Despite all these negative reviews, I decided to take a trip to this fast-food since my hotel was nearby didn't feel like a long drive for quick grab. Perhaps they read negative reviews and leaned. About to leave town and decided to give Carls Jr a try since it's the only name brand fast food place at this on ramp and I see a spicy chicken sandwich and since I have had other spicy offerings from Other places That were good to great!! The Spicy Chicken Maxx Was by far the worst one I have ever tried. Not Spicy at all, not the coating, not the sauce, not the peppers (none on this things). I have been coming to this Carl's Jr since it was built around 1997. This is the worst experience I've ever had. My complaint isn't so much about the food, but instead how employee Christian handled the situation. Christian needs re-training in basic common sense, communication, and manners. Accusing customers of lying is not acceptable. He should have offered a simple apology, and "made it right". Instead he escalated the situation by becoming unstable, angry, and combative. I ordered two Loaded Breakfast Burritos for dine in. I received my order in a to go bag. I sat in the restaurant to eat my breakfast. The first burrito was delicious, and perfect. The second burrito had no meat. No sausage, bacon, or ham. I reported to Christian at the register. He said: "How do I know you're telling the truth, you should have given me the burrito so I can see". He was rude, combative, and offered no apology, or to make it right. I asked for the manager's phone number to file a complaint, and he started writing the phone number on a piece of paper. After writing the area code he refused to give me the phone number, and became angry / upset, and told me it was my fault for not giving him the burrito to check. I could tell the cook who made my burritos knew something was wrong with my order, because she tried to engage me in conversation then ignored me when Christian became angry. The reason I didn't stop eating the second burrito is because sometimes burrito's ingredients are not evenly distributed, and I was hoping all the meat would be at the bottom. I guess from now on I will have to unravel all my breakfast burritos to make sure all ingredients are present, and accounted for because I can't trust the cook to make it correctly, and more importantly any customer service issues to be handled properly. Ordered delivery because my back was hurting and didn't feel like driving there. The store provided the driver the complete wrong order. Driver said that was the only item provided to them. Tried contacting the store, but they didn't seem to understand that I got the wrong order. Tried contacting someone online after the store was less than helpful. The high prices are plenty reason to only come when it is either the last rwstor if the location work with the trip. On this occasion we had been traveling home after a very long day. We wanted good quality food. You usually get what you pay for right? Both vegetarian/vegan and carnivore options were what we wanted. The burgers were out together well. Fries were slightly dry. They didn't add guacamole even though we asked for it and paid the extra charge. I enjoyed the meal. Not bad for a fast food meal. read more

The worst experience at a Carl's jr. me and my family were driving from a wonderful day in San Francisco and decided to stop and grab dinner on the way home. First. The cashier was not friendly at all not even a smile on fer face Second. The girls and cook do not have their hair up. Third. The cashier girl and drive thru young man were all talking to another employee that was not working that day, they were cursing and not using appropriate language for customer and very poor work ethic. So my family and I were new to Dixon after leaving the pumpkin patch and corn maze. We had a car full of ppl trying to find out what everyone wants. We ask the guy to give us more time and he didn't turn off his mic as he said "OH MY GOD" as if we were taking to long. This is, by far, the best run Carl's Jr. I have ever seen. I have been a WBC consumer for years. I take the ups and downs of fast food and know what I'm paying for when I come to a Fast Food restaurant. With that said, I have had the pleasure of coming here a few times in the last three months and they are consistently well above par. The place is clean and well kept. The staff are polite and friendly. The food is neat and tidy in presentation, and actually looks like the images on the walls. They deserve more stars, so I thought it fair to give them some. I have never met EVIL at a Carl's Jr. Especially right at the fwy, makes no sense to be so mean to customers, and talk about the window customers when people are eating inside. You are making decent money, show some respect. This Carl's makes the others look extremely good. Get it together. Dry food, reheated criss-cut fries, burger dry I almost threw up it was so dry and bitter. This is not the traditional Carl's on any level. Just horrible experience, but I was hungry and they are distant to the next turnoff, which I recommend you just drive to the next turnoff, avoid the hunger pains and just keep driving 2 more miles. I've gone there twice and both times they got my order wrong and gave me someone else's burgers.

I called here to check if they were still serving breakfast before I drove there. I was informed by a male employee that they serve breakfast all day. Once I made the trip out there I was informed by the SAME employee that they stopped serving breakfast at 11am. Wtf?! It's a very windy/rainy day and they have no overhead cover over the drive through order section. Rain was pouring in my car door. I drove up to the drive through window and they had a trellis for an over hang. Rain was still coming through my window AND dripping into the food and drink he was handing me. Good food. Have ate there many times, and rarely have had issues. I'd recommend. Probably one of the better Carl's I've been to.

Horrible experience each time I have eaten here. I work in Winters so not many options near by. Either the food is too cold, made incorrectly, or taste funny. The spicy chicken sandwich I have ordered several times was absolutely a waste of money. Haven't been able to finish eating the entire sandwich once. Every other Carl's Jr I have eaten ate has been excellent. Not sure who runs this establishment but they need to be trained properly or fired. A poor grade is being generous honestly. I will rather purchase a burger from the Am/Pm across the street and that's bad. Also the employees always have a bad attitude and have a hard time getting a simple order correct. It's a fast food joint just off the freeway after all, not fine dining. It is what you'd expect it to be. The bathroom was kind of gross, but the dining area was clean and well bussed. It's a Carl's Jr. in BFE. That explains the problems so many people complain of. Every time I go there, there is hardly anyone there. It always seems deserted. There doesn't seem to be a town around it (I know it is supposed to be in Dixon, but I don't see the town) so my guess is it only gets customers from the freeway traffic. The food is passable (it's fast food). The real reason to stop in at any Carl's Jr. isn't the food--it's the chocolate or oreo shakes and the oreo ice cream sandwiches.
