So we got a car from them and 5 months later the check engine light came on took it to Jeep dealership and they told me it was due to the engine leaking over time as well as poor maintenance of the vehicle! Save yourself some time and go to another dealer! We decide to purchase a car with them, and had a pre-approved loan so most would think easy purchase, not at all. From the get go we were given the run around with the paperwork they needed for us to purchase the car. They told us if we would work with their bank we would be able to sign for the car that same day and match my interest rate. After much hesitation on my part, we agreed. They immediately came back and told us their bank would not agree to provide us the loan. They didn't agree with adding an 18-year-old to the loan. We decided to go again with the pre-approved loan, lower interest rate anyway. Again, they continued with their run around on the paperwork as I worked with my bank. After days of back and forth, my loan representative at the bank informed us we could go in to purchase the car not the sales representative. This is when we should have stopped contacting them. No, I text the salesman to confirm the information and informed him we would head out that afternoon. We headed out after work on a Wednesday afternoon form Orange County to Rialto. A good hour and a half drive in bumper to bumper traffic we receive a text the car had been sold. We were literally ten minutes away! We decided to go talk to the manager, any explanation would be nice. The manager stopped us at the door. We asked, why he would allow for a car to be sold if he had all of our paperwork and confirmation from us, we were on our way? He said he had to sell because he was not certain we would be there. He said maybe if we would have just been there in the morning it could have been ours. Really??? Did he not know or remember we didn't get a call from his salesperson? After looking back at this experience, I am thankful I did not waste my money here. If you are not willing to negotiate a price and don't mind being given the run around with your pre-approval or their "bank loan" waste your time. It seems all they care about is their commission. We found our car and purchased it at Mossy Nissan in El Cajon. It was the same car only newer model, less mileage and the same price we were purchasing at their dealer. I highly recommend Mossy Nissan in El Cajon! They are professional and honest. They will go above and beyond to make the process as easy as it could be regardless of pre-approved loan. This review will be a bit long, but if you really are interested in knowing if you are buying from a reputable dealership, read the review. I was not asked to submit this review, and I was not paid to review them. I am the type of consumer who does not mind sharing my experiences, good or bad, about a business I spent my hard earned money with. I stand behind my review 100%. From my initial inquiry on, if the car I was interested in was available through the after delivery follow up, this dealership exceeded my expectations in every area of my purchase. Being nearly 60, I have purchased a lot of cars in my day. Mostly new...but a couple of used. I learned young how to buy a car on my terms. Most important, I learned that you had to know how to play the usual dealer's games if you had any chance of walking out with a fair deal. I was prepared to play the game at CarFam...but to my pleasant surprise, there were no games. My experience started with a simple text to their website inquiring about the availability of a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible. The website detailed it as in excellent condition...completely original (paint, leather seats, convertible top) with only 55,000 original miles, for only $10,999. A 13 yo car totally original, good paint, leather seats with no cracks or fading, convertible top that worked and was in new condition with very low mileage. I thought to myself....really? Within minutes I received a reply from Hugo, who would be my salesman throughout the entire process. He responded that the vehicle was still available...and then he continued responding with photos of the car...and then a video of the car....and then the full CarFax of the car...all 5 pages of it. I hadn't even stepped on the lot but within minutes I knew enough about the car and it's history that I just had to go see if it was as good as the photos, the video and the CarFax. Talk about first impressions. Hugo was so confident and transparent in the quality of this car that he had absolutely no hesitation in providing me with every detail I needed to feel comfortable with the car AND the dealership...up to that point. But with a history of dealing with used car dealerships...I have to be honest that there was still the lingering thought of the "to good to be true" mantra. But I set an appointment to go see the car and take it on a test drive. The Crossfire was parked directly in from of the building, clean and ready for inspection. And inspect I did. I checked the car from bumper to bumper, inside and out, under the hood, in the door jams and trunk. Other than a loose letter and a loose piece of trim, the car was exactly as it was described in the ad and in the photos. Hugo was there the entire time...45 minutes!! He didn't make me feel that I was wasting his time...he was interested in the customer standing in front of him...ME! Test drive?? How about road trip. lol The test drive lasted nearly 30 minutes. It wasn't a trip around the block. It was the 210 to the 215 to the 10 and back to the dealership. I remember joking that Hugo's boss might think I stole the car and kidnapped his salesman. Not once did Hugo pressure me to head back to the dealership...he wanted me to get the full experience of the car. I got to try out all facets of the car...city driving, highway driving, accelerating, braking, steering alignment. I listened for noises, rattles, loose parts. This car was exactly as advertised...maybe even more than advertised. It was at this point I knew I was going to buy this car. When it came to the deal, I made an offer, but I knew that this car was worth exactly what they were asking and had no issues with the asking price. But...it also included 3 day return policy, no questions asked, as well as a 30 day or 1000 miles limited warranty. You will find out that this is not an "AS IS" type of dealership. Magic and his team are reputable group. They arranged all the paperwork and financing at a reasonable rate. Everything in this deal was upfront and transparent. I took delivery of the car the next day. It's been a week and this car is incredible. This is not just an average used car dealership. My overall impression is that this is a dealership where you can buy a high quality used car with the confidence that you are not going to be taken. They earned their 5 Stars. read more

Obviously buying a car can only be so fun, but Hector made it as easy as someone can to buy a car. The car was exactly how I thought it would be, the Carfax was already ran for us, and they treated my family with respect and not like guppies. I would do business with them again. From that perspective. The actual car Now. Obviously if my car turns out to be a crazy bad lemon I feel like it will have to affect my rating somehow. They do provide their free one month warranty that apparently covers a decent amount of stuff. We'll see if that holds up if we would unfortunately need to use it.
