:50. The pizza was Cold, Overcooked and horribly dry due to having no sauce. We threw this pizza away after eating half a slice. We will not be back. Whoever was cooking pizzas tonight sucks at their job. read more

Picked up pizza for dinner at my granddaughters. I didn't order ahead. When I entered the shop I was greeted immediately by a very friendly employee. (Dan) A few other employees smiled and said hello. Dan took my order gave me a time and said he would bring it out to my car when it was ready. I had never been to this pizza shop before and found it very clean, well run with a friendly staff which is hard to find in this day and age. BTW the food was excellent. read more

My brother used to live in Greece and this was our go to. When I lived in the city near Irondequoit this pizza was worth crossing the River for. I went to a friend's house for pizza and she had gotten a Carbines because it's simply the best pizza. It's best even when it's been sitting out waiting for you to arrive. I had three slices. Born and raised in Chicago, I don't often try pizza out of the city. A few years ago, a friend had me try a slice and I was so pleasantly surprised. I have lived all over this country and this is the closest pizza that reminds me of home. It is not Chicago pizza by any means but they do it their own and it's not that cracker crust New York slice. The wings are also really really good and I highly reccomend them. Just be thoughtful that they get slammed so it's not a quite pick up. read more

Bing New to the area I was on my way to a Thai restaurant. I saw this pizza lace and all the cars in the parking lot. I turned around and stopped. It was Sunday, football on the TV. I wanted slices and wings. No slices on Sunday. So medium Pizza and wings. Very good the pizza had a thicker crust, not Neapolitan pizza but not thin crust. Good sauce, The wings are good but not unique. Just spicy and good. The blue cheese dressing was a good quality and flavor. There is no dining room , take out only. I ate in my car. This place had gone from one of the best places in Greece to the worst. skimpy toppings and completely outdated ways of doing business. Last time I went there there was 2 small pieced of sausage per slice. terrible.. the wings were small and broken like they were abused and tortured chickens. They have online coupons that have to be printed, Who the hell has a printer nowadays??????. The girl said" we won't honor the deal unless the coupon is printed" I was going to order a bunch of pizza but took my business elsewhere. I'm sitting there looking at the deal online but could not take advantage. Awful customer service. Sad really. I would have to go somewhere to print a freaking coupon?? Grow up Carbones. I have heard a lot about Carbones pretty much that they are the best pizza around. I have mostly heard this from my Rochester born boyfriend who always tells me no pizza in California can compare. So I had high hopes when I finally made the pilgrimage to Carbones to try their sacred pizza with the fluffy dough and perfect pepperoni. My high expectations were definitely met! This is a great pie. The dough is indeed fluffy, yet crispy, maybe the NY water? The cheese to sauce ratio was well balanced, and the sauce was not too sweet or too herby, just the right mix. My slice was hearty yet delicate if that makes any scene. Not overly greasy and did not have me feeling like a slophouse after eating as some pizza does to you. Also was really impressed by the wings. Some mighty fine wings and that boss sauce was glorious. I couldn't believe extra large pizzas and 2 massive orders of wings cost like $42, where I am from this would run you $60 plus. This place is the best pizza in Rochester hands down. I have been getting pizza from this place for over 30 years. I know people that drive from Chili to get pizza from there. All those people that think NYC pizza is the best you must be smoking something. The chicken wings order was crispy and covered in Boss Sauce, However the wings were cooked thoroughly, the drumsticks weren't fully cooked and I started throwing up within 2 hours after eating the wings. Called the store and was told that food poisoning takes 12 hours to take effect and the food is cooked for a minimum of 25-30 minutes. Will never go back! read more
