This was a delicious hot mess. 1/3 lb- guac-bac thick burger

This Carl's is inside a Loves making it an upsetting experience for me in that respect. But the food is always yummy fresh and served in good time. Before Buc-ees opened I ALWAYS made sure that my lunch and gas stop occurred here. The exit is a easy on off spot. It's just really busy. And parking stinks here too.

a hamburger with lettuce and tomatoes

Trash! Paid for a guacamole burger no tomatoes and onions and this is what I get. Tomatoes and onions and no guacamole. 2. Combos for $25 and the orders are wrong! Onion rings are trash too! Never again! Food was also cold.

    It's still national burger day

It really sucks that there is no Carl's Jr all over the place only random areas like this here in south Dallas. But that ok I love these burgers from juicy fresh and all so good. I remember them very well in my time in California. I'm so happy we got a few here in Texas. This spot is awesome because it's right inside a loves gas station what more can you ask for.

Baby back rib burger it's good stuff

Vivian Howard of North Carolina, Chef, Restaurateur and teacher to hopeful home cooks with her current show on PBS, "Kitchen Curious" cites Bojangles as the source of her inspiration for dirty rice, wanting to recreate that specific flavor profile at home. Yes, Bojangles. She even went through their drive thru on the show where she makes her own version of dirty rice. So I finally went to the Bojangles near me in Lancaster one evening. We stopped in and marveled at the many biscuit combinations on the menu. I will say that reading through the reviews on our way there was weird though. There are apparently "legacy" Bojangles out East that serve bone in Chicken and more selections of sides or "fix ins." This caused consternation after this Lancaster franchise opened and they didn't have bone in chicken. It seemed to affect customer perception of the current trimmed down menu of biscuit and tenders, salads and sandwiches only menu early on. The menu reminds me of Chick- fil-A, just different. As for today, I came for the Dirty Rice. But we did order two Chicken sandwiches plus pickles, a family size dirty rice and a family size coleslaw, to go. Bojangles does not have jalapeños FYI. The menu neglected to show a sandwich only price. So I asked. I was told $6.92 including tax. The family size fix ins were $4.99. Combos with sandwich, beverage, and side choice are approximately $9.50. Sandwiches come with lettuce and tomatoes according to the menu. The restaurant was clean with booths and tables. Service was friendly. When we got home though, I must have been misunderstood or I misunderstood what went on the sandwiches. We had ended up with only pickles instead of added pickles. I don't usually post photos of food with utensils or half full containers with food already removed but today, I am doing that. I sliced up some tomatoes, washed lettuce, got out the jalapeños and more pickles and mayo and we fixed up our sandwiches. I would like to think that everything would have been sorted out at the restaurant if we had dined in, but only 2 pickles? Seriously? The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. The exterior was still mostly crispy and was well seasoned. It certainly needed the veggies. And I have to have my jalapeños! The bun was brioche however and perfectly toasted. Now the dirty rice. I could taste the chicken bouillon in the well seasoned rice and the big chunks of sausage were appreciated. It was good. So was the coleslaw. Nice and cold, crunchy and a perfect foil to my jalapeños on my sandwich. So we spent spent $24.42 on two people for no drinks, two large sides and two sandwiches. Honestly, it was good, but it is not something that I would eat frequently. As I said, we don't usually eat fried chicken out. They are open 24 hours! With a well lit drive thru and easy online ordering. Go and check them out!

Big Tony's has fallen off since it was taken over by black people, I've been coming to Big Tony's since the 90's, I'm 41 years old and I remember when the older heavy set white guy was serving up the city of DeSoto GREAT quality cheesesteaks and awesome customer service. When he sold or was bought out Big Tony's has went downhill ever since, I've seen people order food from our so called kinfolk and get charged an extra 1.00 or so just for using a debit/credit card to pay for their order. That's just greedy and unprofessional in this day and age when everything is debit, credit, or tap and cash is being phased out. ‍ The worst part is I've seen them quote a customer a certain amount for their order, the said customer looks at their receipt and then say why it is more and the cashier says oh we charge a fee if you don't pay with cash. I'm through with Big Tony's I'd rather drive to Plano to the other Big Tony's.

We waited a ridiculous amount of time just to be acknowledged at the door. Employees walked by us repeatedly without even making eye contact. When we were finally seated, the hostess didn't say a single word -- she just dropped the menus on the table and walked away. No greeting, no warmth, nothing. It was rude and set the tone for the whole visit. Our server wasn't much improvement. It took far too long to even get drinks, and the wait for our food felt endless. When it did arrive, it was honestly embarrassing. My husband's food was overcooked beyond saving -- dry, tough, and clearly prepared with zero care. My meal wasn't any better: cold, bland, and slapped together like an afterthought. Trying to get help was impossible. The staff acted annoyed and uninterested, like customers were an inconvenience instead of the reason they have a job. No apology, no effort to fix anything -- just terrible attitudes all around. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences we've had. Cracker Barrel seriously needs to get this location under control. We won't be returning. This location is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous.
