The best item I've tried on the menu so far is the curry. It's full of flavor, not bland like some Curry tends to be. I've had the curry goat, curry shrimp, as well as the curry chicken. All three were a hit. If I had to suggest anything, it's to call ahead to place your order. There's not anywhere to sit inside so if you place your order and have to wait, you'll most likely be standing for a little while, the place gets busy especially around lunch time. I charged food from the restaurant on 1/5/26 that I didn't receive. I asked how long before picking up-I was told about twenty five minutes. My food was given to a delivery service which I didn't request. My order was never delivered to my home. I called the restaurant back after waiting so long. I advised the representative there they never called for me to pick up the food. She put me on hold and came back saying it was given to Door_Dash for delivery. I didn't request DoorDash. Picking up food for friends - two small orders of stewed chicken, a piece of cake and a bottle of ginger beer was $29. It's a small cafe which can get crowded quickly. Expect it to seem a bit loosely operated, but they turn orders pretty quickly. Seating area is better for waiting on orders - rather than dining in. Made my way thru some of the menu and I can so-far recommend the porridge, callaloo & saltfish, fish tea, king fish, and brown stew/curry chicken. Me and my girlfriend went there just not too long ago and we ordered mannish water soup and fish tea. We got what looked like a grayish looking broth that's salty and bland! We got ackee and salt with ground provisions and oxtail with rice and peas. The food is just tasteless and not even worth the money! The oxtail tasted almost raw and undercooked as in the meat just studied to the bone and was pink inside. The ackee and saltfish was just salty and oily.... I would never ever go back to this place.
