I really struggle to see how this location has such low reviews. I can't recall a single bad experience at this location. Although I didn't frequent much during the pandemic, and that might be the time frame where people were having bad experiences, my most recent visits were on par with what I expect from many other caribou's. The location has plenty of parking as it is located in the strip mall. Inside the decor matches the cabin like feel at many other caribou's with lots of dark woods and leathers amongst the tables, wall decor and seating. The space is separated by a fireplace wall so it creates multiple seating areas and cuts down on the noise throughout the space. The service is friendly and comparable to other coffee shops. They are doing their best to get orders out quickly but if there is a line, expect a bit of a wait so practice patience. I've never had to wait long but often the drive through line can be very long which adds to the overall wait time inside and in drive thru. The drinks are consistent and tasty. Caribou's drinks tend to be on the sweeter side so if you aren't looking for a complete sugar rush consider asking for half the syrups. Overall I think that this location is a great spot to grab a coffee either why you're out running errands or want to meet and catch up with a friend.

I've tried to be kind during covid but there are some things you can't simply overlook. Due to staff shortages, the hours now are ridiculous and this has essentially become a drive through only store that has sizable waits during commute times. We haven't even hit the winter season yet and my first confusion was when they encouraged you to only pay with your credit card due to the coin shortage and now you have to push a button indicating a tip prior to finishing your purchase. When did drive through become too suggested /mandated? Tipping is traditionally tied to service and in a drive through only world the driver is doing all the extra work, this practice makes no sense or at least have a no tip button available. (For clarity I am a generous tipper and have experience with service industry). To not have any coffee available at major chains in the afternoon in metro suburbs is insane and caribou isn't good enough to wipe out the in person experience.

    They have put door seating!

I love Caribou Coffee! The people are one the most friendliest and most helpful individuals around! Our sever was knowledgeable about the new fall drinks and gave great suggestions. They are quick to get your orders out and they always hand it to you with a smile! The coolers and crafted drinks are made well and are sweet. So if you don't have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their regular coffee drinks or even their tea (the mango black is top notch!) This chain is a much loved coffee shop in the Midwest!

They just sprayed us with coffee and gave us a sorry excuse for an apology. They almost didn't give us a towel either. She didn't even look up and see what she did, just said "my bad". Totally soaked our coats and hair. She couldn't have cared less. She never came out behind the counter to make it right either. Sorry excuse for a Caribou. Her name is Jordan, Incase corporate wanted to know.

I don't understand why this location has such bad reviews! Our experience was a pleasant one. Upon…read morewalking in, we both commented on how nice both the exterior and interior were. It looks like it's been recently updated and has a sleek, yet comfortable and cute style. The girl at the register was friendly and waited patiently while we bumbled around deciding what we wanted. At 1 pm on a Friday, the place was nearly empty, and the wait time for our food and coffee was not long. The menu is, of course, the same as all the other locations, and we noticed no variance in the quality or price of the food between this location and the recently-closed Golden Valley one. We had the Herbivore, the Hummus Veg Out, an iced latte, and a mocha. The Herbivore (your choice of bagel with garlic & herb cream cheese, arugula, tomato, and cucumber) is my usual, and we both agree it's our favorite thing on the menu. Boyfriend liked his Hummus Veg Out, but wished he'd gone with the Herbivore this time as well. The only time I can be persuaded to drink Caribou coffee is when it's my only option to accompany an Einstein Bros bagel, but it's just not good. My iced latte was, therefore, about as good as can be expected. Kinda bitter and watery, but it got the job done. I will miss getting to make quick morning runs to the Golden Valley location for the Herbivore and Einstein's dark roast! Overall, that location was better. But this one will do now that it's closed. Sayonara, GV Einstein! :(

We decided to try this place on a Sunday morning around 11:30am. It was not busy at all, which…read moreshould probably have been our first red flag. Maybe three people were there, all waiting for their orders. We have been to other Einstein Bros. locations and had great food and experiences, but not here. The person taking orders was not terribly friendly, but not too bad. They had clearly just burned something in the kitchen because the place was full of smoke and they went to prop the doors open while we ordered. The place was not very clean and the bench seats were very old with vinyl peeling off, the other seats seemed fine. I ordered a blueberry bagel, toasted, with butter and a vanilla cold press. My partner ordered an everything bagel with hot honey schmear and a plain cold press. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Rather than make our coffee right away the person stood with their back to us, watching the kitchen. There were two people working in the kitchen, so I don't know why things moved so slowly. We stood waiting for a good five minutes before we gave up and sat down. Finally they made our coffee. Instead of a vanilla cold press I got a vanilla latte. Oh well, I wasn't going to wait again for the right order and a vanilla latte is fine. The lid was not put on properly so when I went to pick it up the lid popped off and coffee spilled out everywhere. The person behind the counter looked at it and walked away. Fine, my mess so I was fine cleaning it up then going to wash my hands. The bathroom had a keypad on the door but the code was posted right on the keypad, so why? It would be easy enough to remove the keypad and skip the bother. After a good 20 minutes we finally got our bagels. My partner's bagel was fine, but my bagel tasted more like garlic than blueberry. Again, I wasn't going to wait for another bagel so I just ate it. Also, no apology or explanation for the delay, just drop the bag, call our name, walk away. There is a drive through but no customer was there either. The drive through attendant just stood there, also watching the kitchen. Overall a terrible experience. Next time we want bagels it will be worth the drive to go to a different store.

I've been here many times but this was the first time I've done take out instead of ordering in. Guess I have to verbally place my order for them to get it right next time. More than 20 min for 6 un-cut bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese. The woman on the register acknowledged that she was new but...she could not hear or understand orders and did not know menu. She messed up input on every order, had to ask the customer what was in a standard herby turkey sandwich, then had to walk to the guys making sandwiches to correct it orally. When i finally placed my order i waited and waited. Asked the 2 guys behind the counter if someone was going to get my bagels. One said he was working an on-line order and it would be a while. I said "there are two of you...". The other was just talking to him and then laughing at my question. The seating area was not clean. Overall bad experience. I'll drive to the West End location next time!
