This is the worst carl's Jr ive ever seen. Employees are extremely rude. Ordered food for my 1.5 year old. Fine. Went back up to order with my mom and they ignored us. We waited for about 5 minutes for someone to help her and no one acknowledged us (mind you they were not busy). We were watching the employees and noticed that they were very unhygienic it terms of food handling. We decided that we were not going to eat here. We were getting ready to leave and my daughter spilled her milk. My husband went up to grab some napkins and the employee seemed annoyed that he had asked and proceeded to give him one single napkin. My husband asked for more to which the employee responded with "you can get more in your order but we dont just hand them out. Thats why they're back here. They cost us money". Right off the hwy exit and hwy entry. Great service, fast service! 3 adults and 3 kids ate for $23 and some change... we used coupons! The burgers were hot and delicious the chicken strips were juicy. The restrooms were clean and warm on this cold rainy night. The restaurant itself was really clean. for a carl's jr. this place is as good as it gets. the entire restaurant was clean (including the restrooms) and the food wasn't terrible for fast food. the bean and cheese burrito is vegetarian and my guy's burger looked edible. i am really only posting this because the service deserved 5 stars. a gentleman brought our food to our table and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. he was very kind and professional. i will gladly stop at this carl's jr. again if the opportunity arises. read more

Carls JR in Gorman Ca. 7/24/16. This was one of the dirtest places i have ever seen. The bathrooms were filty the trash was overflowing throughout the restaurant. Used Toilet paper on the floor in the corners of the bathroom. We ordered a iced tea, which they didnt have though it was on the menu. There were no drinks available free of sweetner. So i ordered a large water which they wanted to charge me 2.59. The tables were dirty. The booth my son sat in was broke so when he sat down the other end flipped up. Avoid this Carls JR. I ordered a charbroiled chicken burrito and iy didn't have chicken my husbands chicken strips were cold and old tasting on top of looking more like nuggets than strips. OMG, OMG,OMG!!!! Stopped in Gorman to pee (I really had to go). Decided the bathrooms at Carl's Junior would be cleanest. I go in and can hear one of the employees cleaning the mirrors, toilets, etc. I walk out to wash my hands, look at the sink next to me, and the toilet brush is sitting in it. LIke everyone else, a fast food / restroom stop in Gorman is usually like finding an oasis in a dessert. Well, maybe its not that good but it's easy to from either direction on the 5 and there is plenty of parking and ample seating if you need a break. They also have a playground for kids. read more

Terrible experience with a Manager. I usually have patience and know that people have bad days but this was just poor customer service all around! Never again will I stop there! Placed our order and was given a receipt - didn't look at but waited for our food! Never called our number and finally the mean, bitchy lady that seemed like the manager asked me what our number was. We drove 22 miles on a hot day driving past a couple other restaurants to get a "hand dipped shake" sat in the drive thru for a few mins to get to the order board, placed our order and the cashier told us we are out of shakes. So you your telling me your out of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and Oreo ice cream all at once? I think what she is trying to tell me is that I don't have time to make you a shake. You can not just pull away from the drive thru so we wasted another 20 mins in the drive thru just to pull out. Incidents like this give fast food restaurants a bad rap. My wife and I ordered Santa Fe chicken sandwiches that looked as though a gorilla had put them together. The chicken was rubbery and barely palatable. The fries were soggy and inedible and to top it off we were given no napkins in which to spit up the awful crap that had been handed to us. Do not stop at this location. If you are heading north past Gorman there is another Carl's Jr at the bottom of the Tejon pass. If you are heading south there is another Carl's Jr at 27606 Newhall Ranch Rd, in Santa Clarita. For lunch on 4/28/17, Nathaniel took our order at the drive through. This guy has the best attitude about his job and customer service. He is better than any good commercial that you can do. He needs to be hired as a trainer and teach all of Carl's Jr. how the service should be done. In fact he is by far the best I've seen in any fast food or restaurant. I told him I would do a surgery and I hope the district manager and regional manager stop in and see what I mean by this guy.
