Was craving a hamburger and realized I hadn't had Carl's Jr in hella long. Matter of fact, I don't think I've seen a Carl's Jr commercial in ages! So wifey and I decided to check it out. Got there during lunchtime and it was empty lol. But the cashier was nice and answered all our questions about the burgers. We both decided to get the new guacamole bacon burger (mine was a double of course). The space was pretty clean but I did notice that there were literally only 3 (visible) workers in there. The cashier who took our order was also handling the drive thru. There was another girl who was sweeping and then disappeared into the back. And then there was the guy cooking and prepping the food. Now the food itself was fresh and delicious. The burger was juicy and cooked just right. The onion rings and French fries were crisp and flavorful. The fish sandwich was tasty and the famous star is always good. There is an area inside to dine in, I see this more of a drive up and go place. This Carl's Jr. in Pinole overcharged my daughter who was visiting from Texas for food. That's the first complaint the second complaint is she paid with her debit card. Two days after she went back to Texas someone wiped all of the money out of her bank at various businesses. The first business was Carl's Jr. Pinole, this is being investigated. They totally emptied her bank account. The food we got that day was old food that had been sitting the onion rings had no onions in them. They were so dried up and hard that you could not eat them. Had we not been on our way to an event we needed to go to, we would have taken the food back . When we got home that day, my daughter attempted to make a report about the restaurant by calling, but they would not take our call so she did it on the Internet. They never did return a call to her or responded anyway to what had happened. She left here on the ninth of July and the charges in California, which took almost $3000 out of her checking account began on the 11th and the very first one was at the Carls junior in Pinole California on the 11th. Just making people aware that this has happened and there are warnings out there about employees at fast food restaurants Peoples front and back of their debit cards or credit cards when they pay through the drive-through. Not to mention the terrible food that we received in Pinole and when we questioned the amount we were being charged as it was different than what was on the outside menu we were spoken to in a very rude manner by the older woman who was at the drive-through window, this should be investigated. read more

I came here to try Carl's new Beyond Meat breakfast burrito. Man, it's really good! I've recently gone vegan, so I had it minus the egg and cheese, but it was still really good! They just filled the burrito with more pico de gallo and hash browns, which I didn't mind at all! We haven't tried any of the food here but tonight folks we did. And to say we are pleased! The food is good! The burger has thy charboiled taste and cheese thats perfectly melted. The chicken sandwich is the bomb. Its spicy and tasty you can taste the spices. Fries are okay but didnt disappoint. The chicken tenders are juicy. I think the outside facade needs update because the restaurant we have here in our place is dim and not enough lights. But overall its great! read more

I write this review only having experience the drive thru, and I find that experience to have gone well the handful of times I've run by this joint. They are on my way to work, so I've stopped by here for a bite to eat every so often. Every time I've gone through, my orders have gone well. It is a fast food place, so the food is consistent in taste (which I'm a fan of Carl's Jr, I'd say they are pretty good for fast food). I've also gotten my orders relatively quickly and they are hot as well, nothing to complain about from that end. The biggest downside for me is the price of CJ, I think they can be a bit on the higher side for fast food. Still, that doesn't stop me from going! read more

This a customer service oriented industry and the manager shows no business knowledge. I usually order their guacamole bacon burger and ALWAYS ask for no tomatoes and no onions. I'm not allergic to them, but I just don't enjoy them enough to have them raw with my burgers. We've ordered twice from this location for delivery. 1st time, food arrived prepared incorrectly and cold. Maybe it was just a fluke, right? So we tried again. This time, order was prepared wrong, and food arrived dead-ass cold, despite the delivery driver being way early.... it's not the delivery, it's this location. The journey to cut out meat from the diet continues. Through research, I found out about a few meatless burger options at fast food restaurants. While The Impossible Burger (found at Burger King and several other establishments) got all the rave, I went off the beaten path to Carl's Jr. to try the Beyond Famous Star. At this point I've actually tried both and I can honestly tell you that I'm my opinion, Carl's Jr. won this face off without breaking a bun(LOL). Our kids ate them up without blinking an eye. The flavor is phenomenal! Of course I also looked up the nutritional numbers after and was a tad disappointed. The meatless option of the Famous Star has more calories and sodium than the regular burger. Confusing and concerning but hopefully they'll work to make it all together, a healthier lifestyle choice. read more

I've had the Beyond many times and it has a very distinct flavor of liquid smoke, which this burger did not. You go at the wrong time of the day & it's a gamble on if your order will be fresh or has been sitting on the heat rack for hours or even a day old.
