Placed an order through the drive through for a Waffle Fry, and 3 Cali Double Cheeseburgers. I asked for a receipt at the window. And was told to park out front. The employee rushed out with a bag and it seemed quick since they were 'making our food fresh' so I checked the bag. Singles. Brought the bag back in and the employee said we made singles! And presented us with a box with 3 patties to 'build our own'. I handed it back and asked they make it correctly. Waited for the correction and before leaving, checked again. This place does not deserve a star. Ordered online and arrived about 10 mins. later. Had to tell server 3 times who I was. Still waiting after 10 mins. Date night with a late night snack for us ! I am 13 weeks pregnant with baby #3 I'm a huge health nut but love my cheat days . Jalapeños poppers are hot ! I am not sure what was in them but I def needed ranch for each bite ! I also enjoyed a shake . Hubs got a #3 combo and Diet Coke . The gal was super nice and quick she definitely ran her team well she was correcting someone on making sure the fries weren't just thrown in there and to properly present the meal. This morning, I waited to go till AFTER 6am. They were open, an apparently two employees on duty. Ordered the Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich Combo. First...they were OUT of Sour Dough bread. Oh FFS! All right make it on a bun. The hash browns are way under cooked, and the sandwich looks as if someone had sat on it! Mashed, and crumpled, and looking a lot like an afterthought. WTH??? I been wanting to check this place out since opening a while back. I finally have the chance to test it out. Carl's Jr always been one of my favorite fast food chain. They are two stories building, it pretty big for a fast food restaurant. It's wasn't very busy when I got in there. Took me to while to order what I want. I really liked their "All Star Meal" a very reasonable price. I ordered one of their of their value deal and couple other burgers. I got my order delivered to my table pretty fast. I liked their waffle fries a lot. Well seasoned, not over fried or anything. Their burgers tasted decent, but hope it was a little warmer or hotter on the patties. It was a little cold. We waited a long time for this place to open and decided to go ahead and try it today for the first time after it is been open for about a month and a half to two months. First impressions is the location is not very good for traffic purposes. Yes they went out of their way to post signs to not block the driveways but still people don't care and they block the driveway into the place and it's not very conducive to good parking. After we placed our order we stood back to wait and noticed several employees coming off their shift and they went up to order food and they were served immediately we also watched as Car after Car went through the drive up. After waiting 20 minutes young girl behind the counter looked over and asked what number were we after letting her know what her number was she said oh OK let me check. Finally after waiting another 10 minutes we were given our food. The quality of the food was pretty subpar compared to the other location that this owner has in Gig Harbor. The burgers were OK the fish sandwich was good except for the tartar sauce which had a very sour almost bitter taste to it I think the sandwich would be better without the tartar sauce. The fries were OK however I think for the price that we paid the quality of the meal should've been much better. I would have to say that the restaurant in Gig Harbor fire exceeds this one in so many ways. I know I won't be back to this one but I will go to the one in Gig Harbor. read more

Carl's Jr on Kitsap way, needs to have the health department visit them. 12 pm Sunday: Stopped by on a long drive to Port Angeles to grab a bite to eat on the road because we wouldn't be back until 3 or 4. We ordered a couple cheeseburgers not fries no drinks nothing else. Food cold, I mean so cold it was as if the patty was as if it was just pulled out of a cooler and put in a bag and handed to us. If the burger was cooked to or being held to the proper temperature it would not be cold to the touch. This is unacceptable, for a multitude of reasons but mostly because serving food that's stored and kept at improper temperatures can lead to bacteria growth and food poisoning and no body wants that. 12:30 my friend in the passenger seat calmly calls and request a to speak to the manager, explains to her the situation and lets her know this is not okay. Manager apologizes and offers to remake our food, awesome! Except we were on a time schedule and didn't know about the food issue until we were basically to Silverdale on the highway. She told us that's okay, stop back by when you get back to town let them know you talked to me and they will remake your order. Cool, super nice manager, pleasant and solved the issue. I don't want to hear anyone be rude and say "well you should have checked the order before leaving" sorry bud, but NO. Restaurants should be serving food at the proper temperature. Approximately 3:30 pm Sunday we pull back onto Kitsap way after driving back from PA to pick up a family member and stopped back buy to get our fixed order. Workers were kind and apologetic for the mistake. Super cool thank you for the wonderful service and smiles! Got our replacement order and everything felt warm from the outside. And after being in the car for nearly 4 hours we just wanted to get home and get the rest of our day completed. So off we drove, everything felt fine so we figured cool not a problem. 3:40 pm Sunday, pull into the driveway all get out and head inside. And we unwrap our burgers. So while the outside was warm to the touch, the middle of the burger was cold to the touch, at most maybe luke warm like it was sitting out on the counter. If the burger was being held to the proper temperature it would not be cold to the touch. At this point I'm fed up, not only is this absolutely not okay, but twice in a row? As a person preparing orders you know if the food you are handling out is the proper temperature or not. Or at lease you should if you have a food handlers permit allowing you to serve food to people. This should have never happened in the first place, let alone two times. Not only am I writing a review here, I am posting it other places as well. And I definitely will not be returning to Carl's Jr on Kitsap way in Bremerton. Not a new Carl's Jr. customer. This place is obviously still learning the ropes. Cashier took our order wrong twice which resulted us paying three times. Be concise and ask to have your order repeated or you'll be headed back to the counter to fix it. Thankfully we weren't in the drive thru, that would have been disastrous as it was my kids' food. Three stars for fast service receiving food and the fact it's good. FYI, as of today (6/26/19) they do NOT have the Mocha Shake or by the looks of it, the cold brew. I would give this place negative stars if I could. They have a bit of a hair problem with their burritos, and it's really disgusting. I went there earlier this morning and ordered a load breakfast burrito and checked the burrito to find a hair in my burrito. So I went back and let the store I got it from know and they apologized and remade my order. I had a feeling that I should check the second one they made me just find another hair in the burrito that they remade for me. I was so disgusted that I lost my appetite. read more

Carl's Jr. has been a favorite fast food restaurant for me since I was a teenager. Unfortunately, this location doesn't live up to any of the other locations I have been to. Perhaps it's because the staff is new... I don't know. Problems I see: - Room for seating but not enough seating - They have a big military mural but no military (or senior) discounts - My food wasn't prepared correctly. The bacon wasn't cooked all the way on my Western Bacon Cheeseburger and the BBQ sauce tasted like it was cut with ketchup. Overall, everyone in my party said the food tasted bland. It was weird! - They had a ton of employees working, but only one register open so it took a long time to order And the overall look of the restaurant looked like it had been done on the cheap. For example, no napkin holders in the seating area upstairs (so don't forget to grab some downstairs!), and you look directly at the metal garbage cans in the eating areas. It looks like they just forgot to build the surrounds. Kinda gross to look at the tossed food while you eat. The only positive was the views from upstairs was nice... but not nice enough for any of us to go back. read more

Jolly Good Show! We drove by to try out this Carl's Jr location and I have to say, ABSOLUTELY SMASHING!! The food was so good that it made me jump up in my British heals and made me say, "Oh! What a smashing establishment! Jolly Good Show good people!!" The burger I got was so marvelous, so mouth watering, that I practically ate the whole thing in 30 seconds. Well actually no... if I did that you would see a poor British chap on the floor unable to tally away. Fries were great in their own way, especially when you dip them in that amazing honey mustard of yours. Now I know everyone here is wondering why I only have 4 stars instead of a smashing 5. Well, when we came there, we didn't necessarily order that burger, the poor old chap must have been confused when he gave us our order. I called the Gig harbor location and they stop at 11:00am so I had to assume this location did too because no one would answer the phone!!!! Got to the drive thru at 10:37am only to find out they end at 10:30. Wouldn't have been that big a deal but now we were stuck sitting in their SLOW drive thru because a car was behind us. I like Carl's Jr's food a lot, and I've always been impressed by the service at the Gig Harbor branch, so I've been waiting for this new one to open in Bremerton. Unfortunately, the potential good food here at the Bremerton branch is ruined by the slow employees who make mistakes repeatedly -- tell them you don't want cheese on your burger, and they will waste your time by having to make the burger 3 times before they get it right, and you having to tell the grill person directly exactly how you want your food. Why this information does not get accurately and efficiently transferred from the order taker to the cook is beyond me. Most likely it's because this branch hired workers suffering from ADD (thanks to smartphones), apathy, low IQ, or all of the above. read more

This Carl's has a much hipper feel to it and the staff was great. During a trip to the naval undersea warfare museum in Keyport, we dropped by for a quick lunch. The food was good and consistent with most Carl's. There were 2 things that motivates me to post a review. 1. The decoration and layout of this restaurant is not typical. It was decorations and photos showing off local history. It's also has a really high ceiling and has a second story. The second floor is a bit quieter and has a TV if you decide to watch a game or something. Definitely not a cookie cutters Carl's. 2. The staff was really nice. They took a little longer with our order (probably because of the beyond meat burger) but offered up free dessert unprompted. So thank you! So if you need a tasty burger from friendly staff in Kitsap, drop by this Carl's. read more

This location needs help... I'm no stranger to Carls Jr, I love their food, but I'm not sure what was happening at this location. Their clean and spacious establishment was not busy at all the night we dined in. I was not at all bothered with the cashier who seemed to be going through a learning curve because we've all been there at some point. I could tell she had little to no experience because she was very slow on the register, asked us many times to repeat ourselves and asked her co-worker for a lot of help, but this is just an observation. My irritation came when they brought us our order...the cashier brought it to us but later we've noticed our chicken strips never came with the rest of our food. So I went back to the counter and asked about it and a gal apologized saying they messed up the last batch and had a new one going in and it would be brought to us when it was done - but no one felt the need to inform us about this. Alright, no big deal. We rather not get salmonella. KEEP READING... We finished our meal a good half an hour later (we take our time eating) and the chicken strips still hadn't arrived. I went back to the counter and the girl who told me the last batch was screwed up was nowhere in sight. She had left for the night and did not tell anyone that we were still waiting for the strips. We already finished the food that made it to us and at this point we don't want the strips so I told a new face upfront what happened and asked if we could just get refunded for the strips (because we were no longer hungry) and she's like "No, no. We have some that are ready to go. I am so sorry! Would you like some cookies?" I told her no, I did not want any cookies or the strips. I'm not going to eat either of them because I was already full from waiting around for the strips. She threw the strips into the bag along with three cookies and ignored my request for my money back. As soon as Carl's Jr. started serving the impossible burger, we made it a frequent spot for dinner. Typically, we go to the one in Gig Harbor. But since this one is now closer to us, we started going here. Unfortunately, this location still has tons it needs to improve on. 1. It is freezing in the building. Even the employees working have their coats on. Not sure if it's how they built it/the concrete floors but my food and my toes turned to ice in the 10 minutes I was eating. Owner might want to think about actually spending a few bucks on some heat. 2. It took 15 minutes to get my food. The lobby was not busy. Which is fine, I don't mind waiting, but the food was only slightly warm when I received it. This has happened every time we have been here. I understand being busy, probably more than most, but it always feels as though it's not how long it takes for them to make the food, but how long it takes for someone to hand it to you. 3. While we were sitting and eating, not one, not two, but FOUR different orders were brought back to the front counter for being wrong. That's a TON of wasted food. Just in the 30 min I was there. The employees are friendly enough, most are young, seem extremely hard working and pleasant, but they might want to think about additional training to tighten up the service.
