The hostess was very professional and really nice and there was a bit of a wait at 11:30 on a Saturday so we elected to sit outside in the 112° heat, but no worries! Their misters and the cool breeze that comes along this portion of SCOTTSdale Boulevard makes it perfectly fine. And in addition, the servers are nice and very fast and responsive-!-and the food comes out so very quickly that it was a breeze! I love that they have the protein and veggie options à la carte so that you can stick with your high protein or keto diet like I'm on! My friend and I and my son came here after the Titanic exhibit. My son can be a bit of a picky eater, but he ate up the chocolate chip pancakes. I don't even know if there were crumbs left. I got a traditional eggs Benedict, which was so good and because as usual, my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I also got their biscuit and gravy and slab bacon. Everything I ordered was so delicious. I love how sweet and spicy the bacon was. Pricewise I think it's just the typical cost. You would see anywhere nowadays. I ordered the French toast and he ordered the club sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals. They did end up putting Aioli on his sandwich which was not he expected. Cute brunch spot with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a designated parking lot in the back. The bathroom was clean. Everyone was friendly. We were greeted at the door. We had to wait for about 20 minutes but nothing too crazy. My food was really good for the most part. I thought for sure that the grits were marked as VG (vegetarian). I took a small bite and it tasted a little off. I took another small bite and it tasted like meat grease in it. I asked the waiter and she didn't think it was cooked with any meat products but said she'd check. She came to say it's cooked with meat fat and quickly asked if I was a vegetarian. We came here one morning with my grandparents after seeing good reviews. There was a long line and wait but they got people in and out quickly. They have a cute diner like setup inside and a nice patio area overlooking old town. We waited about 45 minutes, which was fine because you're easily able to walk around old town while you wait and we got a wonderful table outside! Our waitress was phenomenal, she was timely and polite. I love that she took the ladies orders first and she was kind when my eggs came out over easy (I ordered over medium). She did not hesitate and was prompt in helping! I had the original breakfast with bacon, sourdough, eggs, and fruit. The portion was perfect. I love that they had everything and their sourdough was unbelievable. I think they mildly butter it but it was honestly one of the best sourdoughs I've had. We came here on Sunday, the busiest brunch day of the week, and had a wonderful experience! Madelyn was our server and she was fantastic. Our food came out promptly, pipping hot, and with a smile. My husband ordered a few items under the "Toast" options and both the fig & prosciutto and mushroom toasts were delightful. I enjoyed the flavor and freshness of the Cantaloupe Gin Fizz (okay, two of them!) and our friend loved her Strawberry Mimosa. All of our meals were top notch in presentation and flavors. I highly recommend the Short Rib Hash and Chorizo Benedict. We were seated at the round table inside, front and center of the dining room entrance. The restaurant was busy and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation across the large table. The music was at perfect volume for the bustling crowd of brunch goers. The Breakfast Club was recommended to me by the owner of Cook & Craft, another local restaurant in Scottsdale, as "the best brunch spot" in the area as he's been there many times. It's nice to see restaurants and owners supporting each other's businesses, it gives this large city a little dose of small town charm. We'll be back and hopefully soon. First, fabulous coffee. Table arrangements don't maximize seating. It wasn't crowded but put us in a table by the window. Halfway through we're sweating. Anyway, super friendly staff though. Spouse got barbacoa omelette. It was really big. Plus two giant slices of sourdough toast. She really liked it. I got the gyro hash with 3 eggs, hash browns and a side of pancakes. The has was dry. Despite visiting on a busy Thursday, the staff was incredibly efficient; they quoted us a 20-minute wait, but we were seated at a great window booth in less than ten. The vibe is the perfect mix of "old-time cool" and modern hip. Our server was top-shelf, walking us through the vast menu with expert detail. Here is what we shared: BC Brioche French Toast: Made with granola, candied nuts, and sweet cream. It sounded rich, but it was perfectly balanced and beautifully plated. Blueberry Pancakes: Light and delicate with lemon zest--so flavorful they didn't even need syrup! Biscuits & Gravy: My husband said these were the best he's ever had, especially paired with that thick slab bacon. Cottage Bacon Benedict: My brother-in-law substituted the cottage bacon for the slab bacon and devoured it. The true test of their service came when a syrup container accidentally broke, pouring syrup all over our table. The staff was incredible--they didn't miss a beat. They quickly and happily moved us to a new table and immediately began cleaning and sanitizing the sticky mess so we could finish our meal in comfort. This was easily the best breakfast we've had anywhere. Between the delicious food and the "above and beyond" service, you've got to try this place! If you love breakfast and brunch like me, this place is a dream :) The Steak & Eggs ($23) with a pancake on the side hit the spot. Lots of families and large groups dining in and dogs allowed for outdoor seating. Ordered an iced americano and The Bird Omelet. The americano was light in flavor but got the job done for a morning wakeup. The Bird Omelet 3.5/5 was disappointing. The turkey is just sliced turkey and while theres a lot, I wish it was shredded or cubed turkey, something with more texture and flavor. Lots of avocado in the omlete as well, not as much mushrooms.
