First off, Fidel is the man. We had an inkling this spot had some San Diego influence based on the name but when we showed up it was CONFIRMED. Lol. Daygo baby!! I immediately felt like I was at home. Me and my boyfriend are stopping here every time we go to Mammoth - it's a must. The hospitality was top notch. It felt like an oasis in a desert. Free chips and the sauces are super fresh. My god some of the best chips I've had. We got the ceviche - fire and fresh AF. Western burger was PHENOMENAL. Surf and turf was great - I asked for a side of habanero ranch. My goodness. Anyone who says the food isn't that good is straight tripping. We loved the meal from start to finish. See you foos soon!

The best part about Indiego Tasting House was its awesome staff. The two guys we interacted with were super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food just fell short of me. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and found the place almost empty. The interior had was San Diego-themed, with sports memorabilia as decor and a large TV screen. We ordered some chips Tortilla Chips, Guacamole, and Salsa for the table to start with. We were a party of 6, and the size of the Guacamole was honestly comical. I think we were each able to get a single scoop. The salsa was decent, but the Tortilla Chips were extremely salty. They had a long list of specials, and I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche from that list. This was fine, but far from the best ceviche of my life. My friends said the same of their meals, including the Fish Tacos and Surf & Turf Burrito. Everything was just okay. Service was good but not the quickest!

Fidel and Christina blend the perfect balance of fantastic food and humble hospitality! We loved the fresh ceviche and chips (tasted house made and even included some flour tortilla chips). The quesadilla was slightly crispy but not greasy, and the carne asada inside was cut into bite-sized portions. When we asked at closing time for a horchata, they made one fresh for us - not too sweet. The whole vibe was sweet and spicy. Check it out! Note - I also appreciated the transparent pricing regarding credit card payments

Just an update, today we're trying a new appetizer, the Jalepeño Hotzerelo Cheese sticks. They are amazing, spicy and delicious. They come with a red sauce and a ranch. We also usually get the calamari appetizer and it is always delicious. I'm hoping you can read previous reviews. They were hit hard with the road and sidewalk upgrades, but now there is street parking in front in addition to the side lot. Prices have gone up, but the food is still a great value for what you get. Today's specials include the Challenger Bacon Cheeseburger (which includes ghost peppers), the Bad and Bougee surf and turf burrito which includes lobster, shrimp, asada, and more (big enough to split-which we do). It doesn't skimp on the meat. They have a kickin tri-tip cheeseburger, a cajeta churro basket, a heath churro Sundae, and a smokin southwest cheeseburger. All in addition to the regular menus. I highly recommend the lobster salad. This place has the best burgers in town! Service is always great. They run themselves ragged. And the ambiance is home town diner with mimosas and beer.

There's love in the food! Found it randomly on the map while visiting Bishop for the first time, and it turned out to be the perfect treat before my backpacking trip. Been a vegetarian for 11yrs, and their mushroom burger is hands down the best I've had in ages, nothing like those processed impossible patties or basic portobello burgers. Same goes with the fish tacos my friend had, both dishes are juicy and tender. Cristina is super kind, and Fidel clearly cares about every detail in the kitchen. The owners said they are working on adding a mini golf course and some outdoor patio decor, can't wait to come back! Indiego is truly a gem -- great food, excellent service, and a cozy vibe. Definitely making this a regular stop whenever I'm passing through Bishop!

Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked -- burger was a knockout. Every bite was a delicious balance of tender, fresh toppings, and a soft bun. Easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

    Great food. Great customer service.

A must try with great food and great customer service. Tried the Indiego burger with bacon and it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Randomly found this restaurant and so glad I did! The food is delicious! Started with chips and salsa. You can choose from 3 spice levels. I got habanero. It definitely had a kick! Got the surf and turf burrito with the crema on the side. It was filled with lots of meat and shrimp! So delicious! It was served with pasta and artichoke salad which had good flavor too. The restaurant was run by a husband and wife couple. They were very friendly and hospitable! The decor was lacking and simple but the food is great!

New area with outdoor lights and cornhole to have a couple drinks and relax with friends after diner.

Eating at Indiego is just like being over at friends house that loves to host,San Diego vibe in the middle of almost no where. There attentive to the tables and have a variety of great foods on the menu. The chef will personally explain the specials for you and will talk to you about how you like your food and kills it in the kitchen!

This is my favorite restaurant in Bishop without a doubt. Not only is the food the best in town, Cristina who serves and Fidel who cooks are the nicest people. Cristina is super kind and Fidel works his kitchen like it's his own. He asks you every minor detail of how you want your burger or dinner prepared. Small details matter to him in the kitchen, and it shows. It's such a great place. Hands down, my favorite in Bishop, and there is some good competition, but Indiego wins. Their burgers are great. The fish tacos are about for two or one person with leftovers. The habanero salsa has kick! It's better than any salsa in any Mexican place in Bishop.

Bishop has always been a place for visitors to try new concepts and restaurants. This place is definitely one of those. Giving the 90s vibes mixed with contemporary cuisine, this place can be described as an experiment. The menu is both confusing yet intriguing. The fish tacos were decent but it's not your typical ones there seems to be too much going on. The western bacon cheeseburger was in fact delicious. Juicy and not dry. Staff is friendly and very chill. Ambiance is chill and homey

Yes, you should stop here!! We drive up and down 395 several times a year, and tried this newish spot this week. They have delicious homemade chips and various salsas, and several bueno Mexican options too. Also burgers, wings, lobster salad(!!) and more. Excellent beers and people too. We look forward to the next trip and stop!

Indiego (In-Diego) was quite possibly one of the friendliest, most welcoming dining experiences we've ever had. The owners made me feel like I was visiting my buddy Fidel and his wife and they treated my family to a wonderful meal. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the Western burger. Every bite of my burger was loaded with bacon which I love. The owner makes everything fresh including the salsa which we bought a container full to bring home. Everyone walked away with full bellies and big smiles. My son suggested that we make this a regular stop every time we pass through town and it's what we plan on doing.

Unfortunately, ever since the ownership changed, the experience has gone downhill. The customer service is consistently rude and unwelcoming. It feels like staff are irritated just having to take your order. The food is now overpriced for the quality you get, which is a big change from how it used to be. I stopped going for about a year, but recently decided to give it another chance. I called in an order for myself and my disabled grandfather, who only has one arm. I politely asked multiple times if they could please cut the steak for him and even explained why. They clearly seemed annoyed by the request. When I picked up the food, everything looked rushed and just thrown into the boxes--and the steak was not cut. The rest of the meal was just as disappointing. The taquitos were plain with only cheese on top--no sides like guacamole or sour cream, especially disappointing for the price. The loaded potato wasn't even "loaded," just a plain potato. Between the poor service, lack of care, and declining food quality, this place is nothing like it used to be. It's honestly sad to see something that used to feel welcoming and enjoyable turn into somewhere I now dread going. I wouldn't recommend stopping here anymore. There are better places in town that actually value their customers.
