First I would like to say I couldn't have been any happier with the service care now provided me at this location! From the smiles the staff provided can light up a room! The best care now that I've been to. Easy walk-in, no wait or you can check-in from home and they'll let you know when to come down. There was an issuse with my insurance that Ana and Nancy at the front desk were able to help me fix right away. Stopped by Urgent Care Extra on a Thursday 4:30pm because I had a terrible sore throat. There was no wait (actually no other patients at all) and I was able to get checked in immediately. The front desk lady was very nice. Like all the other clinic forms, they make you fill out your name/address/birthday/etc several times across all the forms. Not sure why they did that. Both waiting area and exam room were clean and pleasant to be in. I was able to see the doctor within 10 minutes and he was able to quickly diagnose my problem as hand-foot-mouth infection (which I suspected also). While the doctor was very friendly and super efficient, I didn't walk away feeling that the doctor was as "proficient" as I would like. Then again, it's a quick care clinic and he did correctly diagnose my issue. The doc assigned a prescription and I was out within 30 minutes. For quick and easy fixes, Urgent Care Extra would be my choice. Anything more, I would check to see if your primary care has an same day open spot. read more

I needed to take my daughter for a physical so that she could particpate in sports for school. The front desk girl told me i needed to print a coupon for the sports physical to be $25, otherwise it would be $50. I was going to go home, but checked on my phone and it said on the website that I could just show my phone to them for discount. It made me feel she was not knowledgeable and that she could have sent me all the way home for no reason. I had a very good experience here. Arrived at around 11 AM on a Wednesday morning, empty waiting room! I came in, waited probably less than 5 minutes, and was seen and treated for a sinus infection. The doctor, Maria Barlaan, promptly came to look at me and prescribed three medications to treat my symptoms. Currently on the second day and I am feeling much better. I did take off a star because I originally scheduled to come in online and filled out all my information and went to the Care Now in mountains edge on Southern Highlands Parkway, but they are currently not accepting Medicaid patients temporarily, so I had to drive an additional 15 minutes. I understand that isn't their fault but they failed to let me know before I had drove there, and the front office didn't even know until he asked a doctor. Overall the entire staff was quick and professional, and the facility was very clean and organized which I definitely appreciate. It has been the best experience I have had at an urgent care. First visit: I needed a note for work because I was sick and couldn't work. I was fairly certain I had Covid. I signed up for an appointment after 6 pm on a Wednesday, I got a text at 7:15 that they were ready for me. I immediately went in - only took me 5 minutes to get there. I waited in the lobby worried about infecting someone even though I had a mask. I was finally called back at almost 9. A very nice nurse gave me a covid test and took me to a room. After the 20 minutes when the test was done, nice Nurse Practitioner Escamis talked to me. He said to use vitamins and hopefully I would do okay without the antiviral. He gave me a note for work and I left at 9:30pm. A bit long of a time to be waiting and treated, but overall the nurse and NP were great. Second visit: Fast forward to 2 weeks later and I take the advice on the paperwork that says to return in a few days if you don't feel better. I was still feeling awful and worried that I now had a secondary sinus infection. I signed up online for first available on a Tuesday evening (I work so it's difficult to go to a regular doctor). Things were faster this time. I didn't wait too long before I got the text that they were ready for me. There was one person ahead of me, then I was called back after a short wait. I see that they put in my diagnosis for "Covid" even though I told them I was there for a secondary infection, so they didn't even get that right. I told the nurse that I didn't feel very improved from being very sick a few weeks ago and I didn't want to be ill any longer, I want to feel better. She asked if I would do a covid test. Sure, I was certain it would be negative. Dr Jackson came in to see me rather quickly. He acted as if he didn't want to be near me. His manner was not great. He listened to my chest and looked in my ears (telling me he was going to pull on my ear first - odd, but whatever). He couldn't be bothered to spend 30 seconds to look up my nose at my sinuses to see if they are infected. I tried to tell Mr. Jackson that I was coughing up mucus. He latched onto the "coughing" but seemed to mostly ignore "mucus". He also recommended to see a primary care physician. I'm new to the area and don't have one, plus I work regular weekday business hours, so it's difficult to go to anyone that isn't open in the evenings. I tired to tell him that I had been sick for over 2 weeks and not getting better! He acted like I had covid and didn't really seem to want to really help or figure out what was going on with me. He left the room after a few short uncomfortable minutes. A little bit later the nurse comes back, hands me my paperwork and ushers me out without really talking to me. I get out the door with my paperwork - then I see that I'm negative for the flu / covid, however I was given covid paperwork again (I got these on my first visit) - they didn't even tell me I was negative. I recovered from covid well over a week ago and I am not getting better! The prescription Dr Jackson gave me was for cough medicine, which I'm not really coughing, I just have excess mucus that won't go away. I also haven't gotten my voice totally back. The other prescribed medicine was for over-the-counter Mucinex and it lists a tablet for a sore throat that the pharmacist didn't even seem to know about. I'm fairly certain I'm still suffering from a sinus infection a week after this visit. The "PCP" referral service he said would contact me hasn't even bothered to reach out to me. Yes, I was seen quickly but the service was absolutely horrible. I am not sure what to do to get better. I don't want to go to the Blue Diamond location again even though it is very close. Mr. Jackson is one of the worst physicians I've ever been to (and I've been to a few bad ones over the years). I wouldn't recommend him or this place. He didn't even diagnose what is wrong with me and didn't seem to care or want to bother to attempt to try - just made incorrect assumptions. I could have been better by now if he would have spent a few extra minutes to help me and give me something to get rid of the mucus/sinus infection. This QuickCare is one of the worst medical facilities I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. All the staff aside from the front desk staff lacked empathy and refused to listen to their patients wants and needs. They had previously wrongfully diagnosed what we later found out was ovarian cysts as a UTI. When we went for a secondary opinion the doctors ran tests and said she had NO infection and instead her issues were from ovarian cysts. They held their patient against her will and coerced her into getting medical treatment that she repeatedly stated she did not want or need. Once admitted to the larger hospital down the street they ran blood tests and the staff actually listened to her circumstances and didn't understand why they had admitted her. They said they were unsure of when the specialist would be available to see her but that she could be discharged if she did not want to be there, which is what she had been trying to explain to CareNow staff the entire time. They then left the patient to deal with the costs of the unwanted care herself starting with a hefty ER bill. Do not go here if you want someone who will actually listen to you and take your circumstances into consideration whether that be mental, physical, or financial. read more

I'm leaving this review because the service I have received here at this location has been beyond exceptional. They have gone above and beyond to secure my needs and calm my fears. My husband and I tested positive for covid and the team here has done more than what was asked by calming the nerves (assuming the worst from the virus....and we are fine as they said we would be). Grace, Maria, Princess and Ana have been beyond amazing to us. If there any other urgent (but not emergent) needs I have I will not hesitate to drive here because the respect and the time dedicated to us is beyond any place I've ever visited. CareNow is the best urgent care I've visited. urgent care is typically not an enjoyable experience, with the long waits and typically unfriendly staff. At CareNow, They have in person and telehealth appointments, their online check in system is so easy and convenient. Little to no wait after you check in online. Dr. Maria and her MA princess are awesome, they are kind, they listened to my concerns, ran tests, and prescribed me medication to treat my symptoms. This was done very quickly, I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour. read more

Staff are fantastic but the notification system is awful. I signed up online at 9:30am and the earliest available time showing was 1pm. When I showed up at 1pm, I was told they weren't ready for me yet but that I would get a text telling me when to come back in 1/2 to 2 hours. At 2:40pm, I got a text telling me to come back. I came back, filled out paperwork & paid my co-pay. I then sat in the lobby until 5pm, enough time to watch a movie and hear over a dozen people come in needing Covid testing. I'm fine with not being seen until 5pm but would have preferred to wait at home. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I checked in online so I could wait with my little one at home instead of in the office. I get the text 4.5 hours later to come in promptly. I get there in 15mins and check in with the front. NANCY says she checks us in, so we sit and wait. 30mins pass and no one has called us so being my little one is sick, she starts crying to go home. NANCY then calls me to the desk & asks me "What are you doing here? Are you waiting for someone?" And I look at her confused. I tell her, "you checked me in remember?" And she LAUGHS IN MY FACE and says she forgot and didn't do it. She then says my appointment for my little one was cancelled and that I had to wait in their normal walk in line which was 2.5 hours. So I left, obviously disgruntled. This so called "health care worker" literally laughed in my face. No sense of care or regard for my sick child. So, if you take your health seriously, choose another location. read more

The care I received was disappointing. I am cardiac patient and was diagnosed with bronchitis. The prescriber refused to prescribe me a much needed antibiotic. I was told it was not needed. WRONG. Consequently my fever became worse. Subsequently I consulted with my primary doctor who prescribed me a antibiotic which was imperative. In addition the staff were rude. read more
