He stayed to the end of the project and was not at other worksites at the same time. He was able to get to my job quickly which helped us put my mother's house up on the market right away. He works steadily while he is there and takes pride in doing things neatly and correctly. Lastly, Brad sticks to his prices and estimates well. How many times have I gotten an estimate and the price triples? Not here. I was working on the yard while they fixed the house and miss the good that comes from being around honest work. We weren't sure what kind of business could help, so I went to Yelp looking for a handyman, and we're so glad we found Pete! He's got the skills and tools to handle your job, I'm sure. He was able to come over just a few hours later (on a Sunday afternoon), and in about 20 minutes had pinpointed the problem - a nest of mice hiding in a small space accessible via a crevice in the hardyboard planks on the exterior of the house, right below our fireplace. He then ran to the hardware store to pick up the supplies for the job, and returned and worked for a couple of hours in the snow and cold, cleaning out the critters and their nastiness, re-planking, and sealing everything up well with caulk (original builder had not done a great job). He is very friendly and professional, and I think his pricing was quite reasonable for what we got in return. We will be giving Pete a call next time we need a hand (will be soon as we do need help with our sink too!), and will be letting our neighbors know about him!

Eric, the owner and contractor met with us several times ahead of the remodel to discuss what we wanted. He explained his philosophy and in depth knowledge of his craft. He said that he dedicates his time to one job at a time and kept our budget in mind. He communicated well with us so that we could understand and was patient and very positive. He gave us multiple options for our design with consideration given to functionality and Feng shui. His design capability was excellent and he used his real estate experience to help us in this way. However, he allowed us to make our own choices. We got a schedule of the remodel and a detailed list of the products needed and presumptive prices. We were given the option of buying our own and a credit or debit would be listed in this case. Eric would purchase the material if we didn't, keeping track of our budget. We bought about 60% of the materials. We were made aware of the tariffs put on some of the products, and the sales in the future when we could save on some of the products. We were advised to go slow on the larger purchases like the cabinets. We chose to DIY the flooring and paint. Being novices, Eric was very helpful in advising us in these areas allowing us again to stay in budget and on time. Prior to construction, Eric pointed out some red flags, such as a popcorn ceiling which did have some asbestos, and a leaky water main. He arranged for two other contractors to remove the asbestos and apply drywall. He also replaced our water main turn off valve. Overall, having a contractor who devotes his time to your remodel, punctual, keeps within budget, and tailor to how you live, no matter how large or small the remodel, is an excellent one.

He visited with us first to discuss what we were looking for, and was very knowledgeable throughout the estimating process and was patient while we waited for a few other bids to come in. He arranged for us to meet with homeowners that he had done work for previously and then came out a 3rd time when we finalized the agreement. So 3 on site visits from him was saying a lot when we couldn't even get a phone call back from other landscapers that had come recommended. His crew worked 10 hour days for the next week and the entire job was finished just like that. Pretty painless way to do business and we are very satisfied with the work performed.
