Worst burger/onion rings I've had in a long time. The onion rings were crispy and hot but not a lot of flavor. The burger was the worst I had in a long time. I had the new Diablo burger and it wasn't very spicy and tasted like campfire. I took two bites and that was all I had of the burger. Not tasty :( read more

I wanted to try the new Big Carl, and since I was going through Cornelius Oregon, I stopped and ordered one. I knew right away that I was going to be disappointed, because they were holding the bag outside the window...before I even got there!!!!! I didn't even leave the parking lot. 2.5-2.75. I fell prey to advertising and when I was out and in a bind for lunch I got their new natural burger here. I love sweet pickles. Thats what clinched it. Im a dork. The burger itself was wider than the bun, thin. Just ok. The bun was too squishy to stand up to Carl's bevy of condiments. Mayo, mustard, ketchup, red onion pieces, crisp cold iceberg, an anemic tomato slice, American cheese, and the aforementioned sweet pickles. I got water. It was good. I got fries. I didnt like them so I didnt eat many of them. They lacked salt! And I was not given or offered ketchup. When I tried to get their attention at the drive thru I couldnt get it. I gave up. Id agree with other reviewers theyre abrupt and not super friendly here. Bah. My tummy hurt later. No real issues just an ick feeling. I dont think Id get another one. Nice workers, the food was not cooked or prepaired properly......laziness. More importantly, this establishment does not follow good cleanliness practice. I observed that the cashier in the drive through was using the same pair of gloves on multiple customers. She would handle multiple customers credit/debit cards, use the same container to pass the customer cards back/ fourth, touch your drink cup, bag your food, operating the drink dispenser ETC. This could be a perfect storm for passing Covid 19. read more

I ordered two ssg egg ch bisc, and Carl's JR only gave me 1/2 of the egg on each sandwich. There was only a thin single layer of egg on each sandwich where normally the egg is folded and twice as much as it was on my last visit. Carl's Jr managed to short my breakfast and ruin my morning... As this was a takeout order I didn't notice it until after I left and didn't have time to return to discuss this problem. I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. This has now occurred numerous times in which I have ordered a BEYOND burger, returned home & was given a meat burger, often with bacon as well. I am a LONG time vegetarian. This mistake continuing to occur is absurd. Especially when the mistake burger received is a cheaper price than the one ordered. When returning to the store, the Management & employee was INCREDIBLY RUDE. Talking about "people routinely lying about a wrong order". This is not a simple mistake. This is continually giving a VEGETARIAN a burger with meat & bacon. This is completely unacceptable, & management needs to be re-evaluated. They did not replace the burger. I had to PURCHASE A NEW ONE, after dealing with horrifically rude service. I have loved Carl's for them including a beyond burger to their menu - but as this situation keeps continuing, I am debating even ever returning to a Carl's Jr. restaurant. It's fast food and I don't normally review fast food, but I have to say that is the friendliest, most polite crew I have encountered in a while. Total customer service all the way, so whoever is training this store: good job. I got called Ma'am like 9 times. (Which - I have kind of mixed feelings about, but I guess I am in fact getting old and also, that's some good manners.) Carl's Jr as a chain can never reach 5 stars with me though. They used to, long ago, have baked potatoes and made the inexplicable choice to stop. (Arby's, I'm glaring at you too.) Baked potatoes are my #1 food preference at all times. As someone who is new-ish to the west coast (3 years here), we don't have Carl's Jr. back east (from what I remember) and this is one fast food joint I don't mind eating out at on a regular basis. The food is awesome, but this is more of a 5-star review for the customer service we recieved. We normally get our food thrown at us, or rushed through the line as quickly as possible. After a long day of shopping this past Saturday the whole family was very hungry and in a rush to get something good. Ronaldo waited on us in the drive-thru line and not only was he very kind, and very professional, he actually seemed like he enjoyed his job. You can tell this man not only had a GREAT attitude, but he actually seemed like he enjoys his job. Whatever training program you have Carl's Jr. PLEASE KEEP IT UP! This young man deserves a raise. What should be expected from places just isn't so "standard" anymore. I appreciate a company a little more when I see happy, professional, kind employees! My family and I just got refused service do to the manager with pink hair being VERY rude. when we ask what kind of sauces they have and get told "it's on the board" I find that very rude. Also not to mention having to ask "are you there" and "hello" multiple times due to poor service. When we said thank you and pulled up. She said nothing and refused service to us telling us to go to McDonald's. This is the MANAGER! Maybe don't put someone so bitchy working on a holiday. Very unimpressed with the service and the food tonight. I ordered a number 12(chicken bacon Swiss sandwich) with no sauce. The person working was not very courteous and hardly said anything. When I opened the sandwich there was no bacon and no cheese. In addition the buns were burnt black on the inside and the fries were cold. I get that working late sucks but it's clear that someone didn't care about doing the job well. read more
