This Carl's Jr. Is pretty bad. Went here today through the drive thru. No napkins, order was incorrect and barely any condiments for the chicken strips we ordered. We have been here about 5 times over the last few years and each time I regret coming back. The convience of the location is about the only thing this place has going for it. Just walked in to get a salad with a rush to get to the movies. After waiting for three people it was my turn and an employee walked in front of me and started ordering. This Carl's Jr. restaurant in Eastlake is very clean and the service is very good. The staff especially the front staff are very friendly and professional. They take your orders in a timely manner and if you were dining inside the restaurant, he will get your food served pretty fast. This is probably the best Carls junior restaurant in Chula Vista. The inside of the restaurant always looks nice. The drive-through does not take that long. Although the food can be a bit pricey compared to some other fast food restaurants, you always get good quality food here at Carl's junior. read more

I just ordered a protein style thick burger and I wanted no pickles, no ketchup, and pepper jack cheese instead of American. When I got home, I literally a lettuce wrapped burger with cheese and mayo only. No tomato or onion in it to fill my protein burger. How incompetent are they with simple instructions. I would give this location no stars but I had to select. Poor customer service and quality of food. A staff member took my order at drive thru and asked what size beverage I wanted with my meal. She gave me regular and large as my option. I chose regular. At the window Elizabeth gave me either a medium or large size drink and charged me $7.51. I Noticed how large the drink was an asked her if that was my only option since I know it was not the regular size. Elizabeth asked me to give her the drink she gave me and handed me a regular size drink and charged me $6.51 instead. As I was trying to communicate about the fact that I caught on to the manipulation of drink size given to me and charge she completely ignored me and kept closing the window. Typical fast food burger chain, the six dollar burger is huge but doesnt taste that great, but the only redeeming quality is that typicall you have to "wait" for food which means they are cooking it that the one thing I do like about Carls..the Westerna Bacon Cheeseburger is pretty good as welll as the fried zuchini for $7 bucks its an OK lunch. read more

They could spend some time training their employees on customer service. Drive through is super slow and when you get to the speaker to give your order they keep trying to rush you, giving you your total when you're not even done ordering yet. I had to tell them after being given the total the second time that I wasn't done ordering yet! And then when you get your order it's always wrong. I also don't appreciate how they try to trick you into upsizing your order by asking if you want medium or large when the price advertised is for the small. read more

This is one of the worst fast food places in my area. I have to check my order EVERY time I go through the drive-thru. They ALWAYS miss something. Thankfully I do not eat here often but the food is good so I do go on occasion. Then I went in today with my kids to use their play area and the man that took my order was rude. I mean really? We are new to area so stopped there for lunch, not only were there old fries, old socks, etc all over playground area (took pics) but ask cashier for recommendation on "kids regular chicken sandwich". probably the worst customer service and experience i've had with the restaurant joint. usually i don't have a problem from this chain in general. but i went to order chicken tenders and fries (which i was charged $9 for), fries were OK. chicken tenders were burnt and i was on my lunch break for work so i did not have the time or the energy to take them back. i called the store and told them my chicken was burnt and that i wanted a refund. instead of writing my name down and telling me how to get my refund, an excuse was made on why they were burnt. "we have gotten complaints in the past saying they were undercooked therefore we have to give them out burnt". really? they have to give them out burnt. i kept the receipt and told them i would be back later. i showed up in person and told them i called earlier and kept the original receipt. they asked me for my food back, which i threw away, and then told me they were not allowed to give me my money back because "policy does not allow it". they knew who i was, i had a photo taken of the burnt chicken and i kept the receipt. i even called. i did everything right as a consumer and they would not give me a refund. absolutely terrible service. read more

Was at this location yesterday after a long day and just wanted a meal. I don't normally eat Fast Food but was starving and in a hurry, so why not. First issue was that I was asked to wait a moment (not a problem) but that moment took almost 10 mins at the speaker to order the meal. Second, I asked for a #1 with a lemonade and a #3 with half lemonade and half iced tea. Apparently this through the associate over the edge because he got MAJORLY confused. He repeated the order wrong several times he asked questions over and over but we finally seemed to be on the same page. Got to the window....waited over 10 mins to even be acknowledged (while their window was open, mind you) and was just rushed my food to me and he looked at me like...why are you still here? Um, because I need my drinks. Got my drinks and paid and left. Got home and the drinks were all messed up. I'd like to think it was busy but either way, their Customer Service was lame.
