    Dishonest from Saul... avoid!

    I would beware of the prices you see online, as they do not include the dealership mark ups and BS add-one. Which is usually true for most dealerships, but I'll tell you why this is not the place to buy a car. I found a good price on a CX-50 hybrid on cargurus and contacted them, asking for the OTD quote of 28500. They specifically said on the phone, "The add-ons are optional, they are just there so we protect our pricing and you don't use that quote to price match." But when we talk numbers, Saul says that's not true and "we price it low so you come in". I totally understand the mindset of a business but to me that's just dishonest and basically a bait and switch. I won't lie; the price wasn't even that bad but it just didn't feel right to do business like that so I left. Afterwards, Saul texts me to do 24700 out the door, which had me skeptical so I asked him to email me the offer. Turns out, it wasn't 24700 out the door, it was 24700 including my down payment which was close to the marked up price. Saul man you gotta have some morals, not everything is about profit and [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jordan, if you see this, shoutout to you because I really enjoyed our time together during the test drive and your kind demeanor. You weren't pushy about the add-ons and it's unfortunate that your management is doing these kinds of business practices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope you can find a better place to work at because you are awesome, but I feel the environment that you're in isn't great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would give a 1 star for Saul but Jordan deserves a 5 star.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But overall since Saul is the "#2 in command", CardinaleWay Mazda is a 2 for me, avoid and find a better, honest dealership.

    Extremely Disappointed - Ongoing Damage and Zero Accountability I've been a loyal Mazda customer since 2019 and have always received excellent service at other Mazda dealerships -- until I came to CardinaleWay Mazda in Corona. All of this started on September 22, 2025. What should have been a simple oil change turned into a nightmare of poor service, new damage to my vehicle, and complete lack of follow-up. After my first visit, my car came back with a large scratch on the rear passenger door and white spots on the headlights (which I initially assumed were from a bad wash, so I didn't bring it up at that time, once home i discovered all this dots splashed under the hood and would not come off with water and soap). The manager, Christina, initially agreed to repair the scratch, but communication has not been the best-- she never called back when promised. I dropped off the car September 24th 10:24AM. I went back to pick up my car September 27th at 1:00pm. When I finally picked up my car, although the first scratch had been repaired, new damage appeared on the driver's door, along with paint issues on the trunk and passenger side. I documented everything with photos and videos, yet when I brought this to the manager's attention, she implied I wasn't being truthful, despite clear evidence. She told me she found it "hard to believe all these things happened here," even though similar complaints exist in their own Google reviews (such as one from Thy Nguyen about vehicle damage six months ago). In my frustration, and not wanting to go back to this place, I tried using a pen that Mazda sales with paint color that matches your car, but unfortunately for me this did not fix the problem. On Monday, October 6, Christina told me the director would be in that week and she'd call me by Wednesday. That call never came. When I called again today, she said they would only "patch it up" because the director did not authorize a proper fix. She was rude and impatient, even though I am the customer dealing with repeated dealership-caused damage. She insisted their touch-up person was "a professional," so I gave them one last chance. I brought my car in -- and all they did was dab three small dots of paint over the damage. That was the extent of their "repair." To give an idea of the lack of service quality, when I first arrived for service, there was no greeting or introduction from the service representative (Austin -- I only learned his name later when the manager mentioned it). At every other Mazda dealership I've visited, I'm greeted professionally, they use protective mats and seat covers, and they take care to respect the customer and their vehicle. None of that happens here. I've wasted hours returning to this dealership, calling for updates that never come, and dealing with ongoing negligence and dismissive attitudes. CardinaleWay Mazda's lack of accountability and customer service is deeply disappointing and does not reflect the Mazda brand I've come to trust. I truly hope Mazda Corporate takes note, as this dealership has seriously damaged its reputation. (In the pictures, you can't see the initial damage to the rear passenger door, the white dots, and the last pictures you can see the car with no damage, then the chips to the driver door, date, time, location of pictures, then how they try to patch it up, you can see the wet droplets of paint, and then how it looks after it's dry that is not acceptable.)

There was no unnecessary back and forth or pressure, just an honest and professional transaction. Going into it, I honestly wasn't sure what the truck was worth. After spending time researching the market and comparing similar trucks, I realized it was priced very fairly. It was a 2023 dump truck with only about 40,000 miles, and it ended up being a great value. Like we do with every vehicle we purchase, I had my independent mechanic inspect it from top to bottom. The only things we did were our standard maintenance items: an oil and filter change, spark plugs, and a coolant flush. Those are things we do on every vehicle we buy anyway. Other than that, the truck checked out great, and there weren't any unexpected repairs waiting for us. To me, that really speaks volumes about the way they do business. There's a reason they've been around for so long and have earned so many positive reviews. They represented the truck honestly, had everything ready when I arrived, and respected my time. I'll definitely be back the next time our company is in the market for another truck. Highly recommended.

In the past I have had good experiences with the Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona's Service Department and staff. This time they fell a little short. I came in for routine service on my vehicle that includes their "Multii Point Inspection". I discovered that the air filter more than likely was not inspected (see photo). Possibly the service tech just forgot to check and advise. I did notify they of the issue and I was happy to hear them taking responsibility by offering to replace the filter at no-charge if I drive back. Maybe they will extend the offer to my next visit?Unfortunately, I was already home when I discovered the dirty filter and purchased a new one at a local auto parts shop. Thank you for owning up to it.
