Not sure what's going on with this place but it's completely gone down hill. From the service to the food to the management. I waited behind a car in the drive thru for about 7 minutes when I finally asked they driver of that vehicle what was going on and he said that they told him to hold on and never came back. They must of forgot about him because next thing ya know, they heard us talking and came back to take orders. After another 7 minutes I finally got my cheeseburger which has so much ketchup and mustard on it it's ridiculous. Step it up Carl's, this used to be the spot to get a good burger. Dirtiest place I've been to. Ants by the fountain drinks. Flies all over. A big crawled across the floor and the management didn't even care. If we weren't in a hurry and hadn't already ordered I would've left. Don't eat here!!! read more

Ordered a bacon egg/cheese biscuit combo medium sized and got a large sized gnarly steak egg/cheese and the manager shorted me ten cents. Maybe the crows will enjoy that steak,maybe. I did actually receive an orange juice so reconsidering 2 stars. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. As someone that has been working in the food safety & restaurant business for years now. I am extremely disappointed every single time I come here. But this time was special. My boyfriend and I came in at about 8:30 AM and ordered a combo meal with a sprite. The burger was greasy, falling apart, and cold. Half way through drinking the sprite my boyfriend opened the lid to realize a SEA OF ANTS was in our soda. I'm not sure how this could have happened, but the incompetence in this incident is apparent. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I am NEVER coming back. And I urge all of you not to as well. Not only did this incident occur, but the branch we visited would NOT answer the phone after probably 20+ phone call attempts. I ended up having to call the corporate office who did little to nothing. Not only this. But I've had someone who works there admit to me outside of work that later on at night they don't make all of the food on the menu because it's "too much work". (Chicken strips) and I have left many times because those were the only things I came for. I'm not sure what the problem is in this branch but Management needs to really put their foot down. GREAT SERVICE!! Went to the Mammoth location and the totally messed our order up and shorted my kids oder of 3 chocolate cake in the drive thru. I went to Bishop and told them and and the manager gave me 3 cakes even though it wasn't their mistake. read more

I love this Carl's Jr a lot, the wait is always really long but they accept 10+ year old coupons what a Turn On and the Owner is a nice oriental man who checks on tables to make sure everyone is satisfied when he is on site! read more

I just woke up from a nap in car from camping and I just wanted a Chicken Santa Fe sandwich and a water cup, but I accidentally said chicken sandwich. The girl at the register, Paula, shrugged her arms over her head, and said with frustration, "which chicken sandwich?" She gave me dirty looks the whole time. I corrected myself and apologized and she continued to give dirty looks with heavy sighs. I had to ask her three times for a water cup before she actually gave me one. Also, my sister order a combo for her and my dad, and she only gave them the sandwich. Everyone else was nice. The people even gave us a free combo on her mistake. However, I worked at fast food before and she is needs to work on her customer service skills. If she doesn't want to work here, then she should quit. read more

Right when i entered i knew i wasnt going to have a good experience. I could hear all the men working chatting away and i could here everything they were talking about. When i ordered the man taking my order was alright, even though he seemed to me be a bit creepy. When my food came and i began eating i heard them talking about a girl/girls.. Talking about how old she might be and said some inappropriate coments. After i was finished eating this boy, working there came up to me and asked me if i needed anything else?? No i would have ordered it.. He ends up coming back to me maybe less than a minute or two trying to flirt with me!!! I realized they were probably talking about me. I was so uncomfortable in there. It was the last day at my school I was having a good day. I went to Carl"s Jr and me and my sister wanted a number 5 box it was post to a cookie,hotdog,cheese burger, and a ad fries in a box. First of all it did not come in a box. So that is saying they have bad service. Second of all our hotdog winner was very hard. Third of all my burger did not have any cheese on it. The burgers are fine. The drive thru is so slow and the majority of employees are rude and unprofessional. Had a young man see me in line and turn his back on me. The manager had to come help me. No matter how tasty the burgers are the employees made me pretty sure I won't go back. read more

During busy MLK weekend it appeared to be understaffed. It took about 20 min between placing a to go order and delivery of order.

I have eaten here a few times in hopes it will be better each time. Unfortunately this is the worst Carls Jr. I have ever been. I swear they make your sandwich and proceed to step on it. The flatest burger everytime i eat there. A $9. Burger should be worth the money. I think they need someone from the Lonepine Carls Jr. To come teach them what a real Carls burger is supposed to look like & taste. Someone please help them. read more

This place is horrible. Went through the drive through a few weeks ago and they got my order wrong. Manager apologized and claimed he'd send me a refund. Never received it. Came back through today, tried to order again, and the man taking my order was already confused just by asking for one sandwich with no bells and whistles. Stopped him after having to explain myself through him laughing while trying to take my order again and left. Never, ever again. I think the service in this place is horrific! Ordered a $5 box from the drive thru. Got to my destination and they forgot my burger. Come on are they serious. That's half the box. So instead of going back thru the slow drive thru I walked in. Explained my situation. I was missing my burger with NO ONIONS extra pickles. He speaks in Spanish to the back so I have faith my order will be correct. I get home ready to enjoy my burger just to find out it was WRONG AGAIN! Onions and no pickles. This place is worthless. I am giving one star because I have too. Me and my wife waited over 20 minutes and left. I walked inside. Only one person in line. Appeared to be full staff cooking and receiving orders. I asked how long and this lady told me a few minutes. Ten minutes after that we left. It's Carl's, but stopped in on way to Oregon from S. Calif and the server went above and beyond, even though it was quite busy. Clean, courteous. Only complaint is extremely loud bathroom hand dryer and heavy doors, hard for me to open. read more

My boyfriend had food poisoning after ate here. Diarrhea, vomiting, fever. We called 911. We are hiking and we musted stop our trip.

Two of the three Famous Stars we ordered were incorrect, and the third didn't come at all. I was hungry enough to overlook this, but then I noticed the hundreds of dead beetles covering the floor. They were absolutely everywhere in the dining room, and even a few live ones were jumping around the windows in the booths. If you really want Carl's while traveling in the Sierras, make a stop in Lone Pine. I will never stop at this location again. read more
