The fusion of Chinese food and Latin food has seen a surge of popularity on social media, so places like this are seeing a resurgence. Caridad China appears to be Puerto Rican Chinese (based solely on the giant Puerto Rican flag design on our table). We started off with "dim sum" (basic dumplings) which were tasty albeit a bit "rubbery" for me personally (not so for the others in our party). We also tried the "tostones vinaigrette" which was essentially cup-shaped tostones filled with chicken or shrimp in a red sauce, similar in flavor to ropa vieja. The raw onion wasn't to my liking but the taste overall was good. We then shared the BBQ pork ribs and sweet & sour chicken. By far the crowd favorite was the sweet & sour chicken - whether accompanied with fried rice or classic tostones- it was absolutely delicious. The ribs were good but standard (& a bit fatty). The restaurant is definitely low key but inside it is nicely appointed and the service was prompt. Price-wise we found some of the items to be higher than expected for a low key establishment like this. We overall it was a positive experience and I am definitely curious to try out some of their other menu items.

This place is down the block from my house. We used to go when it was different owners. We when inside and ordered to go. We ordered steak with onions and chicken chunks (chicharron de pollo sim hueso) we also asked for pork fried rice instead of regular white rice and beans. And they didn't up charge for that like other places do . Food was done fairly quickly. Got home opened the food big portions you can share. The steak was delicious the chicken was not great tasted more like strips than Spanish chicken. The platters came with salad. They added the lettuce and tomato inside the platter it was hot soggy and gross. Some places put the salad on the side. They also only gave two duck sauces. Next time we will ask for more. Not sure if i would sit there to eat but will definitely order the steak again.

This place is not cheap. Lunch cost about $35 because the lunch menu only had a handful of things so I ordered off the main menu. This was my first time eating sesame shrimp. It was really good but I didn't care for the long grain of rice that was used. 7.5/10 I got a side of plantains with garlic sauce 10/10. I will return.

Ordered from a popular food delivery app. While I'll always enjoy the food, via delivery it's not the same as when you eat at the restaurant so I recommend dining at the restaurant or take out pickup yourself unless you're close by. It's much better fresh out of the kitchen than waiting on delivery when you live a distance away.

the food here is really good even though its basic. the steak with onions was amazing and the fried rice had so much stuff in it - ham, char siu, shrimp. mofongo was cooked well but personally enjoyed the steak more - honestly preferred it to a steakhouse i went to the week before. portions are huge and service is great!

Best Chinese food I've ever had. The general tso's chicken wasn't your run-of-the mill frozen variety; instead a delicious spread of fresh chicken cooked in sauce. The pork fried rice was flavorful and the pork was fresh and plentiful. Delivery took less than 30 minutes, which was insanely quick considering the 1 1/2-2 mile distance at prime lunch hour. Haven't tried the Hispanic options, but I have no doubt that they're just as good. My go-to spot for Chinese from now on! read more

If your are looking for latin-chinese infusion while not breaking the bank this place is a great find! The food here is good although I do wish garlic shrimp had more flavor. The waiteress was nice but I did feel she could of been a bit more attentive. This place isn't perfect but keep in mind you will get lots of food for a very low price so you are getting what you pay for. Overall I enjoyed my meal and left satisfied. How does this place have good reviews? I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and the veggie soup on seamless. The rice has no descritipn or add buttons. So you think its the more expensive option so it probably has the egg and veggies as almost every place does. Again absolutely no description. What do I get soy sauce/oil coated plain rice with 5 little shrimps. My veggie soup basicall boiled ramen with a few veggies. Again there was no description that said it had ramen noodles. So I called the place and the workers says I should have known that if I wanted veggies and egg I should have written it? What? WTF? There is no descriptions, what do I know what they do or do not offer or if there is a upcharge. At this point I am pissed as she keeps arguing with me and request a refund as the items had no description and it is just awful quality. She hangs up the phone on me. I end up fighting with Seamless to get my refund and they just put it as a cancel order so I cannot right a review. I am pretty sure they pay for their reviews as the food is garbage. Litetally the worst Chinese food I ever. Save your money this place should not be in business. I throw the food in the trash. read more

This is hands down the best delivery Chinese food in the area. I order the general Tso's chicken with their fried rice, and it was incredible! The chicken was all white meat, and the portions were HUGE. I had my piping hot order within 30 minutes, for about 12 bucks an entree. Will most definitely order from here again. read more

The chicken with garlic sauce is REAL Garlic, which was great! The only bad thing is the breath after :) The fried rice is awesome cuz they actually have shrimp in them also but it can use some more flavor. read more

So I was desperate for some good Chinese food that wouldn't be too greasy and suspect. I found this place, checked out the photos and reviews and took a chance. I ordered General Tsos chicken and Shrimp with Broccoli. The food was delivered within a reasonable time. The General Tso Chicken was DELICIOUS and edible without any worry about if it was real and actual chicken. (Which is always problematic at many restaurants that serve this dish). That dish was my favorite. However, the shrimp and broccoli was not very good. The shrimp was undercooked and the broccoli had a smell to it. It didn't seem fresh or maybe it was rushed when made... Not sure. It was also bland. I would definitely order again when I'm craving General Tso Chicken because the portion was huge and I was eating from it for like two days. This place would be my go-to for that and maybe next time I'll try something else on the menu. read more

Notes- Most dishes are a bit more, so see the photos, but not by much…read more I have been to this Ecuadorian restaurant twice at this point, though last time was long enough ago that even with my usual vast food memory, I barely remember what we ordered outside of it all tasting good. The most recent time was a few days ago, and it was excellent. The staff is nice, and the portions are generous for the price point, with two of us taking home leftovers out of the four people dining. To drink, three of us had shakes, or rather batidos, with the prices being $7 en agua or $8 en leche. I went with Lulo, which is listed as Solanum online, but really refers to naranjilla. As per the name, it means a little orange, but it is closer in flavor to a mix between pineapple and lime. Others had Maracuyá/passion fruit and Guanábana/soursop, and everyone enjoyed their drinks. They gave us some chulpi/corn nuts on the table, along with some aji verde, a lightly spicy green sauce which went with some of our heavier appetizers. Our heavier appetizer was two orders of the Bolón Mixto for $10. Bolon refers to a green plantain ball, and they offer the traditional cheese version along with chicharron, or with camarones/shrimp. The mixto combines the cheese and pork, and it was delicious, but very filling. One was more than enough, but we still enjoyed it, with the aji verde helping to reduce the overall richness. There was also the $6.50 Yapingachos/Llapingacho, or pan-fried potato cakes. These came two to an order and came topped with an onion and tomato salsa, along with some lettuce below. The potato cakes were a lot lighter by comparison to our other appetizer, but still flavorful. I would recommend them, as with other people who go here. Our smaller main dish was the Ceviche de Pescado for $17.00, or fish cocktail served either with rice or, as our choice, chifles or fried plantain chips. This was also available as a mixto, but I didn't order it as I have a pulpo allergy. There was a large amount of fresh fish inside for the price, making it very worth it. As with most ceviches, there was some sourness from the lime along with some fresh chopped herbs, onions, and tomatoes. It lacked a bit of heat I usually prefer, but I still liked it, and the whole thing was devoured quickly. Our other main dishes were all $19. My favorite of the bunch was the Seco de Chivo, with goat stew slowly cooked in home-made sofrito and beer, served with yellow rice, sliced avocado, and sweet plantain. The goat was cooked down until it was extremely tender, but still had a bit of chew, and there was a good amount of meat, even with the amount of bones in there. The broth was savory and mildly sweet, being warming, comforting, and perfect on top of the rice. This was excellent. For most of the other group, their favorite was the Chaulafan, a mix of stir-fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp, egg, and veggies served with sweet plantain and avocado. The rice had a nice texture with some lightly crispy portions and was mildly salty. The meat inside was mostly very tender, regardless of what meat it was. This was excellent as well. The remaining dish was the Sango de Camarones, listed as a tropical dish and a purée of green plantains, slowly cooked in peanut sauce and shrimp, and topped with citrus red onions served with yellow rice and sliced avocado. The dish had a unique, almost gruel-like texture, which was a bit off-putting to some, but others like myself liked it. The shrimp inside was tender, and the dish felt a bit richer than the other mains. This was probably our least favorite main, but it was still good. We were quite full, but got some $7 Flan for dessert, which is in-house made. It wasn't overly sweet, which is my preference, and the texture was semi-soft. It was a good version, and the portion was large for the price. We liked this as well. Not many complaints here. Friendly service and good, reasonably priced food.

My receipt shows the phrase "salsa criolla" twice (see my photo), meaning there is no excuse for them to have forgotten it this time. This is so unfortunate, because I truly do love their food! However I can no longer trust them. Note to management: train your staff to double-check orders before sending them out. Your receipts literally list out every single component needed for an order to be complete, so there is absolutely no excuse for incomplete orders to keep being sent out like this.

I'll maybe try a different type of meat because I had beef in one of the empanadas and that was good. For those ordering online, I would like to mention that Somehow Casa Ora and Lulla's bakery operate together. I ordered at Casa Ora but had to get my food at Lulla's. I'll probably go back solely for the empanadas and maybe try a different menu item.

The "crispy" golden potatoes were in fact soggy, no seasoning, and more mush than crisp. Finally the service was a "D". The fourth request for half and half was finally successful, again the salt and pepper took forever, was promised more water which never materialized, the coffee warm up never came. In short, despite the positive menu the execution was two stars.

Unfortunately, the staff member serving me appeared extremely impatient throughout the process and even criticized me for not explaining my order clearly. I completely understand that there were customers waiting behind me and that the staff needs to keep the line moving. However, I believe every customer deserves to be treated with patience and respect. If I am spending over $120 on your products, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect five minutes of patience while I carefully choose my order. I truly love this bakery and will continue recommending it because the quality of the bread is exceptional. I only hope the customer service can better reflect the quality of the products. A little more patience and kindness would make the experience just as memorable as the bread itself.

There's a button to press when you need service, and our waiter was always quick to come after we pressed it. Ambiance: The restaurant is a good size with tables sectioned off into small "rooms". There are two private rooms downstairs that fit about 6-7 people each. The rooms are adjoining and good for large groups. Seating downstairs is the Japanese-style tables where you put your legs into a pit under the table. Decor and ambiance is very nice, and seating is comfortable. It was an absolute lifesaver that kept the girls happily entertained. And the food was absolutely worth savoring. We kicked things off with a round of handrolls--salmon avocado, spicy salmon, and yellowtail--which were perfectly crisp and packed with fresh fish. I went all in on the Salmon Lovers set, and it was an absolute dream. It came with a massive, beautiful spread of salmon sushi, seven thick pieces of melt-in-your-mouth sashimi, a salmon avocado roll, a bright kani salad, and a really savory piece of grilled salmon. We also shared the Ysukiji sushi platter, which featured a gorgeous, high-quality assortment of cuts, while the Smoked Chicken bento box was a huge hit, offering fantastic cooked flavors and generous portions. The room we were in mimicked a traditional Japanese room where everyone had to sit on the floor and put their legs under the table. It was fun for the younger people but it was difficult for the elders to sit down and get back up. This has always been one of my preferred locations, both personally and professionally, which makes this experience especially disappointing. On this occasion, I was visiting as part of my work responsibilities. The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.
