    Fried shrimp and fries amazing
    Scott A T.

Food was great, we had the Oxtails plate rice and vegetables and the fried shrimp and fries amazing and a beef patty. The service was fast, professional and friendly and they helped us through the menu since we never eaten Caribbean cuisine before. The atmosphere was friendly quiet with good music playing, some seating but mostly take out. Also, my wife had a dizzy spell while ordering and the staff quickly got her a chair before she also fell down. I am very pleased with this restaurant and we will return again soon.

Best Jamaican and Caribbean food in the area. A very diverse menu. From the oxtail and jerk chicken, to the Mac n cheese and potato salad;even the plantains. The food is never disappointing! Service is always fast and amazing. The staff is very friendly and hospitality. A true and warm, Caribbean atmosphere every visit.

Good Caribbean style food. The large Jerk chicken is huge, so you may get a small unless your appetite is large.

Surrounded by shipping containers, it is its own special space where you can find a seat and enjoy the food and drink you grab, play games you brought on the tables (think brewery type action on that front), or just hang out with friends. I had a t-rex burrito - brisket, beans, rice, roast poblanos and onions, avocado, cilantro and a crispy cheese shell while there. Best burrito I ever had? No, but my first choice would have been the food trucks (that were not scheduled to arrive while I was there) and next time, even if I still don't time it right, there will plenty of other things to try. That, with some board game time, two beers from the bar, and absolutely perfect weather for being outside, made for a great day here.

You could easily miss this hidden gem, tucked away on the corner beside a gas station. There are dine-in options, but most people seemed to be taking their food to go. It's the best quick to go option I've seen. They had my order ready in no time. I ordered an assortment of tacos: carne asada, birria, and fish tacos, plus a side of guacamole and chips. To top it all off, I added their homemade cheesecake casera with strawberry purée... and of course, a large agua de jamaica con limonada. The staff were some of the friendliest I've experienced in the area--must be because they're from Cali lol. My only suggestion would be to leave the sauces off the tacos for to-go orders, or explain that "all the way" means everything on them. By the time I got back to my hotel, the sauce had soaked through the tacos, so I missed that classic one-hand taco experience. Also... definitely add extra limes. Thankfully, those chips came to the rescue, and the flavors absolutely did not disappoint. Bottom line: it really did hit close to home. The flavors were on point, and the true winners of it all were the fish tacos and the cheesecake.

Extremely disappointing customer service after 10+ years as a customer…read more I placed an online order for about $50 worth of food. When I arrived, I was told their system had undercharged me by $2. No problem, I was happy to pay the difference. Instead of simply letting me pay the $2 and giving me the order I placed, they told me they had already made something different and that I could either take the wrong tacos or buy two additional tacos. I had to argue just to receive the order I had already placed and paid for. The issue started because their online system only allowed me to select one meat option for a 3-taco order. My wife is pregnant and specifically wanted three carne asada tacos, so I selected carne asada (with the $1 upcharge) and placed the order along with about $35 more in food. When I arrived, they had made tacos with random meats instead and suggested I just take them. After finally agreeing to fix it, they insisted I pay the difference but charged me $3 plus tax instead of the $2 they originally said. I questioned it, and immediately after charging me they admitted it actually was $2. By then I had already been overcharged and no one seemed concerned about fixing it. So to summarize: * Their system glitch caused the issue * I was willing to pay the difference immediately * I had to push just to receive the order I placed * They overcharged me anyway and didn't correct it All of this over $2. After more than a decade of supporting this place, the way this was handled left a really bad impression. The food has always been good, but the customer service during this interaction was extremely poor. I won't be back.

My daughter suggested we head to Starland Yard to celebrate her graduation from college. Starland is a neat spot with several stationary restaurants and a few food trucks that roll in...different ones every day. We chose the Naked Dog. Man...it was really worth it. For some, a $12 hot dog might seem steep. It was a gourmet dog and It came with fries, so I thought that was fair. My dog was perfect. Fresh bread...incredible toppings and ample portions. The fries on the side were seasoned very well also. It was a great hot dog meal. The rest of our party had other menu items from Dog: 1) Cheese fries - highly rated 2) Loaded fries--- VERY highly rated 3) cheeseburger - highly rated (it looked incredible) 4) a dog with jalapeños, etc. - very highly rated I have chased good hot dogs all over America and as far as Switzerland. The naked dog was a top 5 experience. When in Savannah, they are worth finding--- I know I will find them again...

During the COVID-19 quarantine we have had several local food trucks from the area rotate for lunch/dinner during the week. I am so sad I only made it to The Naked Dog once before I moved back north. I am a hot dog lover, so imagine my difficulty in not ordering every variation from the menu! My husband and I decided on a few to split (not knowing their size): a classic Naked dog with classic toppings (ketchup, mustard, relish); a slaw dog; a Reuben dog; and a Chicago dog. If I could be speechless in a written Yelp review, I'd leave it at that. The dogs were jumbo sized, toppings were plentiful, tasty and temperature just right. The slaw dog was my absolute favorite - the cole slaw had the perfect consistency and was simple enough to not overpower the dog itself. The Reuben was a legit sandwich on a burger, pastrami and all. The dressing was perfect. The Chicago was classic and wonderful, complete with the unique green Chicago relish. Last but not least, smoothies! What better pair than a smoothie and a dog? We tried peach and strawberry. They were fruity, had chunks of real fruit and were not overly sweet. Just amazing! Y'all, please go have a hotdog or three on my behalf until I'm able to return to Savannah again!

The best items we had was their house margarita that was just tequila, lime juice, and agave, but it wasn't freshly made and was just poured from a large container. Which is fine, but I started to question how long it had been sitting there and if they do make it fresh every evening or not. My pork belly tacos were good but our carnitas and barbacoa tacos were not. I couldn't even finish it. The place was fairly clean and had cute decorations. You order at a counter and pay before you even sit down so I don't think it's really a full service restaurant. All the workers were really nice, the food just wasn't good. 4 tacos + chips & queso + 2 margaritas for $50 before tip.
